Abstract

Various efforts have been made to prevent and address sexual harassment in higher education environments, yet it still occurs. One approach is through psychoeducation. Therefore, an information system was designed as a form of psychoeducation that can be accessed anytime and anywhere to prevent and address sexual harassment, called beranibersuara.id. This information system includes several features to help survivors and prevent sexual harassment. These features are the psychoeducational module regarding sexual harassment, a “Call Us” feature that enbles survivors to get help quickly from the task force or police, and a counselor feature for psychological assistance. There is also a health reference feature that provides a list of hospitals, including their addresses and telephone numbers, for survivors to check their health after experiencing sexual harassment. This information system also provides mindfulness psychoeducation and training videos to reduce negative emotions experienced by survivors. Based on the results of the usability test of the berabibersuara.id site (18-20 January, 2024) involving 55 participants, 58,2% stated that features on the site were usable. However, maintenance and development of this site are needed as media for psychoeducation on the prevention and handling of sexual harassment.

Abstract

Non-suicidal self-injury (NSSI) or self-harm is on the rise among Indonesian adolescents. As digital natives, they often turn to the internet for information, including mental health support. To address this issue, a team from the Faculty of Psychology and Informatics Engineering at Universitas Pancasila developed cintadiri.id, an information system designed to prevent and handle self-harm. The website offers a range of features, including psychoeducational articles, relaxation videos, a journaling tool, and consultations with psychologists. To evaluate the website's effectiveness, a survey was conducted among 30 participants aged 17-21. There are five questions given, such as "how attractive the design is", "how useful the website is", "how helpful". The results obtained an average value of 3.73 (scale 1-5) for all answers. This shows that the cintadiri.id website is feasible as a website that has the potential to prevent and handle self-harm. The development of this website and research on the use of websites as a tool to help handle self-are needed.   Abstrak Perilaku melukai diri sendiri tanpa intensi untuk bunuh diri, yang dikenal dengan istilah self-harm semakin marak dilakukan di Indonesia, khususnya oleh remaja. Remaja saat ini merupakan digital native yang banyak mencari informasi di internet, termasuk mencari bantuan psikologis terkait masalah yang sedang mereka hadapi. Maka dibutuhkan suatu sistem informasi untuk membantu pencegahan dan penanganan self-harm yang dilakukan oleh remaja. Kebutuhan akan hal tersebut dapat dipenuhi dengan pembuatan website yang dilakukan oleh tim dari Fakultas Psikologi dan Teknik Informatika Universitas Pancasila. Website untuk mencegah dan menangani self-harm yang dibuat dinamakan cintadiri.id yang merupakan bentuk kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dengan jenis psikoedukasi secara online dan bersifat tetap. Pada website ini terdapat berbagai fitur, yaitu artikel psikoedukasi untuk mencegah self-harm, video relaksasi pernapasan untuk membantu pengguna menstabilkan emosi ketika merasakan emosi negatif berlebihan akibat peristiwa yang dihadapi, fitur journaling dan fitur bantuan layanan konsultasi psikologis dari Universitas Pancasila. Untuk mengetahui apakah website cintadiri.id memiliki kelayakan sebagai sistem informasi untuk mencegah dan menangani self-harm, maka dilakukan pengambilan data kepada 30 orang partisipan dengan rentang usia 17-21 tahun. Ada lima pertanyaan yang diberikan, seperti “seberapa menarik desainnya”, “seberapa berguna webnya”, “seberapa membantu”. Hasil diperoleh nilai rata-rata 3,73 (skala 1-5) untuk semua jawaban. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa web cintadiri.id layak sebagai web yang berpotensi dapat mencegah dan menangani self-harm. Adapun pengembangan terhadap website ini masih terus dilakukan dan penelitian penggunaan website sebagai alat membantu penanganan self-harm masih perlu dilakukan.

Abstract

Abstract The results of a collaborative survey between the Ministry of Communication and Informatics (kementaerian Komunikasi dan Informatika - Kominfo) and the Katadata Insight Center (KIC) on the Status of Digital Literacy in Indonesia (2023) indicate that the digital literacy of Indonesian netizens is categorized as moderate (score of 3.65 out of 5). However, this score is considered low compared to other ASEAN countries. This can lead to various negative impacts such as easily believing fake news, cyberbullying, and being vulnerable to online fraud. These negative impacts also have the potential to cause various problems that can disrupt mental health. The Faculty of Psychology, Universitas Pancasila understands the connection between digital literacy and mental health, therefore feels the need to contribute by conducting social interventions. The activity carried out was psychoeducation aimed at strengthening the mental health of the community in general by improving the understanding of digital literacy. The psychoeducation activity was carried out on August 13, 2024, at SMP Negeri 1 Sukamakmur located in Sukaresmi Village, Sukamakmur District, Bogor Regency, West Java, which still has limitations in terms of facilities and human resource development. This psychoeducation was conducted for 42 teachers from early childhood education to high school in the vicinity of Sukaresmi Village. The results of the pre-test and post-test showed a significant increase in digital literacy skills (p<0.001) after psychoeducation (M=4.28; SD=1.03) compared to before psychoeducation (M=2.45; SD=1.09). This increased understanding is expected to reduce the negative impacts of using digital media and teachers can disseminate the knowledge gained, especially to students. Keywords: digital literacy, mental health, teacher Abstrak Hasil survei kolaborasi Kementerian Komunikasi dan Informatika (Kominfo) dengan Katadata Insight Center (KIC) tentang Status Literasi Digital di Indonesia tahun 2023 menunjukkan bahwa literasi digital warganet Indonesia tergolong pada kategori sedang (skor 3,65 dari 5). Namun demikian, skor ini tergolong rendah jika dibandingkan dengan negara-negara ASEAN lainnya. Hal ini dapat menimbulkan berbagai dampak negatif seperti mudah mempercayai berita palsu (fake news), terjadinya cyberbullying, hingga kerentanan menjadi korban penipuan di dunia maya. Dampak-dampak negatif ini juga berpotensi menyebabkan berbagai persoalan yang dapat mengganggu kesehatan mental. Fakultas Psikologi Universitas Pancasila memahami adanya keterkaitan antara literasi digital dan kesehatan mental sehingga merasa perlu berkontribusi dengan melakukan intervensi sosial. Kegiatan yang dilakukan adalah psikoedukasi yang bertujuan menguatkan kesehatan mental masyarakat secara umum dengan meningkatkan pemahaman akan literasi digital. Kegiatan psikoedukasi dilaksanakan pada 13 Agustus 2024 di SMP Negeri 1 Sukamakmur yang terletak di Desa Sukaresmi, Kecamatan Sukamakmur, Kabupaten Bogor, Jawa Barat yang masih memiliki keterbatasan dalam hal fasilitas dan pengembangan sumber daya manusianya. Psikoeduasi ini dilakukan kepada 42 guru dari tingkat PAUD sampai dengan SMA di sekitar daerah Desa Sukaresmi. Hasil pre-test dan post-test menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan literasi digital secara signifikan (p<0,001) setelah psikoedukasi (M=4,28; SD=1,03) dibandingkan sebelum psikoedukasi (M=2,45; SD=1,09). Peningkatan pemahaman ini diharapkan dapat mengurangi dampak negatif dari penggunaan media digital dan guru-guru dapat menyebarkan pengetahuan yang didapat terutama kepada peserta didik. Abstract

Self-harm is an intentional act of self injury without suicidal intent. In Indonesia, self-harm is becoming an increasingly serious problem, especially among teenagers. Previous studies and surveys conducted by institutions shows quite significant results with relatively high numbers. Considering that the causes of self-harm are quite complex, there is a need for education about self-harm and access to mental health services. Based on aforementioned researches, a web-based information system was developed which the author called Cintadiri.id. Cintadiri.id was designed and developed as an innovative and comprehensive information system to help prevent and deal with self-harm behavior in Indonesia. This system hopes to help people who are struggling with self-harm behavior get the information and resources they need to get help and recover. Cintadiri.id information system was developed using SDLC Waterfall method, supported with PHP programming language, MySQL database and Laravel framework.  Cintadiri.id provides various information and resources that can help people who are struggling with self-harm, including information about self-harm, resources and tools to help people who are struggling with self-harm behavior. It is hoped that Cintadiri.id can be a reference for the information and resources they need to get help.

Abstract

One of handling the COVID-19 pandemic that carried out by BNPB is to form a volunteers of psychology, to provide psychological counseling services to communities those affected by the pandemic. Psychological counseling services are carried out online using the psychological first aid methods. This service is a form of community service that is carried out remotely through the Zoom Meeting. The advantage of it is that reaches more people throughout Indonesia, even for those who have never previously received counseling psychology services. One of the psychological counseling services is provided to a housewife who lives in Solo, while the counselor provides services from Jakarta. The service is provided in two meetings via Zoom Meeting with each meeting lasting 2 hours. After twice receiving psychological counseling services using the psychological first aid methods, especially training on grounding techniques when experiencing stress, the client felt much better. Although this counseling psychology service is provided remotely where there are some obstacles, it still has a positive impact on clients.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan psychological well-being dan problematic internet use pada emerging adult. Responden pada penelitian ini berjumlah 210 emerging adult di Jakarta dengan teknik pengambilan sampel convenience sampling. Psychological well-being diukur menggunakan Psychological Well-Being Scale (PWBS) yang dikembangkan oleh Ryff (1989). Problematic Internet Use diukur menggunakan Generalized Problematic Internet Use Scale 2 (GPIUS-2) yang dikembangkan oleh Caplan (2010). Data penelitian ini dianalisis dengan teknik korelasi sederhana. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian didapatkan hasil bahwa terdapat hubungan signifikan negatif antara semua dimensi psychological well-being (self-acceptance, positive relation with others, autonomy, environmental mastery, purpose in life, personal growth) dan problematic internet use.

Abstract

Problematic social media use (PSMU) is one of the problems faced by adolescents. One of the social media that is often used by them is Instagram. There are many things that affect PSMU, including fear of missing out (FoMO) and attention-seeking behavior, but it is not yet known which one is more responsible for making individuals experience PSMU. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the role of FoMO and attention-seeking behavior on PSMU in adolescents who use Instagram. Participants in this study amounted to 167 adolescents aged 13-18 years old, with a non-probability web survey-based sampling method (self-selected polls). The results of this study are FoMO and attention-seeking behavior simultaneously have a positive role on PSMU in adolescent who are Instagram users by 32.4% and a significance value of .000 (p < .05) which was tested using analytical techniques: Multiple Linear Regression. Meanwhile, if tested individually, attention-seeking behavior has no role in PSMU. Suggestions for further researcher is to conduct research with the same variables on social media users or at different stages of development, to see if the same thing happens to other social media, or at other stages of development.
