Abstract

Penelitian respons dinamik dan indeks kerentanan seismik sangat penting untuk memperkirakan dampak kerentanan lapisan permukaan dan kerusakan bangunan ketika terjadi gempa bumi.  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi respons dinamik Kecamatan Nambo, Kota Kendari serta menentukan area-area dengan perlapisan tanah yang sangat rentan. Data mikrotremor diolah menggunakan Geopsy 2.0.5 untuk memperoleh kurva HVSR (Horizontal to Vertical Spectral Ratio) serta parameter respons dinamik tanah berupa frekuensi dominan dan faktor amplifikasinya yang digunakan untuk menghitung indeks kerentanan seismik. Nilai frekuensi dominan Kecamatan Nambo berkisar antara 0,7 Hz- 3,63 Hz yang termasuk dalam kategori tanah Tipe II dan III. Area dengan frekuensi rendah menunjukkan penebalan lapisan alluvial yang merupakan produk sedimentasi permukaan. Interpolasi nilai indeks kerentanan seismik (kg) menunjukkan area Kecamatan Nambo yang memiliki kerentanan tinggi meliputi Kelurahan Pentoahan dan Nambo.

Abstract

Baula and Pomalaa Ophiolitic Complexes are part of East Sulawesi Ophiolite (ESO). The ultramafic rocks in the Baula and Pomalaa Ophiolite Complex mainly is peridotite and consist of harzburgite, lherzolite and olivine websterite, mostly serpentinized. Chemical and petrological research has focused on minerals, such as olivine, pyroxene, and spinel. This study examines the tectonic setting and temperature of ultramafic rock formation. Twelve ultramafic rock samples were examined using geothermometers made of pyroxene, petrographic examination, and coexisting olivine and spinel analyses. SEM and petrographic analysis of pyroxene lamellae and mylonite-ultramylonite structures allowed for the measurement of the geothermometer of ultramafic rocks. Using SEM-EDS, the coexistence of olivine and spinel was analyzed to determine the type of ultramafic tectonic setting. In the coexistence of olivine and spinel, olivine and spinel oxide compounds as tectonic setting markers in the form of Fo and Cr# values. Ultramafic rocks have different temperature levels, based on pyroxene thermometer, and the first one starts at a high temperature of 1000-1200ºC. It is characterized by thin, elongated augite lamellae. Instead, large lamellae characterize augite at medium temperatures (800–1000ºC). Irregular, anhedral, and broader forms of enstatite lamellae are typical of low temperatures (500–800ºC). Different generations of exsolution lamellae indicate that magma cooling was gradual. The distribution of #Fo ranged from 0.87 to 0.92, and Cr# values ranged from 0.13-0.19. According to coexisting olivine and spinel analysis. On the Olivine-Spinel Mantle Array (OSMA), the Fo and Cr# plot indicates that the peridotites tectonic setting was from the ocean floor and the magmatism was from MORB (Mid Oceanic Ridge Basalt). The Al2O3 vs. TiO2 pattern in spinel lherzolite also similar with Ampana and Kabaena peridotites magmatism.

Abstract

Disaster management practices are very important in Waworaha Village which is geographically prone to disasters. This service is in the form of assistance for participatory disaster management practices in Waworaha Village which is intended to organize and provide disaster-prone information services, especially related to the preparation of disaster risk assessments, as well as community-based disaster-prone information communication and education in the village and organize and provide disaster prevention and preparedness service activities. Based on the history of disaster events, natural disasters that occur in Waworaha Village are earthquakes. The earthquake disaster risk of Waworah Village is included in the low and medium categories. As a form of prevention and preparedness, a disaster risk reduction forum and local training activities were established. This has made Waworaha Village a disaster resilient village.

Abstract

The inversion of the Rayleigh wave dispersion curve is a crucial step in the multi-channel analysis of surface waves (MASW) method, used to obtain the shear wave velocity (Vs) profile. The nonlinear and multimodal nature of the dispersion curve makes a global optimization approach, such as particle swarm optimization (PSO) and genetic algorithm (GA), the optimal choice for inversion. This study aims to compare the performance of multiple inversions of PSO (MI-PSO) and multiple inversions of GA (MI-GA) in solving the inversion problem of the Rayleigh wave dispersion curve. The test results indicate that the utilized MI-PSO outperforms MI-GA in terms of computational time and accuracy of the obtained model
