Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi sikap mahasiswa terhadap pembelajaran matematika berbasis proyek dengan pendekatan kuantitatif melalui metode survey. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 45 mahasiswa, dengan 11 laki-laki dan 34 perempuan. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket dengan Skala Likert yang terdiri dari 15 item. Data yang dikumpulkan kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji-t. Hasil analisis menunjukkan nilai korelasi sebesar 0.426, dengan nilai signifikansi (sig) sebesar 0.679. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan signifikan dalam sikap mahasiswa terhadap pembelajaran matematika berbasis proyek sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan eksplorasi sikap. Implikasi penelitian ini memberikan wawasan yang relevan dalam pengembangan metode pembelajaran matematika yang efektif, sementara saran untuk penelitian selanjutnya mencakup eksplorasi faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi sikap mahasiswa secara lebih mendalam.Abstract: This research aims to explore students' attitudes towards project-based mathematics learning using a quantitative approach through a survey method. The research subjects consist of 45 students, comprising 11 males and 34 females. The instrument employed is a Likert scale questionnaire comprising 15 items. The collected data were then analyzed using a t-test. The analysis results indicated a correlation value of 0.426, with a significance value (sig) of 0.679. These findings suggest that there is no significant difference in students' attitudes towards project-based mathematics learning before and after attitude exploration. The implications of this study provide relevant insights into the development of effective mathematics learning methods, while suggestions for future research involve exploring factors that influence students' attitudes more comprehensively.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi efektivitas implementasi peta konsep dalam meningkatkan pemahaman mahasiswa terhadap statistika pendidikan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif deskriptif dengan melibatkan 44 mahasiswa sebagai subjek penelitian. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan meliputi lembar penilaian peta konsep serta observasi di dalam kelas untuk memperoleh data yang komprehensif. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji-t untuk mengukur hubungan antara implementasi peta konsep dan peningkatan pemahaman mahasiswa terhadap statistika pendidikan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan adanya nilai korelasi yang signifikan sebesar 22.268 dengan nilai signifikansi 0.000. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan peta konsep dapat memberikan kontribusi yang signifikan dalam meningkatkan pemahaman mahasiswa terhadap materi statistika pendidikan. Penelitian ini memberikan pemahaman yang lebih dalam tentang manfaat peta konsep dalam konteks pembelajaran statistika pendidikan di lingkungan akademik. Implikasi dari hasil penelitian ini dapat menjadi landasan bagi pengembangan strategi pembelajaran yang lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman mahasiswa terhadap mata kuliah statistika pendidikan. Penelitian lanjutan dapat dilakukan untuk mengeksplorasi lebih lanjut faktor-faktor lain yang memengaruhi efektivitas penggunaan peta konsep dalam pembelajaran.Abstract: The study aims to explore the effectiveness of implementing concept maps in enhancing students' understanding of educational statistics. A quantitative descriptive method was utilized involving 44 students as research subjects. Research instruments included concept map assessment sheets and classroom observations to obtain comprehensive data. Data analysis was conducted using t-tests to measure the relationship between concept map implementation and the improvement of students' understanding of educational statistics. The analysis results indicated a significant correlation value of 22.268 with a significance value of 0.000. These findings suggest that the use of concept maps can significantly contribute to enhancing students' understanding of educational statistics material. This research provides a deeper understanding of the benefits of concept maps in the context of educational statistics learning in academic settings. The implications of these research findings can serve as a basis for developing more effective learning strategies to enhance students' understanding of educational statistics courses. Further research could explore other factors influencing the effectiveness of concept map utilization in learning.

Abstract

There have been many applications of card-based learning methods in education, one of which is in mathematics lessons. However, no one has discussed more specifically the impact of card-based learning methods with many variations, such as making math, card sorting, index cards, flashcards and other cards in mathematics lessons. This research aims to analysed how card-based learning methods significantly impact mathematics learning. The methods used in this research are quantitative and meta-analysis. Data sources are research results relevant to the research topic and meet the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Data were analysed using JASP software by inputting Effect Size (ES) and Standard Error (SE) values. The data collection method uses a literature study. The cumulative data analysis of the card-based learning method showed many variations in mathematics learning, totalling 68%. The analysis results based on the type of card that has the highest influence on mathematics learning is card sort, with a percentage of 73% in the medium category. These results show that the card-based method significantly impacts mathematics learning. So, the results of this research can be used as a reference for applying card-based methods in mathematics lessons.
