Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of multimedia-based learning media using powerpoint on the learning outcomes of elementary school students. This type of research is R&D (Research and Development). The method used by the researchers was the Barg and Gall model (1potency and problem, 2 data collection, 3 product design, 4 design validation, 5design revision, 6 product trials, 7 product revisions, 8 discharging trials, 9product revisions, 10mass production). This research is specifically to see the effectiveness of multimedia-based learning media using powerpoint. The results of the effectiveness of multimedia-based learning media using powerpoint from the N-Gain score obtained a score of 0.74%. So that it can be concluded that the use of multimedia-based learning learning media using powerpoints in the high category and is effective for improving the learning outcomes of elementary school students.

Abstract

Education is a key factor in improving individuals' quality of life and thinking abilities. However, there are still many challenges in implementing effective learning models, especially at the elementary school level. This study aims to explore and compare the influence of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model and the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model, supported by diorama media, on students' creative thinking abilities. This research employed an experimental method with a quasi-experimental nonequivalent control group design, involving 44 fourth-grade elementary school students, divided into Class IVA (21 students) and Class IVB (23 students). Data were collected through essay tests consisting of 10 questions about animal life cycles. The research instruments included question sheets and observation sheets. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive and inferential statistics, including normality tests, variance homogeneity tests, and t-tests. The results showed that the PjBL model was more effective in improving creative thinking skills, with an average score of 75.86 compared to CTL, which only reached 67.14. This study concludes that implementing the PjBL model with the support of diorama media can enrich the learning experience and stimulate students' creativity. The implication of this interactive and collaborative learning model is an increase in student engagement and motivation in the learning process.

Abstract

Peran guru sebagai teladan memiliki urgensi yang tinggi dalam membangun budaya positif di lingkungan sekolah dasar karena siswa pada tahap perkembangan usia dini cenderung meniru perilaku orang dewasa di sekitarnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana guru berperan sebagai teladan dalam membentuk sikap, perilaku, dan nilai positif di sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi yang melibatkan lima guru dan tiga puluh siswa kelas V di salah satu sekolah dasar negeri. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru yang konsisten dalam memberikan contoh perilaku disiplin, tanggung jawab, dan kepedulian sosial mampu menciptakan iklim sekolah yang kondusif serta menumbuhkan budaya positif seperti kerja sama, saling menghargai, dan kepedulian antar siswa. Selain itu, guru yang menjadi teladan juga meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa dalam kegiatan pembelajaran dan menekan perilaku menyimpang di sekolah. Dengan demikian, peran guru sebagai teladan sangat krusial dalam menciptakan budaya positif yang berkelanjutan di sekolah dasar, sehingga perlu diperkuat melalui peningkatan kompetensi profesional dan karakter guru.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak penggunaan gadget terhadap kemampuan konsentrasi belajar siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif deskriptif dengan melibatkan siswa kelas V sebagai responden. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa kuesioner dan observasi perilaku belajar siswa selama proses pembelajaran berlangsung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi intensitas penggunaan gadget yang bersifat non-edukatif, maka semakin rendah kemampuan konsentrasi belajar siswa. Siswa yang menggunakan gadget lebih dari dua jam per hari memiliki tingkat fokus yang lebih rendah dibandingkan siswa yang menggunakan gadget kurang dari satu jam. Dengan demikian, penggunaan gadget perlu diarahkan secara terkontrol dan diawasi oleh orang tua serta guru agar teknologi dapat dimanfaatkan secara positif sebagai media pembelajaran yang efektif dalam meningkatkan kualitas fokus belajar siswa sekolah dasar.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of multisensory strategies on the early writing skills of elementary school students using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. The multisensory strategy integrates visual, audit ory, and kinesthetic stimulation to facilitate a deeper underst anding of writing concepts. The literature analyzed was obtained from reputable sources such as Google Scholar, DOAJ, and Scopus, with a publication range from 2015 to 2025. The synthesis results show that the implementation of multisensory strategies has a positive impact on improving early writing skills, particularly in fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and phonemic awareness. The most effective strategies are visual-kinesthetic and visual-auditory combinations, as they activate more sensory pathways in the learning process. Additionally, the use of interactive digital media, such as multisensory-based tablet applications, also enhances student engagement and motivation in learning to write. However, the implementation of this strategy still faces challenges, such as time constraints, learning resources, and teacher competencies in designing multisensory-based activities. Therefore, to optimize the effectiveness of this strategy, continuous teacher training and adequate institutional support are necessary. Thus, multisensory strategies should be integrated continuously into the basic literacy curriculum to have an optimal impact on the development of elementary students' writing skills.

Abstract

This study looks into how different teaching methods are used in mixed-ability elementary school classrooms and how these methods affect how motivated students feel and how well they learn. Different teaching methods are seen as a great way to help students with different skills, especially in classrooms where students come from various backgrounds and have different needs. The research involved a Systematic Literature Review, using information from Google Scholar and Scopus, and focusing on articles published from 2017 to 2023. The findings show that using these different teaching methods can boost student motivation since it gives them learning experiences that fit their personal skills better. This personalized learning also leads to better learning results in mixed-ability classrooms. Still, there are some problems with using these methods, like not having enough time, resources, and teachers being ready to use this approach properly. This study highlights how important it is for teachers to get training and support from schools to make the use of different teaching methods in mixed-ability classrooms work better. This research is meant to help create more inclusive learning that meets the needs of students in Indonesia.
