Abstract

The purpose of this research is to investigate, test, and analyze the impact of occupational health, safety, and supervision on the performance of ship crew employees at PT. Pan Maritime Wira Pawitra. This research follows an associative approach with a quantitative method. The sample consists of 70 employees and crew members of PT. Pan Maritime Wira Pawitra, using a population sampling technique. Data was collected using a validated and reliable questionnaire. Multiple regression analysis was employed for data analysis. The findings of this study indicate that occupational health, safety, and supervision have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Specifically, occupational health and safety positively and significantly affect employee performance. This is evident from the calculated t-value of 3.876, which is greater than the t-table value of 1.668. Moreover, the significance value (sig.) is 0.00, which is less than 0.05 (0.00 < 0.05). On the other hand, supervision has a positive but not very significant effect on employee performance. The calculated t-value of 0.21 is greater than 0.05, and the significance value is 0.21, also greater than 0.05. In conclusion, occupational health, safety, and supervision have a positive and significant impact on the performance of ship crew employees at PT. Pan Maritime Wira Pawitra. The F-value of 45.833 is greater than the F-table value of 3.13, and the significance value is 0.000, which is less than 0.05 (0.000 < 0.05), as obtained from the coefficient of determination results.

Abstract

This study aims to test and analyze the effect of machine maintenance and raw material inventory on the smooth production process at PT. Indometal Sedjati. This study employs an associative research approach, utilizing a quantitative method. Data collection is done through a questionnaire, incorporating both primary and secondary data. The research population consists of 100 respondents, with a non-probability sampling technique being employed. Data analysis includes validity test analysis, reliability test, classic assumption test, multiple linear regression test, and hypothesis testing, utilizing SPSS Version 22 software. The results of this study indicate that partially machine maintenance has a positive and significant effect on the smooth running of the production process with a tvalue of 5.049 > 1.660 and a significance value of 0.000 <0.05, raw material inventory has a positive and significant effect on the smooth running of the production process with a tvalue of 5.006 > 1.660 and a significance value of 0.000 <0.05. In the F test, if the significant value is 0.000, then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. This indicates that machine maintenance and raw material inventory have a significant effect on the production process. The fvalue is 108.520, which is greater than 3.09, and the significant value is less than 0.05.

Abstract

In today's digital age, technology advancements have transformed how consumers buy airline tickets, with facilitating conditions, Electronic Word of Mouth (EWOM), and trust playing pivotal roles in the decision-making process. Understanding these factors through the UTAUT can help airlines and travel agencies enhance their digital platforms and marketing strategies. The study aims to determine the effect of technology acceptance (UTAUT) variables, namely performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, facilitating conditions, Electronic Words of Mouth (EWOM), and trust, in the decision to purchase airline tickets online in Indonesia. The study used a purposive sampling technique and structural equation modelling to test the research hypothesis. This study used an online research questionnaire survey technique for 253 respondents. The results of the study show that the UTAUT dimension performance expectancy with t-statistic 2.207>1.96, effort expectancy (2.068>1.96), facilitating condition (2.085>1.96), and EWOM (2.348>1.96) influence online ticket purchase decisions. The social influence dimension doesn’t influence purchase decisions with t-statistics 0.618<1.96. The study also found that Trust mediates the relationship between performance expectancy with coefficient score (0.061), effort expectancy (0.044), facilitating conditions (0.054), and EWOM (0.042) on purchasing decisions

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of the queuing system and supervision on service quality in Jakarta MRT transportation. This research is quantitative research. Data for this research was gathered from interviews, direct requests from relevant companies, and secondary sources like government publications, company records, media analysis, and websites. The study's population included MRT Jakarta transportation users over a one-week period, and the sample consisted of 50 customers selected using Systematic Random Sampling. Data was collected through questionnaires and interviews and analyzed using statistical analysis with SPSS application. The results of this study are as follows: there is an influence between the queuing system and service quality, there is an influence between supervision and service quality partially, and there is an effect between the queuing system and supervision on the quality of service simultaneously 78.2%, while the remaining 21.8% is influenced by other variables.

Abstract

The management of zakat in Indonesia has experienced significant growth, particularly in terms of reporting that aligns with both sharia and government regulations. The National Amil Zakat Institution Baitul Maal Hidayatullah (BMH) plays an important role in the distribution of zakat funds, contributing to social welfare. However, the challenge in measuring the performance of non-profit organizations often centers on financial aspects, making a more comprehensive approach necessary. This study aims to analyze the performance of BMH in managing Zakat, Infaq, and Sadaqah (ZIS) funds using the Balanced Scorecard method, which enables evaluation from multiple perspectives, including financial, operational, and service. The research methodology used is a qualitative approach, collecting primary data through interviews with BMH management leaders and direct observation of zakat management practices. Secondary data were also obtained from BMH’s internal documents and reports. The analysis was conducted using the Balanced Scorecard framework to assess the institution's overall performance. The results show that BMH has demonstrated good performance in managing ZIS, with positive scores in various evaluated perspectives. However, some areas need improvement, such as strengthening social legitimacy and improving program management. This study recommends strategic steps to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of zakat management, and to reinforce BMH’s position as a trusted amil institution in society.

Abstract

Management risk in cooking oil industry is important. This paper to analyze various risks faced by the palm oil-based cooking oil industry in the Maloy Batuta Trans Kalimantan Special Economic Zone (KEK MBTK), Kutai Timur, East Kalimantan, and to formulate mitigation strategies to support the sustainability of the area. The risks examined include fluctuations in Crude Palm Oil (CPO) prices, infrastructure limitations, environmental pressures, regulatory uncertainties, and social conflicts. The research employs a qualitative descriptive approach, collecting data through interviews, literature reviews, and document analysis. The findings indicate that infrastructure improvements, the adoption of environmentally friendly technologies, product diversification, and community involvement are key strategies for addressing these risks. The study concludes that an integrated risk management approach is crucial to enhancing the competitiveness of the cooking oil industry in KEK MBTK while fostering sustainable economic growth in Kutai Timur.

Abstract

The community service aims to provide digital marketing training to MSME entrepreneurs in South Tangerang so that they can utilize social media more effectively. The training seeks to introduce marketing techniques using platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok, as well as building brand engagement with customers. In this program, the techniques applied included supervising, interviewing, and providing tutorial-based training and visualization to enhance participants' knowledge on how to create engaging materials and online promotion strategies.   The data collected showed a significant improvement in participants' understanding, as seen in the results of the pre-test and post-test, with an average increase in score of 30 points per region. In addition, the training successfully increased social media engagement by 40% and online transactions between 20%-30%, proving the effectiveness of using social media in expanding the market reach of MSMEs. Nevertheless, challenges such as limited infrastructure and internet access remains an obstacle that needs to be overcome to ensure the sustainability of this program.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to examine how compensation and transformational leadership influence employees' intent to leave their jobs and how this affects their performance at PT Waskita Beton Precast Tbk. The research in this study utilizes a method of exploration with a numerical perspective to investigate how compensation and leadership impact turnover intention and performance among employees of PT Waskita Beton Precast Tbk. The information was gathered by distributing surveys to 240 participants chosen intentionally, and it was analyzed using SEM-PLS. Findings indicated that compensation and leadership have a moderate impact on employee productivity, with turnover intention playing a role as an intermediary, despite its limited effect on turnover intention and performance. On the employee performance variable, the R² value is 38.1%, which indicates that compensation and transformational leadership have a moderate influence on employee performance. For the turnover intention variable, the R² only reached 1.5%, which indicates a weak influence. The structural model used shows that turnover intentions act as a weak mediator of the effect of compensation and transformational leadership on employee performance. Further evaluation shows that the model has little GoF (Goodness of Fit), with a Q² value for employee performance of 20.5% and for turnover intentions of 0.4%, indicating that the model has limited predictive relevance.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas aplikasi Merchant Apps My Pertamina dalam mendukung pengawasan distribusi LPG 3kg bersubsidi di wilayah Jakarta Selatan agar subsidi dapat tersalurkan dengan tepat sasaran. Program subsidi LPG 3kg dirancang untuk membantu rumah tangga berpenghasilan rendah serta pelaku usaha mikro. Namun, pelaksanaan kebijakan ini masih menghadapi berbagai kendala, seperti distribusi yang kurang optimal, penyalahgunaan subsidi, dan alokasi kuota yang tidak sesuai kebutuhan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif, di mana data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dengan agen, pangkalan, dan konsumen akhir. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi ini berkontribusi positif terhadap peningkatan transparansi dan efisiensi distribusi LPG 3kg. Aplikasi memungkinkan pencatatan transaksi secara real-time, mempermudah pengawasan stok, dan memperbaiki proses verifikasi konsumen melalui integrasi data. Meski demikian, terdapat beberapa kendala yang menghambat efektivitasnya, seperti koneksi internet yang tidak stabil, minimnya edukasi pengguna, dan keterbatasan kuota distribusi. Untuk meningkatkan efektivitas distribusi, diperlukan penguatan pengawasan rantai pasok, pengembangan fitur aplikasi, serta peningkatan infrastruktur digital. Secara keseluruhan, aplikasi ini memiliki potensi besar dalam memastikan distribusi LPG 3kg lebih tepat sasaran, mendukung tujuan kebijakan subsidi, dan meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat yang membutuhkan.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of machine maintenance and layout on the production process at PT. Indonesian Packaging Creations. The research method used is a quantitative approach with an associative research design. Data was collected through a questionnaire distributed to 50 respondents who were employees at the company. Data analysis was carried out using multiple linear regression to test the hypothesis that had been formulated. The research results show that machine maintenance has a positive, but not significant, influence on the production process, with a regression coefficient of 0.019 and a significance of 0.738. On the other hand, layout is proven to have a significant influence on the production process, with a regression coefficient of 0.883 and a significance value of 0.000. The simultaneous test shows that the two independent variables have a significant effect on the production process, with a calculated F value of 84.82. This research emphasizes the importance of optimal machine maintenance and efficient layout design to improve the smoothness of the production process. This research provides recommendations for management of PT. Kreasi Kemas Indonesia to implement a better maintenance system and redesign the factory layout to support operational efficiency.
