Abstract

This research aims to enhance students' learning motivation through a self-efficacy approach. The study is conducted as Classroom Action Research (CAR) using the Kemmis and McTaggart model, which comprises four stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. In this model, Kemmis and McTaggart integrate action and observation as a single unit, where observational outcomes serve as a basis for subsequent reflection. Reflections lead to modifications, actualized through further actions and observations in a continuous cycle. This research utilizes both primary and secondary data sources, with secondary data including school documents and archives. Results from the action evaluation in Cycle II indicate that 10 students (30.3%) demonstrated very high self-efficacy, while 24 students (69.7%) exhibited high self-efficacy, and no students were in the very low category. The average self-efficacy score rose from 92.29 in Cycle I to 94.91 in Cycle II, indicating a 2.62-point increase. These findings demonstrate a significant improvement in students' self-efficacy scores, reflecting enhanced learning motivation through this approach.

Abstract

This research reviews the important role of learning evaluation in citizenship education at Al-Hidayah Elementary School, with a focus on increasing students' social awareness. Through a qualitative research approach, this study aims to gain an in-depth understanding of how learning evaluation contributes to the formation of students' social awareness. The qualitative research steps used include data collection through interviews with teachers and students, classroom observations, document analysis, and case studies at SD Al-Hidayah. The research results show that learning evaluation is not only useful for measuring student academic achievement, but also helps in understanding student progress at SD Al-Hidayah in understanding the concepts of citizenship and social values. Through evaluation, teachers can improve teaching, provide relevant feedback to students, and monitor individual and class progress. The results of this research can be a basis for developing more effective learning programs in promoting students' social awareness at Al-Hidayah Elementary School.

Abstract

Globalization has become a phenomenon that dominates the world today, bringing significant changes in various aspects of social, economic and political life throughout the world. One of the impacts that was felt was a shift in awareness of defending the country among the younger generation, including students at the National Development Elementary School. In this study, we explore the influence of globalization on national defense awareness and the role of students in building it. The methodology used in this study is descriptive qualitative, which involves in-depth analysis of the observed phenomena. Through a literature review, we investigate various perspectives on the impact of globalization on national defense awareness, including changes in national values and identity, dependence on other countries, the influence of media and technology, changes in consumption patterns, and challenges to state sovereignty. The results of the analysis show that globalization has complex and varied impacts depending on a country's political, social and cultural context. In the midst of these changes, the citizenship education paradigm in elementary schools plays an important role in building a strong awareness of defending the country. Civic education not only focuses on teaching state doctrine, but also promotes critical, analytical thinking, and a deep understanding of civic values that go beyond the boundaries of doctrine. Students, as potential agents of change in society, have a key role in building awareness of defending the country. Through education, active participation and use of technology, they can become a driving force in strengthening awareness of defending the country amidst the challenges of globalization. Students' contributions are not only limited to the use of weapons, but also through dedication in their profession and active participation in citizenship education. This research underlines the importance of understanding the impact of globalization, updating the paradigm of citizenship education, and empowering students' role in building a strong and relevant national defense awareness in globalization era.

Abstract

Finding out how principals of different schools lead their schools was the driving force for this research. This study used a phenomenological approach to qualitative research. Teachers from SDN 0701 Rotansogo and SDN 0401 Pasar Ujung Batu participated in this study. Observation, interviews, and documentation were the methods utilized to gather data. Data analysis strategies utilizing data reduction, data display, and conclusions. The research found that there are essentially three distinct types of leadership: authoritarian, democratic, and free-form. The principal at SDN 0401 Pasar Ujung Batu and SDN 0701 practices democratic leadership. This can be seen in the principal's decision-making process, which is based on approval and deliberation from subordinates. The principal treats subordinates fairly and does not discriminate based on their backgrounds. The principal listens to criticism, suggestions, and opinions, both during and outside of meetings. They also use subordinates' input to make decisions. Lastly, the principal collaborates with subordinates, as demonstrated by their participation in all school activities. Lastly, the principal has a well-established relationship with their subordinates. Abstract

Students significantly improve their understanding of mathematical topics when they use personalised learning systems powered by artificial intelligence (AI). An effective and tailored learning experience is fostered by AI through its capacity to adjust the learning pace according to each student's degree of comprehension. A survey of AI technology applications is the goal of this research. The limitation in implementing and using AI technology within the framework of mathematics education is the primary challenge that partners are presently encountering. A descriptive analysis based on student surveys is the study approach used. Research objects and related literature are seen, interviewed, and documented as part of the data gathering process. The purpose of doing descriptive analysis on the data acquired is to bolster information that is pertinent, associated, and linked to the research. The study's findings suggest that the following benefits accrue to organisations that are able to make use of AI technology: improved task and role management; enhanced personalised learning and feedback; preparedness to face digital transformation with optimism; and awareness of the significant challenges that lie ahead in the education landscape, particularly in relation to the use of AI in education, including the ethical considerations surrounding its implementation.
