Abstract

The professional competence of teachers is very important, because professional teachers are able to create a conducive learning climate, a challenging learning atmosphere, and are able to learn in a fun way. Therefore, the professional competence of a good teacher can make students enthusiastic in learning. This study aims to determine: 1. How is the professional competence of fiqh teachers at MTs Salafiyah Syafi'iyah Tebuireng Jombang. 2. How is the student's motivation to learn in fiqh subjects at MTs Salafiyah Syafi'iyah Tebuireng Jombang 3. Is there any influence of teacher professional competence on students' motivation to learn in fiqh subjects at MTs Salafiyah Syafi'iyah Tebuireng Jombang. This research is a field research, using a quantitative approach where the data collection technique uses a questionnaire or questionnaire. For data processing using the percentage formula and a simple regression formula. The results of this study stated that the professional competence of fiqh teachers was included in the moderate category because 68% of 63 students stated the medium category, and students' learning motivation showed the medium category with a percentage of 69.8% of 63 students stated the medium category. There is a low influence of the professional competence of fiqh teachers on student learning motivation at MTs Salafiyah Syafi'iyah Tebuireng Jombang, because from computerized calculations the effect is only 6.4%.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the management of student students at the Al-Urwatul Wutsqo Islamic Boarding School Jombang, which integrates religious education and formal education in higher education. The approach used in this research is descriptive-qualitative, with data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. The research focus includes planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating the management of student students. The research results show that the management of student students at the Al-Urwatul Wutsqo Islamic Boarding School is carried out systematically by applying the principles of Islamic boarding school-based education management. Apart from that, the synergy between the religious and academic curriculum has succeeded in creating a conducive learning environment, improving the quality of learning, and supporting students' character development. However, this research also found challenges in providing facilities and infrastructure and managing time between academic activities and Islamic boarding schools. It is hoped that the implications of this research can contribute to the development of educational management in Islamic boarding schools in a more effective and sustainable way.

Abstract

Visionary leadership plays a crucial role in enhancing the professionalism of educational staff within academic institutions. This study focuses on the visionary leadership strategies implemented by female school principals at SMA Primaganda Jombang and their impact on educational staff. Using a qualitative approach with a case study method, data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis involving school principals, educational staff, and stakeholders. The findings indicate that the principal employs various strategies, including fostering a culture of innovation, enhancing staff competencies through training, adopting a collaborative leadership approach, mentoring and coaching, continuous performance evaluation, and providing incentives and rewards. These strategies have proven effective in increasing motivation, productivity, and staff loyalty toward the school’s vision. The study concludes that well-implemented visionary leadership can create a professional and adaptable work culture. Therefore, further support from the government and educational stakeholders is necessary to strengthen leadership development programmes for female school principals and provide sufficient resources to improve overall educational quality.

Abstract

Qur'ani-based Islamic boarding schools have a strategic role in facing global flows by strengthening character education. This research discusses the theoretical basis, learning methods, and the impact of Qur'ani-based Islamic boarding schools on student character development. This Islamic boarding school not only maintains traditional Islamic values, but also integrates technology and innovation in its learning approach. This research is library research where data is collected through books, articles and relevant ones used as references. Meanwhile, data analysts are used according to the researcher's abilities and understanding of the data found. Islamic boarding schools contribute positively to the formation of students' personality, ethics and tolerance. Despite facing challenges such as adapting to technology and meeting national standards, Qur'ani-based Islamic boarding schools also have the opportunity to become centers of authentic Islamic understanding in providing solutions to global challenges. This research is expected to enrich understanding of the role of Qur'ani-based Islamic boarding schools in strengthening character in the global era, as well as stimulate cooperation between Islamic boarding schools, government and society to produce a generation that is morally and ethically strong in facing global dynamics
