Abstract

The increase in the number of neglected children with social welfare problems is due to the fact thatthe services provided for people with social welfare problems are still not optimal. Several factorsoften influence this, such as the service and budget aspects provided by the government. This researchwas carried out with the aim of finding out how abandoned children are handled in Berau Regency.This research uses qualitative methods, Primary Data comes from Social Service officials such as datafrom observations and interviews, then secondary data comes from on-site documentation and otheronline sources. The results of the research show that the performance of the apparatus in handlingabandoned children at the Berau Regency Social Service through the Program for People with SocialWelfare Problems can be classified as good in terms of objectives, standards, feedback, motives andopportunities for feedback, motives and opportunities. However, it is still lacking in terms of human resource objectives that include data and competency of the apparatus at the Berau Regency SocialService.

Abstract

The waste problem in Indonesia is a problem that has not been resolved to date. Waste is the result of human activity that is not reused. One of the human activities that causes the generation of paper waste is the activities of running government offices. Based on this, this article aims to examine alternative urban waste reduction innovations in realizing Sustainable Development Goals in Indonesia. This research uses a literature review method. Information and data obtained from various literature are compiled based on the information obtained and make it relevant to the topic being discussed. The research results found that one of the human activities that produces paper waste is government office activities. Government office activities are one aspect that participates in producing paper waste, and this is a phenomenon that needs to be considered critically. An innovative alternative proposed by the author to help overcome this problem is the use of the Green Newspaper concept in designing the basic materials for paper production. This paper concept can help the use of the Green Newspaper concept to realize one of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGS) points, namely responsible consumption and production, where paper can be used to minimize waste from the government administration process.

Abstract

Lack of persuasive relationship between the Village Head and the entire community in the village. This is what causes a lack of communication process between the village head and the community in planning and implementing village development. The leadership of the village head has a big role in determining the direction of policy in development in the village. This research aims to determine the leadership of the Tanjung Mekar Village Head in increasing community participation in village development. This research uses a descriptive method with a survey approach. The research sample included the Village Head, village officials and the community. Data was collected through interviews, questionnaires and observations. The research results show that the leadership of the Tanjung Mekar Village Head in increasing community participation in village development is classified as "Quite Good". The Village Head is assessed as having intelligence, emotional maturity, high motivation, a drive for achievement, and a good attitude towards human relations. However, there are several suggestions for increasing community participation, such as increasing communication, transparency and community involvement in development planning. Overall, this research provides insight into the importance of effective village head leadership in encouraging community participation and achieving village development goals.

Abstract

Globalization has become a major driver of innovation in the Indonesian government sector, especially in the digitalization of public services, institutional restructuring, and the implementation of technology-based policies. This article aims to examine the relationship between government innovation and government restructuring in Indonesia, with a focus on the application of digital technology, public budget management, and increasing human resource (HR) capacity. This study uses qualitative analysis with descriptive research methods. related to the condition of government innovation and institutional restructuring in Indonesia by accurately describing the nature of symptoms or signs of further development in the relationship between the research object and other social phenomena using online data on innovation and institutions in Indonesia. The results of the study show that the Indonesian government has made various efforts such as the development of e-government, e-budgeting, and the Smart City program to improve transparency, efficiency, and effectiveness of public services. Bureaucratic reform also plays an important role in driving innovation, especially through institutional restructuring that allows adaptation to local needs and global demands. However, the main challenges in implementing this innovation include the inequality of access to technology between developed and disadvantaged regions, especially in eastern Indonesia, and the gap in HR competency. The novelty of this article emphasizes the importance of cross-sector collaboration, both at the central and regional levels, to ensure the success of innovation in government. Policy support, infrastructure investment, and human resource development in disadvantaged areas are needed so that innovation can drive inclusive and equitable economic growth throughout Indonesia.

Abstract

The application of technology in government has gone global in various countries. The use of communication and information is no longer limited by space and time. One world feels in our hands through electronic devices and internet access. There are so many of them who take advantage of this opportunity to take advantageous opportunities to improve their standard of living. This study aims to analyze the application of a smart city in the city of Semarang, and the things that hinder the application of the smart city concept. This study uses a qualitative descriptive analysis method. This study observes the government's actions in taking a smart city implementation policy. The city of Semarang has a personal branding as one of the big cities in Indonesia which incidentally has many advantages in terms of infrastructure. Semarang in realizing its consistency in building a website that can be accessed by everyone related to smart cities as a form of implementing these policies where on the website there are facilities for smart governance, smart branding, smart economy, smart living, smart society, and smart environment. The implementation of smart city in Semarang City is still undergoing gradual changes and there are still many shortcomings that need to be overcome. The slow implementation process is certainly affected by the existing obstacles both from within and from outside the Semarang City Government.
