Abstract

The principal is the leader of the educational unit. The leadership success of a school principal is based on one of several leadership theories or models. One leadership model is transformational leadership. Transformational leadership is leadership that has the ability to change the energy of resources, be they people, tools, or situations, to achieve goals. Transformational leadership has the following characteristics: charismatic, the ability to create inspiration, the ability to stimulate the minds of followers positively, individual attention. Transformational leadership has the following characteristics: having a vision, having personal considerations, inspirational motivation, intellectual simulation. The application of the principal's transformational leadership style is seen in: the ability to build the school's vision, mission and programs, be an agent of change, be charismatic, have empathy, stimulate intelligence and encourage creativity, creating opportunities for all school members. The application of transformational leadership carried out by school principals has an impact on the achievement of professional learning. Creating a school culture and environment that supports and achieves high student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji hubungan antara sarana prasarana sekolah dan motivasi belajar siswa kelas 12 di SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Gresik. Sarana prasarana yang dimaksud mencakup kelengkapan fasilitas belajar, kondisi fisik fasilitas, ketersediaan teknologi pendidikan, pemanfaatan ruang dan fasilitas belajar, serta pemeliharaan fasilitas yang mendukung proses pembelajaran. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah survei dengan menggunakan kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada seluruh siswa kelas 12. Kuesioner tersebut berisi pertanyaan yang berkaitan dengan kualitas sarana prasarana sekolah dan tingkat motivasi belajar siswa. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif yang signifikan antara kualitas sarana prasarana sekolah dan motivasi belajar siswa. Siswa yang memiliki akses terhadap sarana prasarana yang lebih baik cenderung memiliki motivasi belajar yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan siswa yang belajar di lingkungan dengan sarana prasarana yang kurang memadai. Temuan ini menekankan pentingnya investasi yang berkelanjutan dalam sarana prasarana pendidikan untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa, serta perlunya evaluasi rutin guna memastikan penyediaan fasilitas pendidikan yang memadai bagi seluruh siswa.

Abstract

This research aims to gain knowledge about Principal Innovation in Improving the Professionalism of Teachers and Education Personnel at SMAN 1 Sooko Mojokerto. The method used is a qualitative approach using several data collection methods, such as interviews, observation, literature study and analysis of relevant documents. The results of this research are to find out what the principal's strategies are for SMAN 1 Sooko in further efforts to provide encouragement and training to teaching and education staff so that the quality and professionalism of the teaching and education staff at SMAN 1 Sooko runs optimally. The welfare and professionalism of teaching and education staff at SMAN 1 Sooko has achieved a fairly good level of success. This can be seen from the increasing number of teaching and education staff who are promoted to class or rank. If welfare is improved and prioritized, it will have a big influence on the implementation of their duties. Where teaching and education staff will feel comfortable and without pressure. "Trust building, happy ending school program" The principal really builds trust through good performance, facilitating teachers and students to develop their potential, including awards or rewards for students and teaching and education staff who excel.
