Abstract

Abstract This current study was conducted to arrive at the scientific and accurate answer to decide whether there was correlation between Job Satisfaction and Management Knowledge and Working Performance of Student Sport Center Management, either working individually or collaboratively. Management team of Training and Development in Student Sport Center North Sumatera as many as 30 people were chosen as the subjects of this current study. This study was conducted on February-March 2012. This research used correlation approach technique in taking samples by using total sampling. It was concluded that: 1) There was a significant correlation between Job Satisfaction and Working  Performance of Training and Development Management of Student Sport Center North Sumatera, which resulted t-count = 5.20 > t-table = 1.70; 2) There was a significant correlation between Management Knowledge and Working Performance of Training and Development Management of Student Sport Center North Sumatera, which resulted t-count = 3.32> t-table = 1.70; and 3) There was a significant correlation between Job Satisfaction and Management Knowledge and  Performance of Training and Development Management of Student Sport Center North Sumatera, which resulted F-count =20.37 > F-table = 3.35. Key words: job satisfaction, management knowledge, performance

Abstract

Outbound is an outdoor activity. Outbound can also stimulate enthusiasm for learning. Outbound is a means of increasing knowledge gained from a series of adventurous experiences so that it can stimulate the enthusiasm and creativity of students. Out bound is considered necessary for the development of a systematic and sustainable model for student development. Through the community partnership program which will be implemented at the Pondok Pesantren Al-Uswah, it is aimed at providing knowledge about learning models that can develop the character of students through out bound training as well as making the available out bound facilities a source of income for the Pondok Pesantren. This activity aims to: 1) increase partners' knowledge about out bound training which is useful in building the character of students. 2) provide out bound facilities for partner Pondok Pesantren, 3), train partners to be able to use and create out bound programs independently. 4) make the out training program a new business for partners. Outbound training activities carried out at the Pondok Pesantren Al-Uswah have produced 20 instructors who can carry out outbound activities well in accordance with standard procedures for implementing outbound activities. This activity has also produced outbound equipment which can be used as a means to carry out outbound activities for students and other general public.

Abstract

This community service activity is one form of the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. This activity was carried out in order to help preserve the pencak silat banjar culture which is in the Village of Ara Payung. The main problem faced by partners is that in carrying out the training of pencak silat trainers, they do not yet have the ability to prepare training programs, variations in the practice of pencak silat in the art of motion are not many. And the lack of training facilities that exist in supporting a good training process, and supporting facilities. The output targets in this activity are: Trainers are able to make a good and correct training program in accordance with the rules of coaching. Availability of standard martial arts training facilities in accordance with the provisions. The method used to achieve the objectives of this activity is. Coaching clinic for the preparation of training programs for pencak silat coach, and mentoring for banjar pencak silat training. This service activity has resulted in an exercise program that is used in training at tha club, the trainer is able to arrange an exercise program that can be applied in training, increasing the variety of training in the Pencak Silat Raga Insani club. With the training and mentoring activities, the enthusiasm of the teenagers in the village of Ara Payung was higher in participating in the martial arts training in his village.Keywords: Instrument, Talent, Karate.

Abstract

Karang Anyar bathing attraction is a tourist location managed by the community of Karang Rejo Village, Gunung Maligas District, Simalungun Regency. This tourist attraction is managed independently by a community of 10 people. Partners market their tourist objects still in a conventional way. The main problems faced by partners are, in the management of this tourist attraction, financial management is carried out conventionally, the cleanliness of tourist sites that have not been well organized. Marketing of tourist sites is still done in a conventional way. The cleanliness of the tourist attraction location is getting better, 90% of visitors are satisfied with the cleanliness of the tourist attraction. 2. The existence of a cash book that is used in recording income and expenses of tourist attractions. 3. The existence of social media accounts on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok which are used for marketing Karang Anyar natural bathing objects. The direct impact of this activity is the increase in the number of visitors by 45% from the average previous visit.
