Abstract

AbstractThe beginning of the 20th century is the starting point of Islamic transformation in Indonesia. Various changes and renewal of social, economic, cultural, political to religious that appear massively like mushrooms in the rainy season. This is what is often called the culmination of modernization of Islam. In a vibrant atmosphere that is K.H. Mas Abdurrahman was present on the Indonesian history stage by contributing his energy, thought and spirit. K.H. Mas Abdurahman is a famous scholar in Banten. He initiated the establishment of the Mathla'ul Anwar madrasah, which then made the educational institution grow rapidly.Keywords: K.H. Mas Abdurahman, renewal, Banten

Abstract

This article discusses the work of KH Irsyad Djuwaeli in leading the Mathla'ul Anwar organization in Indonesia. The research method used is literature study with a historical approach. The results of the research are that KH Irsyad Djuwaeli is trying to maintain the Mathla'ul Anwar Organization to focus on da'wah, education and social affairs. In the field of education, KH Irsyad Djuwaeli built and rehabilitated existing madrasah buildings, such as building the Mathla'ul Anwar College of Economics and the Mathla'ul Anwar Religious Madrasah Aliyah. In the social sector, KH Irsyad Djuwaeli has a paradise grant program and a foster parent program. In the organizational sector, several autonomous institutions and supporting institutions were established, such as Muslimat Mathla'ul Anwar, Mathla'ul Anwar Young Generation, Mathla'ul Anwar Legal Assistance and Consultation Institute, Cooperative Development Institute, and the Hajj and Umrah Guidance Institute.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the efforts made by the South Sumatra Ulu Script Lovers' Association in introducing the Ulu Script to the public through the creative industry, specifically batik. The research used a case study research method, conducted over four months, with the primary data source being the Ulu script. The motivation for this research is the limited public knowledge about the Ulu script and the innovative approach taken by the South Sumatra Ulu Script Lovers' Association in introducing the script through batik. The findings of the study are as follows: First, the South Sumatra Ulu Script Lovers' Association introduced the Ulu Script through the creative industry, namely batik. Second, the community was introduced to the Ulu script through learning and developing the script. Third, the community was introduced to natural dyes for creating batik motifs derived from the Ulu script. Fourth, the batik motifs based on the Ulu script included the Ulu Bunga Enim Motif, the Ulu Kujur Motif, the Ulu Komering Dam Bridge Motif, the Ulu Duku Komering Tree Motif, the Ulu Ampera Bridge Motif, and the Ulu Dragon Motif.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan penerjemahan Al- Qur’an Metode Tarjim bagi santri Pondok Pesantren Roudlotul Qurro. Masalah utama yang dihadapi oleh mitra pengabdian kepada masyarakat (santri) adalah kurangnya pemahaman terhadap makna ayat-ayat yang dihapalkannya, karena santri hanya ditekankan pada proses penghapalan Al-Qur’an. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah observasi lapangan dan pelatihan. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah santri memiliki pemahaman tentang teori penerjemahan Al-Qur’an dan mampu mempraktekkannya. Hasil dari evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman dan kemampuan santri dalam menerjemahkan Al-Qur’an dapat membantu memperkuat hafalan Al-Qur’an.

Abstract

This article analyzes the interaction between teachers and students through the story of This study examines pedagogical transformation through a critical perspective, focusing on the deconstruction of marginalization mechanisms in contemporary education systems. Through the method of critical content analysis of academic documentation for the 2020-2024 period, the research explores how reproductive pedagogical practices limit students' subjectivity. Paulo Freire's theoretical framework of critical consciousness is used to dismantle hidden power relations in educational institutions. Studies show that education is not just a transmission of knowledge, but a complex arena of ideological battle. The research proposes the pedagogic of love and the dialogical approach as liberation strategies, in which teachers and students are equally involved in the construction of knowledge. Key recommendations include the deconstruction of an exclusive curriculum, the development of a pedagogical model that respects subjective experience, and the development of an inclusive institutional culture. The contribution of the research lies in providing an alternative conceptual framework that positions education as a transformative practice that dismantles the mechanisms of systemic oppression.

Abstract

This study explores the educational contributions and intellectual legacy of Kiai Hasan Maolani, a prominent Islamic scholar who lived during the Dutch colonial era in Kuningan Regency, West Java. The research centers on his biography and his significant role as both a religious and educational figure, whose influence extended beyond regional boundaries, attracting students from Central and East Java. Employing a historical method that integrates heuristics, source criticism, interpretation, and historiography, this study utilizes both primary and secondary sources to reconstruct his educational activities. The findings reveal that Kiai Hasan Maolani founded Pesantren Lengkong, which emerged as a vital institution for Islamic religious education and intellectual development. Through this pesantren, he implemented a holistic educational philosophy encompassing key concepts such as the pursuit of knowledge (thalabul 'ilm), worship (ibadah), Islamic monotheism (tawhid), social cohesion through visits and religious networking (silaturahmi and ziyarah), charitable practices (amal), and spiritual struggle (jihad). The research concludes that Kiai Hasan Maolani’s educational model not only shaped the intellectual character of his time but also laid the foundation for a resilient pesantren-based learning tradition in West Java.

Abstract

Abstract

Peningkatan kualitas sumber daya manusia merupakan prasyarat utama untuk mewujudkan negara yang maju, kuat, dan sejahtera. Pendidikan berperan penting dalam membentuk sumber daya manusia yang kompeten. Dalam konteks ini, guru sebagai salah satu pelaku utama pendidikan memiliki peran krusial dalam keberhasilan proses pembelajaran di sekolah. Guru bertanggung jawab dalam membantu perkembangan peserta didik untuk mencapai tujuan pendidikan dan kehidupan mereka secara optimal di masa depan. Pemahaman yang baik tentang teori dan implementasi pembelajaran pengelolaan kelas sangat diperlukan untuk menciptakan suasana belajar yang aktif dan menyenangkan. Pengelolaan kelas mencakup pengaturan kelas, fasilitas fisik, rutinitas, serta berbagai komponen pembelajaran lainnya. Tujuan dari pengelolaan kelas adalah menciptakan dan mempertahankan kondisi kelas yang kondusif sehingga proses belajar mengajar dapat berlangsung secara efektif dan efisien.Taman Pendidikan al-Qur’an (TPQ) Al-Ihsan dan guru-guru TPQ se Kecamatan Padakembang, Tasikmalaya, Jawa Barat, merupakan bagian dari stakeholders yang bertanggung jawab dalam pembelajaran di lembaga mereka. TPQ berperan penting dalam membentuk generasi qur’ani yang berakhlak mulia. Oleh karena itu, guru-guru TPQ perlu memahami dan mampu mengimplementasikan manajemen pengelolaan kelas agar dapat menciptakan generasi qur’ani yang berkualitas di masa depan.
