Abstract

Kejadian luka bakar akibat sengatan listrik terhitung sekitar 2-3% dari semua luka bakar pada anak-anak yang memerlukan perawatan gawat darurat. Selain itu di Indonesia sekitar 12 anak-anak meninggal dunia akibat listrik setiap tahunnya. Menurut National Fire Protection Association sekitar 2.400 anak-anak menderita trauma berat dan luka bakar akibat tersengat listrik karena mereka memasukkan tangan ke lubang colokan sumber listrik. Kurangnya pengetahuan anak mengenai alat dan bahaya listrik, serta terbatasnya media penunjang yang digunakan untuk sekolah dalam menyampaikan pengetahuan ke anak- anak, maka akan diajukan penelitian berjudul “Media Interaktif Pengenalan Alat dan Bahaya Listrik Berbasis Video Game Edukatif untuk Anak SD”. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis data dengan analisis deskriptif yang dilakuakan dengan validasi ahli materi, media dan minat siswa. Hasil analisis video motion graphics interaktif pengenalan alat dan bahaya listrik dari penilaian ahli materi skor yang diperoleh termasuk kategori layak yang berada pada rentang rata-rata antara 3,5 sampai 3,75, menurut ahli media berada pada rentang rata-rata diatas 3,75 termasuk dalam kategori sangat layak, sedangkan menurut minat siswa media pembelajaran video game edukatif ini termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik berada dalam rentang rata-rata diatas 3,75 selain itu dari kuisoner penilaian tingkat kepahaman siswa diperoleh prosentase 52% siswa paham setelah diberikan media pembelajaran terhadap materi dan media interaktif pengenalan alat dan bahaya listrik berbasis video game edukatif.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe and find out about: 1) the strategies used by village heads in increasing awareness of paying zakat in Sulung village, Sejangkung District with the Zakat Village program, 2) the obstacles faced by village heads in increasing awareness of paying zakat in Sulung village, Sejangkung District. through the Zakat Village program. This research uses a qualitative approach and the type of research used is descriptive. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation. Then the data analysis techniques used in this research are data reduction, data presentation, data verification and drawing conclusions. Meanwhile, techniques for checking the validity of research data use: triangulation, member check. The results of this research show that: 1) The village head's strategy in increasing awareness of paying zakat in Sulung village is by a) the formulation stage related to several preparations that must be made by the village head when implementing a strategy, b) implementation, the village head conveys and implementing the draft strategy that has been made to the community, including implementing the Zakat Village program, c) evaluation, at this stage the village head conveys the results of monitoring that has been carried out by BAZNAS regarding problems or obstacles found during the implementation of the Zakat Village program. 2) Supporting and inhibiting factors for village heads in increasing awareness of paying zakat through the Zakat Village program in Sulung village, Sejangkung subdistrict are, supporting factors include: a) assistance from LAZ (Lembaga Amil Zakat) including educational, economic and health assistance, b) community support local, c) cooperation between regional government and village government. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors include: a) the geographical conditions of Sulung village, b) people who do not fully understand zakat, c) inadequate road access to Sulung village.

Abstract

The current and future job market requires a workforce skilled in data science, including analytical techniques such as clustering. With the development of Industry 4.0, skills in data analysis are becoming increasingly important, and education must adapt to meet this need. Increasing data literacy among vocational school students is very important to prepare them to face a world increasingly dominated by data. Analytical skills help students in solving complex problems and making data-driven decisions. Skills in data science encourage innovation and creativity in various fields. Involvement of students so they can use tools and skills to analyze and understand the world around them through data. Clustering is a technique in data science and statistics that is used to group objects or data points that have similar characteristics into groups or clusters. Objective: To equip students with the skills to analyze and interpret data effectively using clustering techniques and provide a strong foundation for students who are interested in continuing their studies in the field of data science or information technology.

Abstract

Maize is considered an important commodity with promising market prospects. Given the importance of maize, there is a need to increase maize production to meet people's needs and maintain price stability. This study aims to group maize production in Indonesia by region, with the hope of finding areas that have the potential to become maize production centers to reduce dependence on imports. The data used in this research was obtained from the Central Statistics Agency, covering information from 34 provinces during the 2017-2021 period. This analysis uses the K-Means method with the Python programming language. The number of groups is determined using the Elbow Method. The results of this research show that there are three categories of maize production regions: regions with low maize production (below average), regions with medium maize production, and regions with high maize production. A total of 25 provinces are in the low production category, eight provinces are in the medium category, and only East Java is in the high production category.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the difficulties and strategies used by participants in facing the Listening Section of the TOEFL test. The study used a mixed-methods approach, employing a survey and qualitative analysis of twelve respondents who had taken the TOEFL. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed descriptively to illustrate patterns of difficulty and thematically to explain the strategies used by participants.The results showed that the most challenging section was Part C (long conversation), where participants experienced difficulties understanding the academic context and the speaker's pace. The main obstacles included linguistic, psychological, and technical factors. This finding aligns with theories in several referenced TOEFL modules, as well as research by Silviyanti, Rahmadhani, & Samad (2020), which showed a tendency toward the use of form-centric strategies. An article by TST Prep (2024) reinforces these findings by emphasizing the importance of active and contextual listening practice. Therefore, this study concludes that improving TOEFL listening skills requires continuous practice, the application of meaning-based strategies, and the consistent practice of listening to authentic materials.
