Abstract

The differences in resident backgrounds are a challenge for counselors and social workers who working in the rehabilitation of drug abuse. Residents with different backgrounds have different potentials. The potential difference is due to the uneven level of education in society, especially in the lower-middle class. Counselors and social workers must be able to explore and develop the potential of each resident so that after they finish from rehabilitation, they can survive in the community and society will no longer consider them as trash. This can be realized by giving full attention by the counselor to the resident during the rehabilitation process.

Abstract

Drug problems have a fairly broad scope and are always related to various aspects such as medical aspects and mental health aspects. By using drugs, a person's personality is damaged in the family structure, social and religious environment. It can be seen from the age group, in drug use which until now has penetrated all circles, whether it is an early age, teenagers or adults. In general, drug addicts are far from being religious, so they do not even know which one to do. what is bad and what is good, what is useful and which is harmful. As for most of them, they only know God and their religion, but do not do what is commanded in their religion, so they fall into the valley of drugs. From the results of research conducted, most of the residents really are far from understanding religion. Thus, the existence of religious guidance for residents can fortify and equip themselves to live a more focused life with the religious guidance, such as the lecture method and the Koran. Religious guidance can be carried out properly and run as expected if the residents have great initiates in themselves to seek religious knowledge. In the application of this guidance, it is carried out according to the circumstances and conditions of the resident. As residents hope that the services provided can change themselves for the better and in accordance with the lives of people in general.

Abstract

Following the drug rehabilitation process is not everyone's dream, but unlike those who are already tired of their addiction, a rehabilitation center is the final choice to get out of addiction. This journal discusses the process of what activities are contained in one of the drug rehabilitation centers in the city of Medan, using the therapeutic community method in the rehabilitation process and how a drug addict can escape from the trap of opium and become a new person when completing the rehabilitation process. As well as the recovery programs provided by the center. The writing of this journal uses a casework method that emphasizes direct research on the object under study. Coupled with a mini project that involves a resident in the recovery proces.

Abstract

Elderly is someone aged ≥ 60 years, who has decreased ability to adapt to their environment and is powerless to meet their daily needs alone. The elderly often experience various kinds of problems caused by various factors such as very serious economic, social, health, psychological and physical factors. The inability of the elderly to do things related to work causes the elderly to experience a decrease in income, even though many of the elderly are still productive and can play an active role in society. Responsive steps for the welfare of the elderly are inseparable from various factors, both from the elderly themselves, the family environment, society and the government. In Law no. 13 of 1998 explained that the elderly have the right to improve their welfare, namely to get social protection and social assistance. Providing social assistance and social protection can increase dignity, self-confidence and reduce the burden on elderly families. Welfare of the elderly can be done in orphanages or non-orphanages. To increase activity and social interaction among the elderly in practicum activities, I use the stages used in social intervention at the mezzo level, which are group work stages consisting of the assessment stage, the program planning stage, the intervention stage, the evaluation stage, and the termination stage.

Abstract

Positive learning experiences stem from active engagement with lessons and greater interaction in learning activities. Play is also important for development because it contributes to the cognitive, physical, social and emotional well-being of children. Therefore the method of learning while playing is a good learning method and can be applied to learning mathematics. The purpose of this Field Work Practice is to motivate children in learning, especially in mathematics. The use of learning while playing methods like this can increase children's interest in learning so they don't feel bored and have more fun when learning math. The intervention used in this practicum activity is a mezzo intervention using the group work method through general or general stages which consist of; Engagement Intake Contract, Assessment, Planning, Intervention, Evaluation, and ending with Termination.

Abstract

Covid-19 pandemic as a deadly epidemic that has spread since 2020 has affected various aspects of human life. Various policies to prevent the spread of this epidemic have affected the activities of tourism business. The biggest impact is the decline in the income of businessmen, due to the drastic drop of tourist visits. Tourism businessmen have to find ways to cope and adapt themselves during this pandemic, and this method is called as adaptive strategy. This study aims to find out about businessmen’s strategies in Sidamanik Tea Garden tourist area to survive during the Pandemic. The method used is descriptive research wtih qualitative approach. The results of this study indicate that tourism businessmen apply several adaptive strategy, namely active strategy is done by working part-times, and involve the family members to increase the income. The passive strategy is done by implementing a frugal lifestyle, reducing the expenditures. The network strategy is done by lending money from relatives, and utilizing assistance programs by the government.

Abstract

Honest behavior is behavior that reflects generosity and loyalty, because by saying and behaving honestly someone will be respected by others. However, lately honest attitudes and behavior have begun to be rarely seen, especially in children. Practicing honesty in children from an early age needs to be done so that later children can grow into good personalities and can be trusted by everyone. Not all things that make children lie are bad things. Sometimes, children can lie because they cannot distinguish between what is true and what is not. In addition, children may also lie for several reasons, namely feeling afraid of being punished, avoiding work or obligations, seeking attention, trying to get something they want. , Fear of disappointing others. There are several impacts that can be received if a child is used to telling dishonest things, namely, by telling dishonest things it will become a bad habit, will be shunned by other people, will always feel suspected, will be shunned and disliked by others. In addition, there are also several tactics or ways so that children can say and behave honestly, including by explaining the good when telling the truth and the bad when saying dishonestly, admonishing in a subtle way, form their mindset, respect the honesty conveyed, teach them to always be grateful. There are several stages carried out in this study including, the Intake Case Stage, the Member Selection Stage, the Assessment and Intervention Planning Stage, the Group Development Stage, and the Evaluation and Termination Stage.

Abstract

Solidaritas sosial mengacu pada rasa persatuan dan kerja sama yang ada dalam suatu kelompok atau masyarakat. Ini adalah nilai penting karena membantu menciptakan rasa memiliki dan saling mendukung dalam suatu komunitas. Dalam konteks Serikat Tolong Menolong III B Cambahan, nilai-nilai solidaritas sosial dapat diwujudkan melalui upaya organisasi untuk saling membantu dan mendukung pada saat dibutuhkan. Ini dapat melibatkan pemberian bantuan keuangan, fisik, atau dukungan emosional kepada anggota masyarakat. Nilai-nilai solidaritas sosial juga dapat ditunjukkan melalui upaya organisasi untuk mendorong kerja sama dan kolaborasi antar anggota masyarakat, serta upayanya untuk mempromosikan keadilan dan kesetaraan sosial. Secara keseluruhan, nilai-nilai solidaritas sosial memainkan peran penting dalam mempromosikan rasa persatuan dan kerja sama dalam komunitas dan dapat membantu menciptakan masyarakat yang lebih kuat dan kohesif.. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan tahapan wawancara dan observasi langsung. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Serikat Tolong Menolong III B Cambahan memberikan manfaat besar bagi anggotanya terutama dalam memberikan rasa aman ketika ada keluarga yang meninggal dunia.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang kasus pelecehan seksual pada anak memang semakin marak terjadi di Indonesia. Oleh karena itu diperlukannya perhatian khusus untuk mencegah terjadinya pelecehan seksual pada anak di Indonesia. Seperti yang dilakukan oleh Dinas Pemberdayaan Perempuan dan Perlindungan Anak,Pengendalian Penduduk dan Keluarga Berencana (P3APPKB) Kota Bukittinggi dengan melakukan upaya untuk mencegah meningkatnya kasus pelecehan seksual pada anak dengan cara melakukan edukasi melalui agenda sosialisasi pencegahan pelecehan seksual pada anak di Kota Bukittinggi. Sosialisasi ini melibatkan anak-anak di Kota Bukittinggi secara langsung dengan mengundang anak – anak untuk menghadirkan acara sosialisasi edukasi pencegahan pelecehan seksual pada anak. Kemudian penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif.

Abstract

Interaksi merupakan hal yang pastinya sehari-hari kita lakukan dilingkungan yang kita tempati. Namun terkadang banyak hal yang mungkin menjadi pendukung dan penghambat untuk sebuah interaksi. Batangkali interaksi terjadi karena mereka memiliki kepercayaan diri yang tinggi dan mengenali diri mereka dengan baik sebagai pelaku interaksi. Di Panti Asuhan Sinar Damai Sejahtera ini saya mengajak adik-adik untuk menemukan diri mereka sejak dini dan membantu mereka memiliki interaksi yang baik dengan sesama mereka. Kenapa perlu membantu mereka untuk menuntaskan hal tersebut? Karena mereka tinggal bersama dengan jumlah yang lebih banyak daripada anggota keluarga lainnya yang menyebabkan perlunya untuk mengajarkan dan menerapkan interaksi yang baik diantara mereka agar mereka dapat secara bersama-sama membantu teman lainnya khususnya untuk yang sulit diajak interaksi agar mereka saling menyayangi dan memberi perhatian yang rata dan adil untuk teman-teman nya di Panti Asuhan Sinar Damai Sejahtera. Dan bagaimana cara mereka membantu teman-teman lainnya dan saling menyayangi satu sama lain adalah melalui interaksi.
