Abstract

Meningkatkan eksistensi dan mutu sumber daya manusia berkualitas, kompetitif dalam menyongsong pembangunan pendidikan yang lebih baik di abad ke-21 merupakan peran penting dari pendidikan.Menanggapi perkembangan dan tuntutan zaman, dosen harus dapat mengembangkan pemikiran kreatif dan inovatif dalam pembelajaran,memahami perkembangan psikologis siswa, mengembangkan kemampuannya, berkomunikasi dengan siswa dan berwawasan luas. Selain itu, dosen harus mempunyai modal psikologi (psychological capital) untuk memecahkan berbagai problematika pendidikan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menguraikan pentingnya modal psikologi (psychological capital) dosen di abad-21.Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode kajian pustaka.Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa optimalisasi modal psikologi (psychological capital) dosen membutuhkan kesadaran dan pemahaman akan pentingnya semua dimensi modal psikologi (psychological capital): harapan (hope), keberhasilan (efficacy), optimisme (optimism) dan ketahanan (resilience). Dosen banyak sekali mengahadapi berbagai tantangan transformasi pendidikan abad 21. Oleh karena itu, bukan hanya meningkatkan keterampilan dan kompetensinya saja,dosen juga harus mempunyai modal psikologi atau psychological capital yang baik, menguasai dan terbuka akan kemajuan teknologi demi menciptakan sumber daya manusia unggul yang mampu bersaing dalam dinamika kehidupan global saat ini.

Abstract

The Association of Santri Students and Scholars of West Nusa Tenggara (ISMA'U NTB) Jombang, whose existence is a forum for unity of all Students from West Nusa Tenggara Province residing in Jombang and also to accommodate their aspirations for the advancement of West Nusa Tenggara Province in particular and Indonesia in general. The purpose of this community service is to explain the understanding of relevant things in the organization, understanding the meaning and measurement of organizational effectiveness, and understanding ideal organizational charts. The strategy used is a training/workshop system and interactive discussions. As for the results of community service carried out at Isma'u West Nusa Tenggara Orsat Islamic Boarding School Al-Urwatul Wutsqo Jombang, it can increase knowledge and understanding of the importance in the organization to design and create and develop an ideal organizational structure, increase the skills of all administrators and members of the organization in performing according to their respective jobs, the awareness of all members of the organization on the importance of increasing understanding, deepening of the organization.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of Madrasah-Based Management (MBM) in developing teacher competency at MIN 6 East Aceh. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study method. Data sources were obtained through interviews, observation and documentation. The research results show that implementing MBM in MIN 6 East Aceh has generally gone well despite several obstacles. In the aspect of developing teacher competency, MIN 6 East Aceh has made efforts such as providing opportunities for teachers to improve their educational qualifications, developing educator management through internal Teacher Working Groups (KKG), and providing opportunities to attend seminars. Factors supporting the implementation of MBM in MIN 6 East Aceh include strong leadership of the madrasa head, availability of human resources, adequate facilities and infrastructure, and fairly high community participation. The inhibiting factors in implementing MBM at MIN 6 East Aceh include limited classroom space, lack of networks and community participation, still centralized administration, and limited budget to develop teacher competency. To overcome these obstacles, MIN 6 East Aceh needs to strengthen networks and partnerships with the community, seek to increase the budget to support training and professional development activities for teachers and increase the number of classrooms. Overall, the implementation of MBM at MIN 6 East Aceh has positively impacted the development of teacher competency and improved the quality of education in madrasas.

Abstract

This study analyzes the role of Aqidah Akhlak teachers in cultivating students' self-confidence at MTsN 9 Jombang. Through the descriptive qualitative method, this research reveals the multidimensional strategies applied by teachers in developing students' self-confidence. Data collection was carried out through interviews with the head of the madrasa, the deputy head of student affairs, Aqidah Akhlak teachers, and students, and supported by observation and documentation. The results showed that the Aqidah Akhlak teacher acts as a guide who provides information, motivation, and direction to students. The cultivation of self-confidence is done through various methods, including giving advice, habituation, rewards, and personal approaches. Madrasahs also facilitate the development of students' self-confidence through extracurricular activities and comprehensive evaluations involving daily tests, individual and group assignments, and question-and-answer methods. Collaboration between the madrasah head, the head of student affairs, the Aqidah Akhlak teacher, and the counseling teacher creates an educational ecosystem that supports the development of students' self-confidence. This research contributes to the development of a holistic guidance model that integrates pedagogical, psychological, and spiritual aspects in Islamic education, offering a new perspective on the approach to character education in the madrasah environment

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of self-awareness and involvement in the morning apple on the work discipline of the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) at the Jombang Regency Education and Culture Office. Work discipline is a fundamental aspect in the performance of ASN because it reflects responsibility, integrity, and professionalism in carrying out public service duties. Self-awareness is an internal factor that encourages individuals to understand the value, role, and consequences of each action in the work environment. Meanwhile, involvement in the morning apple is a form of collective activity that fosters a sense of togetherness, shared responsibility, and compliance with organizational rules. This study uses a quantitative approach with a total of 104 ASN respondents selected through the proportionate stratified random sampling technique. Data collection was carried out using a closed questionnaire with a Likert scale, then analyzed using multiple linear regression through the SPSS program to determine the partial and simultaneous influence between variables. The results showed that self-awareness had a positive and significant effect on ASN's work discipline (β = 1.009; t = 2.704; sig. = 0.018). Similarly, involvement in morning apples had a positive and significant effect on ASN's work discipline (β = 0.959; t = 2.402; sig. = 0.008). Simultaneously, the two variables had a significant influence on work discipline (F = 22.112; sig. = 0.000) with  a determination coefficient (R²) of 0.291, which means that 29.1% variation in ASN work discipline can be explained by these two variables.These findings confirm that the formation of self-awareness and increased participation in the morning apple is an effective strategy in strengthening the culture of ASN work discipline. Therefore, public organizations need to integrate mental coaching activities and collective discipline on an ongoing basis to create civil servants with integrity, productivity, and oriented towards quality public services.

Abstract

Teaching the elderly to read the Koran is a challenge and an opportunity to help them deepen their spirituality. Elderly people often face various obstacles such as decreased vision, decreased memory, and difficulty in learning new things. However, with the right methods, this process can be a meaningful and rewarding experience. This service aims to analyze learning to read the Koran in the elderly. The methods used in this learning are class grouping, the Baghdadi Method, and the Slow Tartil Method. The results of the service show that teaching reading the Qur'an to the elderly includes Teaching reading the Qur'an to the elderly is a challenge and an opportunity to help them deepen their spirituality. Elderly people often face various obstacles such as decreased vision, decreased memory, and difficulty in learning new things. However, learning to read the Koran can be carried out well and smoothly.  The results obtained from coaching to read the Al Quran are recognition of hijaiyah letters, correct pronunciation and pronunciation of hijaiyah letters, and skills in reading the Al Quran correctly.

Abstract

This article aims to determine the effectiveness of parenting study activities in increasing parents' awareness of early childhood care. A resilient child is a child who can adjust, face challenges, and bounce back after experiencing a difficulty or problem. the implementation of this community service uses a community service method using a PAR approach with stages: Stage to Know, Stage to Understand, Stage to Plan, Stage to Act, Stage to Change. The results state that children's resilience does not appear suddenly, but needs to be trained from an early age by parents. A resilient child does not mean never failing, never being sad, or never being disappointed, a resilient child is a child who can get up, after feeling failure, sadness, and disappointment. Teaching children to face obstacles and rise from failure can be done by several things: being an example for children, building a mutually supportive relationship between parents and children, giving children the opportunity to develop a sense of responsibility, helping children control emotions, and giving children the opportunity to face challenges

Abstract

Writing skills are one of the most important basic skills that students must possess, both in academic and professional contexts. Writing is not just about expressing ideas, but also a means of critical thinking, logical argumentation, and systematic communication of ideas in accordance with the rules of good and correct language. Unfortunately, the reality on the ground shows that many students still struggle to produce well-structured, coherent writing with depth of analysis. This situation certainly poses a challenge for universities in preparing graduates who are not only theoretically competent but also able to communicate their ideas through writing. To address these issues, the Student Creativity Programme (PKM) was established with the aim of improving students' writing skills through a range of integrated activities. The main activities include academic writing training, creative writing workshops, and intensive mentoring by experienced mentors. The programme's implementation method emphasises a participatory approach, hands-on practice, and continuous evaluation that focuses on the participants' writing outcomes. Program outcomes demonstrate significant improvements in writing structure, idea development, and language accuracy. Students also appear more confident in producing written works, both scientific and non-scientific. Thus, this programme can serve as a strategic model for the sustainable and practical development of students' writing skills in higher education.
