Abstract

Karakter adalah cara berpikir dan bertingkah laku yang tidak selaras dan sebagai karakteristik ciri khas berdasarkan masing-masing individu untuk hidup dan bekerja sama baik pada lingkungan keluarga, rakyat, bangsa dan negara. Untuk membangun karakter siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika perlu didukung dengan instrument penilaian yang berkualitas. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengidentifikasikan karakteristik instrument panilaian karakter dalam pembelajaran matematika siswa kelas V Sekolah Dasar Katholik Yos Sudarso. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada kelas V Sekolah Dasar Katholik Yos Sudarso Maumere. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan observasi dan wawancara bersama guru kelas dan guru mata pelajaran matematika kelas V. Berdasarkan hasil yang dapatkan, pembentukan karakter pada siswa masih minim. Tidak sesuai dengan indikator yang ditentukan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa karakter siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika masih belum berkualitas

Abstract

Development of Character Assessment Instruments for Elementary School Students in Sikka Regency in Mathematics Subjects Materials for Flat Shapes Based on Android Applications is a development research with the formulation of the problem, namely: The assessment model used by the teacher, Design of developing student character assessment instruments, Validity, Reliability and Practicality of student character assessment instruments on Android-based flat-building math subjects. The purpose of the study was to produce an instrument for assessing the character of elementary school students in Sikka Regency based on a valid, reliable, and practical android application. The research method uses research and development (R&D). The development using the Djemari Mardapi model was modified in three stages: the preliminary stage, the development stage, and the evaluation stage. The results of the study resulted in a teacher's guidebook and the application of student character assessment instruments in valid, reliable, and practical mathematics subjects, the instrument was validated by a validator to test the feasibility of the instrument, reliability was analyzed by intraclass correlation coefficients obtained by an average limited trial of 0.783. Large-scale trials average 0.868 and average measure 0.906. One-way ANOVA statistical test obtained a valid value of 0.85. Practicality test highest score 80 practical. In conclusion, the development research resulted in a teacher's guidebook and an application for character assessment for elementary school students in mathematics. Suggestions for teachers to use guidebooks and applications that have been downloaded via Smartphones in classroom learning when conducting learning evaluations.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan buku panduan penilaian karakter siswa sekolah dasar pada mata pelajaran IPA Matematika, dengan fokus pada empat aspek: model penilaian yang digunakan guru, desain pengembangan instrumen, validitas dan reliabilitas instrumen, serta kepraktisan instrumen. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D), mengikuti model Djemari Mardapi yang dimodifikasi menjadi tiga tahap: studi pendahuluan, pengembangan, dan evaluasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa instrumen penilaian yang dikembangkan memenuhi syarat validitas, reliabilitas, dan kepraktisan. Validasi instrumen dilakukan oleh empat validator dan disarankan untuk direvisi sebelum uji coba. Uji reliabilitas menunjukkan hasil yang sangat tinggi, dengan skor rata-rata reliabilitas 0,783 pada uji coba terbatas, dan meningkat menjadi 0,868 dan 0,906 pada uji coba skala besar di dua sekolah. Analisis validitas konstrak menggunakan uji one-way ANOVA menunjukkan nilai KMO 0,85, yang dinyatakan valid. Kepraktisan instrumen juga diuji dengan angket, menunjukkan nilai kepraktisan yang baik dengan skor antara 55 dan 80 dari 20 responden guru. Buku panduan ini diharapkan dapat digunakan oleh guru dalam mengevaluasi pembelajaran karakter siswa di kelas.

Abstract

The ultimate goal of learning mathematics is that students are able to formulate and express solutions to everyday mathematical problems. This means that innovations in learning mathematics must be in accordance with the environmental conditions of the education unit, in order to be able to answer problems in the environment. In addition, the government is also trying to form a Pancasila Student Profile meaning that students who have basic competencies and behaviors that are in line with the values of Pancasila. Hence, the researcher developed a math learning module containing the traditional units ‘liwut’ and ‘subur’ of Sikka Regency. This study aimed to determine whether the developed module was feasible to use in learning and whether it was able to foster global diversity profiles in order to succeed the Pancasila Student Profile. This research was a Research and Design study with the ADDIE model. The results of material expert validation obtained an average of 2.67, a feasibility percentage of 90.8%, and the results of media expert validation obtained an average of 2.65, a feasibility percentage of 88.33% and they were in the feasible category. Furthermore, the results of the product trial indicated that the average of student questionnaire response was 3.94, percentage of questionnaire response was 98.42% and they were in the very good category. Furthermore, the average results of the teacher response questionnaire were 3.84, the percentage of teacher questionnaire response was 96.08% and they were in the very good category. The percentage of the global diversity dimension questionnaire was 91.93% and it was in the very good category. The results indicated that the learning module was valid, feasible to use and able to foster a global diversity profile.
