Abstract

This article discusses a comparison of leadership in the context of good and less good schools. Leadership in educational institutions is very important for achieving academic goals and developing student character. However, leadership in good schools, elementary school A and less good elementary school B, has differences in leadership style. This study uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews with school leaders at good schools at elementary school A and less good schools at elementary school B. Data analysis was carried out using the thematic analysis method. The results of the research show that leadership in good schools, Sdn A, is more focused on achieving academic targets, while leadership in less good schools, Sdn B, on the other hand, is not focused on achieving academic targets or anything else. In the context of educational development in Indonesia, this research can provide insight and understanding of the differences in leadership in two different types of educational institutions. It is hoped that the results of this research can provide guidance for leaders of educational institutions in improving the quality of leadership and educational development in Indonesia.

Abstract

In facing the dynamics of the times, the implementation of the Transformational Education Management Model at SMKN 1 Pantai Cermin requires a deep understanding of critical aspects involving educational actors. One solution that attracts attention is the implementation of the Transformational Education Management Model at the level of SMKN 1 Pantai Cermin. This model emphasizes not only on the academic aspect, but also on the development of the student's personality, social skills, and intrinsic motivation necessary for success in life. The purpose of this study is to know implementation of transformational education management model at SMKN 1 Pantai Cermin: challenges and opportunities. This research method uses Descriptive method Analysis with a type of qualitative research, which is a type of research that describes phenomena or facts on the object under study to take the essence of each phenomenon. The results of this study show that The implementation of the Transformational Education Management Model in Senior High School (SMKN 1 Pantai Cermin) has produced promising results, along with an average score of 7.4. Despite the positive achievements, the evaluation shows several areas that need further attention. Increased parental involvement, in particular, is a top priority to ensure the full support of all stakeholders in a student's educational journey. Success in stimulating teacher creativity and student learning interest is a positive point, giving an indication that this model is effective in creating a dynamic learning environment.

Abstract

This research reviews the important role of learning evaluation in citizenship education at Al-Hidayah Elementary School, with a focus on increasing students' social awareness. Through a qualitative research approach, this study aims to gain an in-depth understanding of how learning evaluation contributes to the formation of students' social awareness. The qualitative research steps used include data collection through interviews with teachers and students, classroom observations, document analysis, and case studies at SD Al-Hidayah. The research results show that learning evaluation is not only useful for measuring student academic achievement, but also helps in understanding student progress at SD Al-Hidayah in understanding the concepts of citizenship and social values. Through evaluation, teachers can improve teaching, provide relevant feedback to students, and monitor individual and class progress. The results of this research can be a basis for developing more effective learning programs in promoting students' social awareness at Al-Hidayah Elementary School.

Abstract

This research aims to explore in depth how the performance evaluation of Pelangi Elementary School Civics teachers influences the strengthening of the character of responsibility in students, by adding qualitative research methods. Qualitative research methods were used to gain deeper insight into the experiences and perceptions of teachers and students related to Civics learning and the formation of responsible character. Through qualitative data analysis, this research identifies effective strategies in improving the quality of Civics learning and forming responsible characters in Pelangi Elementary School students. Evaluation of Civics teacher performance includes the teacher's ability to deliver material, interaction with students, and contribution to school development. Strategies for strengthening responsible character include problem-based learning approaches, discussions and debates, positive behavior models, use of technology and media, and extracurricular activities. It is hoped that the results of this research can provide a valuable contribution to the development of citizenship education and character formation of Pelangi Elementary School students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model kooperatif tipe Course Review Horay (CRH) terhadap Kemampuan Berhitung Penjumlahan dan Pengurangan pada Siswa kelas 1 SD Negeri 114345 Gunung Melayu. Penelitian yang digunakan merupakan penelitian kuantitatif, dengan jenis penelitian Quasi Eksperiment dengan desain nonequivalent control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas 1 SD Negeri 114345 Gunung Melayu yang berjumlah 52 orang yang terdiri dari dua kelas yaitu kelas I-A dengan jumlah 27 siswa dan kelas I-B berjumlah 25 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan observasi, wawancara, tes dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas dan uji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan ke arah positif dari penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Course Review Horay (CRH) terhadap kemampuan berhitung penjumlahan dan pengurangan pada siswa kelas 1 SD Negeri 114345 Gunung Melayu.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the Problem-Based Learning model assisted by Google Sites on students' scientific literacy skills by comparing the scientific literacy skills of experimental and control classes at SDN 067251 Medan Deli. This type of research is a quasi-experimental design with Non equivalent Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. In this study, The population was all fifth-grade students, 40 students in total. The instrument used in this study is a science literacy test. The results showed the sig. (2-tailed) 0.00 < 0.05, it means Problem-Based Learning assisted by Google Sites affects students' scientific literacy skills.Keywords: Problem-Based Leraning, Google Sites, Scientific Literacy.

Abstract

The principal's leadership style basically means a manifestation of the behavior of a school principal, which concerns his ability to lead the school. Elementary Schools (SD) are of course part of basic educational institutions to instill values, attitudes and aesthetics so that quality leaders are needed with the right leadership style. Leadership style influences a person's success in the school he leads, especially in influencing the behavior of his subordinates and success is much influenced by leadership style. Apart from that, we should improve and maintain patterns that have been good so far and increase the values ??of a positive leadership style in order to increase achievement motivation and at the same time improve teacher performance.

In implementing research results, leadership training programs to improve quality, increase communication and collaboration, improve resource management systems, and increase innovation and creativity can be carried out as concrete steps to improve the quality of leadership in schools. It is hoped that the results of this research can provide guidance for educational leaders in improving the quality of leadership and educational development in Indonesia in accordance with national education goals.

Abstract

Kehadiran kepala sekolah dalam pelaksanaan pemasaran pendidikan sangat penting dalam merencanakan, melaksanakan dan mengevaluasi program tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melaksanakan evaluasi secara kualitatif bagaimana peran kepala sekolah dalam melaksanakan manajemen pemasaran penididkan di taman kanak-kanak. Ditemukan dalam penelitian ini bahwa kepala sekolah dalam mempersiapkan, melaksanakan dan mengevaluasi ketercapaian pemasaran pendidikan, diantaranya didasari oleh pemahaman kepala sekolah perihal karakteristik masyarakat yang ada di sekitar sekolah.

This article explores the comprehensive strategies implemented by MTs. Swasta Nurul Iman Tanjung Morawa to achieve educational excellence and accreditation. The school's approach encompasses leadership and vision, curriculum enhancement, faculty development, student engagement, community involvement, infrastructure improvement, quality assurance, data-driven decision making, extracurricular activities, and partnerships. Leadership provides strategic direction, aligning goals with accreditation standards. Curriculum enhancement ensures relevance and quality of educational experiences. Faculty development fosters professional growth through training and support. Student engagement promotes holistic development and a supportive learning community. Community involvement leverages stakeholder support and resources. Infrastructure improvements create conducive learning environments. A rigorous quality assurance system monitors and enhances educational practices, informed by data-driven decision making. Extracurricular activities enrich student experiences beyond academics. Partnerships with stakeholders and networks enhance resources and professional development. These initiatives underscore MTs.
