Abstract

This research aims is Developing Guided Inquiry-based practicum LKDP which was developed on valid acid-base material and Testing the implementation of guided inquiry-based practicum LKDP which was developed on acid-base material. The subjects in this research were class XI MIA4 students at SMA Negeri 1 Lawa totaling 30 students. Subjects were taken using purposive sampling, namely determining samples with certain considerations that were deemed able to provide maximum data. The instrument used to measure the implementation of guided inquiry-based practical LKPD is a response questionnaire (teacher and student). The results of data analysis show that 1) The validity of the guided inquiry-based practicum LKDP from the validation results of 2 validators shows that media validators have an average assessment presentation of 88.57% with very feasible criteria and material validators have an average assessment percentage of 90.90 If the criteria are very feasible, then the LKPD is worth testing. 2) The implementation of the guided inquiry-based practical LKPD in small groups obtained a percentage of students who strongly agreed 88.88%, while for large groups the percentage of students who strongly agreed was 91.93% and for the teacher percentage the percentage value was 88%.

Abstract

Pelatihan Rekonstruksi Pembelajaran Matematika dan IPA Melalui Penerapan Model REACT (Relating, Experiencing, Applying, Cooperating, and Transferring) bagi Guru SMP Negeri 9 Kendari bertujuan untuk: (1) memberikan pengetahuan dan pengalaman kepada peserta pelatihan tentang rekonstruksi pembelajaran yang berorientasi kepada peserta didik sebagai pusat pembelajaran (students as learning centers); (2) meningkatkan keterampilan peserta pelatihan dalam menyusun Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP) berbasis model REACT; (3) meningkatkan keterampilan peserta pelatihan dalam menerapkan model REACT pada pembelajaran matematika dan IPA. Khalayak sasaran kegiatan pelatihan ini adalah guru SMP Negeri 9 Kendari yang berjumlah 24 orang yang terdiri dari 14 guru matematika dan 10 guru IPA. Metode  yang  digunakan  adalah:  ceramah,  presentasi, diskusi, dan penugasan. Hasil kegiatan ini adalah tersusunnya RPP yang didesain menggunakan model REACT untuk pembelajaran matematika dan pembelajaran IPA, yang dapat diimplementasikan dalam pembelajaran oleh guru matematika dan guru IPA di SMP Negeri 9 Kendari.

Abstract

Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatan pengetahuan dan keyakinan guru Kimia terkait penerapan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi. Mitra pengabdian terdiri atas 15 guru kimia SMA di Kabupaten Konawe yang tergabung dalam musyawarah guru mata pelajaran (MGMP) kimia. Modul pelatihan menggunakan pendekatan situated learning (sesuai kondisi Guru). Tahapan pelatihan meliputi:  identifikasi pengetahuan dan keyakinan awal mitra, pengembangan materi pembekalan berdasarkan data awal, dan pelaksanaan.  Analisis data awal menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan dan keyakinan mitra sangat beragam dan ada yang miskonsepsi. Sebagian besar mitra tidak meyakini bahwa pembelajaran berdiferensiasi dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar kimia siswa. Berdasarkan pengetahuan awal mitra, dikembangkan salah satu contoh diferensiasi konten menggunakan strategi kesukaran terdegradasi. Hasil pelaksanaan pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan mitra terkait konsep pembelajaran beriferensiasi meningkat, dan sebagian besar mitra mempunyai keyakinan bahwa penggunaan strategi kesukaran terdegradasi pada pembelajaran kimia dapat meningkatkan minat belajar dan prestasi belajar kimia. Mitra guru kimia mengalami peningkatan secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif terkait dengan keyakinan dan pengetahuan desain pembelajaran berdiferensiasi. Mereka memberikan komentar positif terkait implementasi pembelajaran berdiferensiasi, seperti siswa berbakat akan semakin berkembang karena tidak perlu lagi menunggu temannya yang belum paham. Hasil analisis data kuantitatif menunjukkan terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan sebesar 40% dan keyakinan sebesar 80%.

Abstract

Halu Oleo University (UHO) Botanical Garden is one of the green open spaces that contribute to maintaining climate stability and environmental comfort in Kendari City, along with the high land use change due to increased population and city progress. The study aimed to determine the effect of land cover types on microclimate in UHO Botanical Garden and its surroundings. The research was conducted from June 2021 to January 2022. The research was conducted on three types of vegetation land cover.  The variables measured were microclimate, including light intensity, temperature, relative humidity, and temperature humidity index. Measurements were conducted in the morning, afternoon, and evening. The method used was descriptive quantitative and statistical analysis using the analysis of variance and the least significant difference (LSD) test. The results showed that the microclimatic conditions of UHO Botanical Garden in tree-dominant land cover are more comfortable and significantly different from grass-dominant and settlement-dominant, but they are not significantly different between grass-dominant and settlement-dominant. This fact indicates the importance of the conservation of tree vegetation and the need for supervision so that there is no diversion of functions into settlements to maintain the preservation and sustainability of UHO Botanical Garden as one of the green open spaces that control climate stability and environmental comfort in Kendari City.
