Abstract

Education is considered as the main investment for the future of the nation, with motivation to learn as the key to success inthe educational process. In the context of learning in SMP Negeri 35 Medan, the main challenges faced are lack of motivationand gaps in student learning interests. This study uses descriptive qualitative research methods. A monotonous and lessinteractive learning process, it often involves learning methods that tend to memorize and are less attractive to students. Inaddition, inadequate facilities and network access are also an obstacle. The results showed that students tend to be bored andless motivated when studying. Teachers at SMP Negeri 35 still often use traditional methods that emphasize memorizationrather than active student interaction. To overcome this problem, a more inspiring and interactive learning approach is needed,as well as the use of more interesting learning media. Teachers also need to be more proactive in communicating with students and creating an environment that supports students ' motivation and interest in learning. These efforts are expected to improve the quality of learning and learning outcomes of students in SMP Negeri 35 Medan.

Abstract

Research report is a document presenting the findings of a study, organized in accordance with a specific research method and mathematical approach, utilizing various languages. Fundamentally, the report should encompass three aspects: What needs to be reported, to whom it should be reported, and for whom it should be reported. These are typically displayed on the cover or title page. The text of the report plays a crucial role in documentation as it enables the collection, processing, and presentation of accurate and systematic information. In the context of research, the text of experimental and observational findings serves as documentation, allowing researchers to record data and outcomes obtained from the study. This research employs a qualitative method with an approach known as library studies. The findings of the research indicate challenges in organizing information systematically and clearly to be presented in a structured report. Authors may need to deal with complex data and analysis, requiring the ability to manage information effectively.

Abstract

The formation of students' ethics and morals is one of the crucial aspects of education, aiming not only to enhance academic knowledge but also to shape good character. In a continuously changing and challenging social context, the need for education that instills moral and ethical values becomes increasingly urgent. This aligns with the role of education. Although there have been many studies discussing the importance of character education, there is still a gap in understanding the specific role of teachers in this context. This research utilizes a qualitative method with a literature review approach.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the causes and strategies for preventing cheating among students at SMP Negeri 35 Medan. This research uses qualitative research methods using books and journals as additional references. This research was conducted by SMP N 35 Pecut Sei Tuan, North Sumatra. The results of the research show that cheating behavior still often occurs among students at SMP Negeri 35 Medan. This is motivated by the lack of concern from teachers, schools and parents regarding learning problems, especially cheating behavior, and also because there is pressure on students to get good grades. Thus, it has a negative impact on students' academic and moral development. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out various strategies including group guidance, and collaboration with subject teachers and homeroom teachers, individual guidance, and learning counseling in reducing students' cheating behavior at school.
