Abstract

Praktik penggunaan teknologi atau jaringan internanet melalui industri perdagangan secara online atau biasa yang disebut e-commerce ini  memiliki jaringan pasar dan sasaran penjual dan pembeli yang sangat luas dan dapat dengan mudah diakses oleh semua orang dari berbagai kalangan  dan setiap saat. Hal ini menyebabkan transaksi perdagangan barang dan jasa melalui internet semakin meningkat jumlahnya sering dengan meningkatnya pengguna internet. E-commerce memberikan peluang terhadap pelaku usaha baru untuk memasuki pasar tanpa adanya hambatan karena media internet dapat diakses dengan mudah oleh semua orang, sehingga dapat terjadi penurunan hambaran pasar (entry barrier). Semakin banyaknya pelaku usaha yang melakukan kegiatan usaha, maka semakin kompetitif suatu pasar. Pada Tahapan yang digunakan pada pelaksanaan pengabdian ini dengan beberapa Persiapan yang dilakukan diantaranya; Melaksanakan  FGD (Forum Group Discussions). pelatihan system pemasaran dengan e-commerce “Shopee”,  melakukan pendampingan kepada pelaku UMKM dalam pemahaman dan penggunaan aplikasi pemasaran di e-commerce shopee, mulai dari registrasi, pembuatan “Toko online” pada akun, cara posting barang, dan informasi layanan yang ada dishopee untuk penjual dan  memonitoring perkembangan dari pelaksanaan penjualan e-commerce. Pelaku UMKM tas anyaman yang sebelumnya hanya mengadalkan system penjualan manual, yakni menunggu konsumen untuk datang langsung ke rumah penjual ataupun menunggu saat ada momen bazar saat ini mereka dapat melakukan penjualan dengan cara digital pada e-commerce.

Abstract

Information Technology (IT) professionals suffer musculoskeletal problems and injuries more frequently due to their type of work which makes them rely on using computers for a prolonged time. The goal of this study is to analyze the risk factors for work-related musculoskeletal disorders in IT professionals. Amount of 150 IT professionals participated in this study as respondents. The Cornell Musculoskeletal Disorders Questionnaire (CMDQ) was used as a measurement tool in determining musculoskeletal complaints among IT professionals. The independent variables (age, gender, working experience, educational level, number of hours spent at work in front of a computer per day, working hours, and exercise habits) that significantly affected the variance in the dependent variable (musculoskeletal disorders) were evaluated using multiple linear regression analysis (p-value < 0.05). IT professionals reported experiencing symptoms most frequently 3–4 times per week in the upper back (45.3%) and back (31.3%), and once or twice per week in the upper back (33.3%) and back (31.3%). Then on the discomfort level, IT professionals feel very uncomfortable in the back (71.3%), upper back (68.7%), and neck (64%). The number of hours spent at work in front of a computer per day (p-values of 0.040) and working hours (p-value of 0,032) are significant predictors of IT professional musculoskeletal disorders. IT professionals reported experiencing the greatest musculoskeletal issues in the right upper extremity, which comprises the right wrist, right forearm, right shoulder, and right upper arm (88%). Back (84%) and left lower extremities (82.7%), which include the left thigh, left knee, and left lower legs, are two other issues that most IT professionals have.

Abstract

Abstract Vocational High School graduates as skilled workers are expected not only to have hard skills but also soft skills that support the work environment. The low soft skills of SMK graduates are related to the risk of burnout in the work environment. The partner learning curriculum is still oriented towards hard skills, so that soft skill learning with its assessment instruments is considered as not optimal. This community service program aims to provide assistance to teachers of SMK Negeri 1 Jenangan to improve specific learning materials related to soft skill development, especially in preparing soft skill assessment instruments for prospective graduates of SMK Negeri 1 Jenangan. This activity was carried out for approximately 5 days with 9 participants of Guidance and Counseling teachers at SMK Negeri 1 Jenang. The method used in assisting the development of softskill learning modules for teachers is Focus Group Discussion which is then delivered by giving lecture material (workshop) and the results of these activities are evaluated through pre-tests and post-tests. The results of this community service show that the Guidance and Counseling teacher at SMK Negeri 1 Jenangan regarding soft skills assessment instruments is still low, so further training is needed regarding assistance in making assessment instruments that are intense and can be applied in the application of student performance reports. Abstrak Lulusan SMK sebagai tenaga kerja terampil diharapkan tidak hanya memiliki hardskill, namun juga softskill yang mendukung di lingkungan kerja. Rendahnya softskill lulusan SMK berhubungan dengan risiko burnout di lingkungan kerja. Kurikulum pembelajaran mitra masih berorientasi pada hardskill sehingga pembelajaran softskill dengan instrumen penilaiannya diakui belum optimal. Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pendampingan kepada pengajar SMK Negeri 1 Jenangan untuk meningkatkan materi pembelajaran khusus terkait pengembangan softskill, terutama dalam penyusunan instrumen penilaian softskill untuk calon lulusan SMK Negeri 1 Jenangan. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan kurang lebih selama 5 hari dengan peserta berupa pengajar Bimbingan dan Konseling SMK Negeri 1 Jenangan sejumlah 9 orang. Metode yang digunakan dalam pendampingan pengembangan modul belajar softskill kepada para pengajar adalah Focus Group Discussion yang selanjutnya disampaikan dengan pemberian ceramah materi (workshop) dan hasil dari kegiatan tersebut dievaluasi melalui pre test dan post test. Hasil dari pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini diketahui bahwa pengetahuan pengajar Bimbingan dan Konseling SMK Negeri 1 Jenangan terkait instrumen penilaian softskill masih rendah, sehingga perlu adanya pelatihan lanjutan terkait pendampingan pembuatan instrumen penilaian yang intens dan dapat diterapkan dalam aplikasi laporan kinerja siswa.

Abstract

Musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) are a growing concern among information technology (IT) professionals. Understanding the specific risk factors associated with MSDs among employers, occupational health practitioners, and IT professionals may reveal effective preventive measures. The aim of this study was to examine the prevalence and identify the risk factors associated with MSDs among IT professionals. A comprehensive literature search was conducted on several databases, including PubMed, Scopus, ScienceDirect, ProQuest, Online Library Wiley, Springer, Web of Science, and manual searches to identify relevant studies published between 2013 and 2023. The search strategy employed appropriate keywords related to IT professionals, musculoskeletal disorders, prevalence, and risk factors. Two reviewers independently assessed each article using PRISMA guidelines and the Joanna Briggs Institute’s (JBI) Critical Appraisal Checklist for Prevalence Data. Data extraction was performed, and a narrative synthesis was conducted to summarize the findings. Our search yielded a total of 1159 records, with 13 studies finally included in this review. The selected studies were from several countries and contained a total of 4632 participants. The prevalence of MSDs was reported with a maximum rate of 89% and a minimum rate of 20%, reflecting the overall percentage of affected individuals and including data on specific body areas affected. Identified risk factors from the selected studies include work duration, experience, sex, strenuous back positions, smoking, physical inactivity, MSD history, uncomfortable workstation setting, mental stress, insufficient sleep, body posture, exercise status, alcohol consumption, prolonged sitting, workspace, job demands, overexertion, breaks during work, and excessive usage of smartphones.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat yang penting untuk kualitas hidup, sangat dipengaruhi oleh literasi kesehatan. Namun, peningkatan penyakit tidak menular akibat gaya hidup tak sehat menunjukkan kesenjangan. Penelitian ini akan menguji tingkat literasi kesehatan mahasiswa di universitas pesantren dan dampaknya pada penerapan perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat mereka.Metode: Penelitian kuantitatif cross-sectional ini melibatkan 96 mahasiswa yang dipilih melalui stratified random sampling. Data perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner modifikasi dari HPLP-II, panduan GERMAS 2015, dan RISKESDAS 2018, sedangkan literasi kesehatan diukur dengan instrumen HLC-EU-Q16.Hasil: Sebanyak 53 (55.2%) mahasiswa yang tidak menerapkan perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat, sedangkan hanya 43 (44.8%) saja yang menerapkan perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa tingkat literasi kesehatan berpengaruh terhadap penerapan perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat dengan nilai p-value 0,0001.Kesimpulan: Mahasiswa dengan literasi kesehatan yang baik mempunyai kemungkinan 4.433 kali lebih tinggi untuk menerapkan perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat. Sehingga kampus perlu ada kebijakan yang mendukung peningkatan literasi kesehatan mahasiswa terkait perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat melalui pemanfaatan media cetak dan elektronik secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Prosedur pengisolasian energi atau dikenal sebagai Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) bertujuan untuk mengurangi potensi bahaya yang disebabkan oleh pelepasan energi yang tidak terkontrol dari mesin yang berenergi saat melakukan perbaikan atau perawatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan sistem penerapan LOTO sebagai upaya pencegahan kecelakaan kerja di PLTU Tanjung Awar-awar Tuban berdasarkan standar OSHA. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan metode kualitatif dengan mengumpulkan data melalui wawancara melalui lima informan dan observasi lapangan, serta menggunakan teknik triangulasi. Hasil penelitian ini menggambarkan bahwa seluruh prosedur LOTO ditujukan untuk mengurangi potensi bahaya akibat pelepasan energi selama proses perbaikan atau perawatan energi yang memerlukan LOTO adalah energi listrik, mekanik, panas, dan kimia. Adapun peralatan LOTO sudah hampir lengkap hanya label atau tagging belum memenuhi standar OSHA yakni belum terbuat dari bahan yang tahan di kondisi lingkungan kerja. Seluruh prosedur LOTO sudah diterapkan dan sesuai dengan standar OSHA sehingga tidak ada kecelakaan kerja akibat pelepasan energi yang tidak terkontrol di PLTU Tanjung Awar-awar Tuban. Perusahaan perlu mengganti label dengan bahan yang lebih tahan lama dan sesuai dengan kondisi di tempat kerja.

Abstract

Campus canteens play a strategic role in supporting health, productivity, and food safety in higher education environments, particularly in Islamic boarding school-based universities where all student activities take place on campus. Initial observations at Darussalam Gontor University indicate that food hygiene and sanitation practices remain suboptimal, characterised by inconsistent use of personal protective equipment (PPE), unhygienic food presentation, limited menu variety, and inadequate waste management. This community service activity aims to improve the knowledge and practices of canteen managers and handlers through mentoring the implementation of the Hygienic and Healthy Canteen (KHAS). The method used is Community-Based Research (CBR) with a participatory mentoring approach for 18 workers, including problem mapping, socialisation and FGD, HSM training, implementation mentoring, and participatory monitoring and evaluation. The results of the activity show improvements in HSM practices at the UNIDA Gontor canteen, including compliance with PPE use, hygienic food presentation, environmental cleanliness, and waste sorting. The most significant change was an increase in knowledge among 100% of workers (from an initial average score of 21.9 to 24.2 out of a total score of 25). The integration of hygiene and sanitation, occupational safety and health, balanced nutrition, environmental management, and halal and thayyib values makes KHAS a sustainable model for Islamic boarding school canteen management with the potential for replication.

Abstract

Introduction: Digital transformation in Occupational Safety and Health Management System (OSHMS) increase management efficiency in workplaces. However, the inconsistent adoption may leave safety performance gaps within industries. The rapid digitalisation dynamics along with the small-moderate industrial level domination in Indonesia, raised a question on how the technological gap impacts occupational safety outcomes. The current research explored digital transformation in OSH systems across industry levels in Indonesia and its correlation with organizational size and digital maturity. Method: A quantitative descriptive design was used to describe the digital transformation implemented in OSHMS among various industrial level across regions in Indonesia. Digital Transformation (DT) maturity measured in 5-point likert scale, while the company size defined in terms of the employee size. The Kendall’s tau-b was used to assess the correlation between the extent of DT and the organizational size. Result: Most of the companies were at level 3 (n=53), followed by level 2 of digital maturity. Level 4 was achieved by large companies (15) and one medium-sized company. Correlation tests indicated a positive but statistically non-significant relationship between company size and DT level (Kendall’s tau-b = 0.334, p = 0.065). Conclussion: The findings suggest the potential level of digital transformation available for OSH systems in Indonesia is high, and can be further developed to bring about a shift to a mid OSH digital transformation maturity level. Although larger companies do correlate with the more frequent use of advanced digital technologies, company size by itself is inadequate as a reason why this is occurring.
