Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the Implementation of Slot Board Media in improving the Vocabulary of Grade 1 Students of SD Plus Al-Qodiri Jember 2020-2021 Study Year. The research method used in this research is PTK (classroom action research), which is action research conducted in the classroom with the aim of improving / improving the quality of learning things. The conclusion of the classroom action research that has been carried out is that the research is carried out continuously until the student's score rises above the KKM (70), and the research stops at 2 cycles of the second meeting because the percentage of completeness of grade 1 SD Plus Al-Qodiri students is 86%, so using this slot board media can improve mastery of Indonesian vocabulary in grade I SD Plus Al-Qodiri students. The increase in vocabulary mastery can be seen from the achievement of 86% of the number of students scoring above the KKM 70. The average value of overall learning outcomes both pre-cycle of action and after action can be detailed, namely in the pre-cycle the average value of students 62 with a percentage of completeness of 26.67. And in the second meeting of cycle II, the average student score was 81 with a completion percentage of 86%.

Abstract

Android affects not only the lives of adults, but also the daily lives of elementary school-aged children. This includes how these children behave, act, or think, all of which contribute to the lack of effective interactions between kids and their parents, teachers, friends, peers, and the people around them. In order to describe the effects of Android use on social interaction among fifth grade kids at MIN 5 Jember, the researchers set out to perform this study. With the sort of case study employed in the research, qualitative research techniques were applied. The researcher is a key tool in research, and supporting tools like interview and observation guidelines can help the researcher collect data. Data collection activities are obtained through in-depth interview techniques, observation, and documentation studies. Researchers employed the Miles and Huberman approach, which was completed in four stages, to analyse the data. Source triangulation was employed by the researchers in the interim to ensure the accuracy of the data. The results of the research show that children who use androids excessively can develop ego and individualism. Particularly, lack of responsibility and supervision will have an effect, leading to a lack of direct social interaction, turning children into anti-social and reclusive individuals.

Abstract

Islamic Religious Education is an education aimed at forming a complete Muslim personality, developing human potential both physically and spiritually, and strengthening harmonious relationships between humans, Allah, and the universe. This aligns with the national education goals formulated in Law No. 20 of 2003 on the National Education System, which aims to develop students' potential to become individuals who are faithful and pious to God Almighty, noble, healthy, knowledgeable, skilled, creative, independent, and responsible democratic citizens. However, these noble goals have not been fully implemented optimally in educational units. Therefore, the University of Jember, as one of the public universities that includes Islamic Religious Education as a compulsory general course for Muslim students, must be able to optimize Islamic Religious Education learning to realize these objectives. This research aims to analyze the efforts made by Islamic Religious Education lecturers at the University of Jember to foster students who are faithful, pious, noble, and responsible. The study uses a qualitative approach with data collection methods including interviews, observations, and documentation. The results indicate that optimizing Islamic Religious Education learning requires comprehensive innovation and approaches, including additional lecture hours and supporting extracurricular activities. Pendidikan Agama Islam adalah pendidikan yang bertujuan untuk membentuk pribadi muslim seutuhnya, mengembangkan seluruh potensi manusia baik jasmaniah maupun rohaniah, serta memperkuat hubungan harmonis antara manusia dengan Allah, sesama manusia, dan alam semesta. Hal ini sejalan dengan tujuan pendidikan nasional yang dirumuskan dalam Undang-Undang Nomor 20 Tahun 2003 tentang Sistem Pendidikan Nasional, yaitu mengembangkan potensi peserta didik agar menjadi manusia yang beriman dan bertakwa kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa, berakhlak mulia, sehat, berilmu, cakap, kreatif, mandiri, dan menjadi warga negara yang demokratis serta bertanggung jawab. Namun, tujuan mulia ini belum sepenuhnya diimplementasikan secara optimal di satuan pendidikan. Oleh karena itu, Universitas Jember sebagai salah satu perguruan tinggi negeri yang menempatkan mata kuliah Pendidikan Agama Islam sebagai mata kuliah umum wajib bagi mahasiswa Muslim, harus mampu mengoptimalkan pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam agar tujuan pembelajaran tersebut dapat terwujud. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis upaya yang dilakukan oleh dosen Pendidikan Agama Islam di Universitas Jember dalam mewujudkan mahasiswa yang beriman, bertakwa, berakhlak mulia, dan bertanggung jawab. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa optimalisasi pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam memerlukan inovasi dan pendekatan yang menyeluruh, termasuk penambahan jam perkuliahan dan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler yang mendukung.

Abstract

In the context of Muslims’ life, the teaching of Islamic religion should be the basis of the education system. Islamic boarding school (pesantren) is one form of those Islamic education systems. However, it will be unwise if we depend only on one system, so that we need an integrative system as the Islamic boarding school’s responsibility to society. The Islamic Education curriculum design at Syarifudin Islamic boarding school is designed to fulfill the needs of society while still maintaining the Islamic boarding school characters. The curriculum at the Islamic boarding school is integrated and classified into two types, namely formal education curriculum and Islamic boarding school curriculum or intra and extra-curricular. Moreover, the main content of the curriculum for formal education applies the Integrated Education System between the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Indonesia. Meanwhile, the Islamic basic school (Madrasah Diniyah) uses a classic curriculum of the yellow book (kitab kuning) with Indonesian as the teaching instruction. Dalam konteks kehidupan muslim, pengajaran agama Islam seharusnya menjadi dasar sistem pendidikan. Pesantren adalah salah satu bentuk sistem pendidikan Islam tersebut. Namun, tidak bijaksana jika kita hanya bergantung pada satu sistem, sehingga diperlukan sistem integratif sebagai tanggung jawab pesantren terhadap masyarakat. Desain kurikulum Pendidikan Agama Islam di Pesantren Syarifudin dirancang untuk memenuhi kebutuhan masyarakat sambil tetap mempertahankan karakter pesantren. Kurikulum di pesantren terintegrasi dan diklasifikasikan menjadi dua jenis, yaitu kurikulum pendidikan formal dan kurikulum pesantren atau intra dan ekstrakurikuler. Selain itu, muatan utama kurikulum untuk pendidikan formal menerapkan Sistem Pendidikan Terpadu antara Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kementerian Agama Indonesia. Sementara itu, madrasah diniyah (sekolah dasar Islam) menggunakan kurikulum klasik kitab kuning dengan bahasa Indonesia sebagai bahasa pengantar.

Abstract

This study examines the transformation of the basic education curriculum by integrating local wisdom and global progress. This research stems from the dominance of the current curriculum that emphasizes global aspects and tends to ignore local values . Learning based on local wisdom can strengthen the identity of students and form a character that reflects the culture of the nation. This study uses a qualitative approach and literature, by analyzing documents such as national and international articles and relevant books. The results show that integrating local wisdom and global progress plays an important role in creating a generation that is characterful, competent, and ready to face the challenges of the 21st century. The Integrative Model developed in this study is holistic, contextual, and futuristic and utilizes information and Communication Technology in learning. Educators and policy makers consider this model effective in improving the quality of basic education in Indonesia. This research has implications for the development of a curriculum that is globally relevant and deeply rooted in local cultural values.

Abstract

This research aims to delve into and further analyze the utilization of technology as a means to enhance the effectiveness of classroom management in the environment of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 3 Jember. The methodology employed in this study is qualitative with a case study approach, allowing researchers to thoroughly explore details regarding the use of technology in the context of classroom management. Data collection is conducted through various methods, including observation, interviews, and document analysis, to gain a profound understanding of the optimal implementation of technology in class management. Through this research, it is anticipated that findings will provide in-depth insights and relevant recommendations for stakeholders, with the ultimate goal of improving the quality of education at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 3 Jember. These findings are expected to serve as a foundation for the development of strategies and policies focusing on the enhancement of efficiency and effectiveness in classroom management through technology integration, thereby significantly impacting students' learning experiences and the overall progress of education in the madrasah.
