Abstract

BCA Syari'ah Bank makes efforts to support financial inclusion by collaborating with the Ministry of Finance in Sharia Securities transactions. The research method used by researchers is literature study using secondary data with BCA Syari'ah Bank as the research object. The results obtained are that there are various efforts made by Bank BCA Syari'ah to support financial inclusion and State Sharia Securities have an impact on the economy in Indonesia by increasing the amount of state budget revenue and providing opportunities for the investing community to support domestic development.

Abstract

Culture is a fundamental element in the formation of community identity, including for the Palembang Malay community. One of the cultures possessed by this community is the Ruwahan tradition. This article attempts to provide information about the Ruwahan tradition carried out by the Palembang Malay community as well as convey shifts or changes in the Ruwahan tradition among the Malay community in Palembang. Through the library research method, the author obtained information from various written sources that were relevant to the object of study, namely the Palembang Malay community. The results presented in this paper show that there was a shift in the Ruwahan tradition due to the inclusion of Islamic values in the early Ruwahan tradition which came from Hindu religious heritage. Then there was a change from spiritual ritual activities to commercial and economic aspects as well as the involvement of the Palembang Malay community who became active in commercialization in the current implementation of the Ruwahan tradition.

Abstract

This research is entitled "Professional Zakat Management Strategy as an Effort to Increase Zakat Awareness at BAZNAS Palembang City." Zakat is an amount of property that must be spent by a Muslim who has fulfilled the terms and conditions of the Shari'ah with the aim of giving it to groups who in accordance with the Shari'a are entitled to receive zakat. The purpose of this research is to find out the strategies used by BAZNAS (Badan Amil Zakat) to increase awareness of zakat at BAZNAS, to find out the impact BAZNAS faces in managing professional zakat, and also to find out the solutions used by BAZNAS in dealing with obstacles in management. professional charity. This type of research is field research using a qualitative approach and descriptive research methods. The data collection tools used were observation, interviews and documentation methods. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the research show that the strategy used by BAZNAS is to use management functions such as planning, organizing, implementing, supervising, the aim is for people to believe that the zakat they give to BAZNAS in the city of Palembang is really well managed and given to people who need help and also so that people have the awareness to pay zakat. The impact faced by BAZNAS in managing professional zakat is the lack of awareness of muzakki to pay zakat at BAZNAS which is caused by several factors such as lack of public knowledge, people's mindset that is not yet open, and the community environment. The solution used by BAZNAS to face these obstacles is by holding outreach and education to increase public knowledge about professional zakat.

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the magnitude of the influence of FDR and BOPO on ROA with NPF intervention at Bank Muamalat Indonesia for the 2014-2022 period. The data used comes from secondary sources, namely financial reports taken from the official BMI website. This research method is a descriptive quantitative approach using SPSS 25 as a data processing program. The results of this research indicate that FDR and BOPO have a significant effect on ROA, FDR and BOPO together have an effect on ROA. Furthermore, NPF cannot significantly mediate FDR or BOPO on ROA.

Abstract

Customer satisfaction is an important factor that is used as a goal by companies, including the banking world. Customer satisfaction is very valuable for a bank or company. In customer satisfaction, there are several factors that influence it, including the quality of service and facilities. Customers who are satisfied with a service or product provided and the facilities are good and adequate tend to use the service again in the future. Before using services or products at a bank, customers will make a decision to use a bank's products and services. In this case, individuals will have their own perceptions, with individuals looking for information about bank services and products that suit their needs. This research aims to determine the influence of service quality and facilities on customer satisfaction where decisions are an intervening variable at Bank Syariah Indonesia KCP Palembang Simpang Patal. The method used in collecting data is through a questionnaire using a Likert scale. The population was 19,639 total customers from 2020 and the sample used was 99 respondents using a purposive sampling technique. Data processing uses the SmartPLS application version 4.0. The path coefficient shows that the quality of service and facilities has a significant effect on customer satisfaction. Decisions cannot mediate service quality on customer satisfaction. But decisions can mediate facilities on customer satisfaction

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the influence of Social Media and Self Efficacy on Investment Decisions with Financial Technology as an intervening variable. The population for this research consists of Generation Z individuals in Palembang city who have made investment decisions, with a sample size of 100. Purposive sampling technique was employed to manage the sample, following several procedures. Data analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling - Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) with SmartPLS version 4.1. The findings indicate that social media does not influence investment decisions, self efficacy positively affects investment decisions, social media influences financial technology, self efficacy influences financial technology, and financial technology influences investment decisions. In this study, financial technology fully mediates the relationship between social media and investment decisions, while self efficacy partially mediates the relationship between social media and investment decisions.

Abstract

Mewujudkan kesejahteraan adalah suatu keadaan seseorang atau kelompok masyarakat yang menginginkan untuk memenuhi kebutuhannya secara material, spiritual, dan sosial dikarenakan belum terpenuhi. Zakat, infaq, dan shadaqah (ZIS) adalah pilar penting di lingkup sistem ekonomi Islam yang berperan dalam pentasyarufan kekayaan dan mewujudkan kesejahteraan mustahik sehingga dibentukkan lembaga khusus pengelola dana ZIS, yaitu Badan Amil Zakat Nasional (BAZNAS), salah satunya BAZNAS Kota Palembang. Optimalisasi pentasyarufan dana ZIS menjadi kunci dalam memaksimalkan manfaatnya bagi mustahik. Di dalam BAZNAS Kota Palembang terdapat kegiatan dalam pengelolaan ZIS baik dari pengumpulan, pendistribusian, maupun pendayagunaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana penerapan optimalisasi pentasyarufan ZIS melalui three circles model dalam mewujudkan kesejahteraan mustahik. Three circles model terdiri dari tiga lingkaran yang saling berkaitan dalam pengelolaan ZIS: lingkaran merah (interaksi muzakki-amil), lingkaran hijau (interaksi amil-mustahik), dan lingkaran hitam (interaksi muzakki-amil-mustahik) dan apa saja faktor-faktor dalam pentasyarufan dana ZIS maupun dampak dari pentasyarufan dana ZIS tersebut. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus, memanfaatkan data primer dan data sekunder yang diperoleh melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan three circles model terbukti mampu mengoptimalkan pentasyarufan dana ZIS melalui identifikasi dan pemetaan kebutuhan mustahik yang akurat dan menyeluruh, pengembangan program pendistribusian dan pendayagunaan yang terarah dan berkelanjutan, pembentukan jaringan kerjasama dengan berbagai pihak terkait, pemanfaatan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi dalam pengelolaan ZIS, dan juga peningkatan akuntabilitas dan transparansi dalam pengelolaan ZIS. Penerapan three circles model ini menunjukkan hasil positif dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan mustahik, seperti peningkatan pendapatan, akses terhadap pendidikan dan kesehatan, serta kemandirian ekonomi. Model ini dapat menjadi contoh bagi lembaga pengelola ZIS lainnya dalam mengoptimalkan pentasyarufan dana ZIS dan mewujudkan kesejahteraan mustahik. Abstract

Abstract: Realizing well-being is a state where individuals or groups of society seek to meet their material, spiritual, and social needs due to unmet requirements. This study aims to evaluate and optimize the distribution of Zakat, Infaq, and Shadaqah (ZIS) funds through the implementation of the Three Circles Model to achieve the well-being of mustahik at BAZNAS Kota Palembang. The Three Circles Model, developed by the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, integrates a holistic approach in ZIS fund management with a focus on three main areas: muzakki, amil, and mustahik, encompassing social, economic, and religious aspects. This research employs a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative analysis of ZIS fund collection and distribution data with qualitative interviews with mustahik and amil at BAZNAS Kota Palembang. The findings indicate that during the first six months of 2024, BAZNAS Kota Palembang successfully collected a total of Rp3,968,830,416 in ZIS funds and allocated Rp2,645,040,148 to various programs, including "Palembang Peduli," "Palembang Sehat," "Palembang Makmur," "Palembang Cerdas," and "Palembang Taqwa." These programs have had a positive impact on improving the well-being of mustahik by meeting basic needs, improving housing conditions, providing health services, supporting education, and creating job opportunities. However, challenges such as fluctuations in fund collection and suboptimal allocation from the total funds collected were noted. This study recommends enhancing transparency and accountability in fund management, improving distribution mechanisms to reduce disparities, and developing more effective monitoring and evaluation systems. Additionally, suggestions for future research include studying long-term impacts, innovations in management, and comparative analysis with other zakat institutions. By implementing the Three Circles Model, BAZNAS Kota Palembang is expected to more effectively optimize the distribution of ZIS funds and achieve the goal of mustahik well-being in a more comprehensive and sustainable manner.

Abstract

Word of mouth is communication by word of mouth regarding the quality of a product. Customer experience is a series or strategy and implementation carried out by a company to manage relationships with customers regarding the use of the company's products or services. This research aims to analyze the influence of word of mouth and customer experience on student satisfaction in using BSB Syariah services for paying Single Tuition Fees (UKT) at UIN Raden Fatah Palembang This type of research uses quantitative research with Likert scale questionnaire data collection techniques. The object of this research is undergraduate students in Sharia Banking class 2020 and 2021, Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business, UIN Raden Fatah Palembang. The number of respondents was 83 with a questionnaire of 32 statements. The research results show that word of mouth has a positive and significant effect on student satisfaction, with a t-count value of 4.285 which is greater than t-table 1.644 and a significance value of 0.000 which is smaller than 0.05. Furthermore, customer experience is also proven to have a positive and significant influence on student satisfaction, with a t value of 6.399 which is greater than t table 1.644 and a significance value of 0.000 which is smaller than 0.05. Together, word of mouth and customer experience have a significant effect on student satisfaction, with an Fcount value of 114.533 which is greater than Ftable 3.11 and a significance value of 0.000 which is smaller than 0.05. Thus, the combination of word of mouth and customer experience plays an important role in increasing student satisfaction with BSB Syariah services.
