Abstract

This research examines students' perceptions of the renewal of learning through habituation in the morning with student and female students' perceptions of the implementation of habituation (Dhuha Prayer, Memorizing Prayers, Memorizing Asmaul Husna, Singing Indonesia Raya Songs, Singing March Muhammadiyah) at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Muhammadiyah Hair. The method used is the Case Method. The population of this study was Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Muhammadiyah Bulu students with respondents 20% of the total population. Data were collected using questionnaires, and the results of the research showed that 49% of respondents agreed with the reform of learning at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Muhammadiyah Bulu, Punduhsari Village, Manyaran District, Wonogiri Regency.

Abstract

The education system that first appeared in Indonesia was the Islamic boarding school. In its development, Islamic boarding schools have always innovated and transformed themselves, both in terms of the content (material) taught and in terms of methods and management. However, the reality on the ground is that there are still many problems faced by Islamic boarding schools. This research aims to explore managerial problems and Islamic boarding school curriculum. In this research, library research or qualitative methods are used which refer to books and previous research. The results of the research show that Islamic boarding school managerial problems include Islamic boarding school policies being under the authority of the Kyai, the condition of students in terms of clothing, health and behavior as well as the "all mono" administrative pattern. Meanwhile, curriculum problems include providing general lessons that are less effective and a passive learning atmosphere. In conclusion, the development of science and technology creates increasingly high demands on Islamic boarding school educational standards so it is necessary to develop strategies to increase the progress of Islamic boarding schools that promise guarantees of knowledge, personality and skills.

Abstract

Nowadays, there are many Islamic boarding schools around us. With various types, including salafiyyah and modern. The management of Islamic boarding schools will also vary depending on the vision and mission of each Islamic boarding school. Running an Islamic boarding school in accordance with the Islamic boarding school's vision and mission will make the Islamic boarding school have its own characteristics. Leadership is a person's ability to lead, control, influence people's thoughts, feelings or behavior to achieve certain goals. Thus, the leadership style in each Islamic boarding school is different. Because leadership style will also show the differences between each Islamic boarding school and the Islamic boarding school's image. Therefore, this paper will discuss leadership in Salafiyyah and modern Islamic boarding schools.

Abstract

Kitab kuning viewed as theory and values contributor that followed al-Quran and Hadis Nabi as a background. In pesantren world, kitab kuning position are very strategic because it used as text book, references, and curriculum within pesantren education system. Aside from being religion procedure guideline, kitab kuning also functioned as universalreferences on responding every life challenge among pesantren people. This writing presents the results of research on the tradition of reading "kitab kuning" (yellow books) in Islamic boarding schools (Pondok Pesantren). The research employed a data collection method involving the reading and interpretation of various models of learning "kitab kuning" in pesantren, with a particular focus on observing Islamic Boarding School Baitussalam. The findings of this research indicate that the tradition of learning to read "kitab kuning" is still ongoing in Pondok Pesantren. The in-depth study and learning models of "kitab kuning" have become distinctive features in developing literacy and scholarly references in the world of pesantren. Classic texts, commonly known as "kitab kuning," play a crucial role in advancing the teachings of Islam. This underscores the importance of studying these yellow books. Islamic scholars have compiled these teachings into uniquely yellow-colored books, which are studied in Madrasahs and Pondok Pesantren. These books contain Islamic knowledge, particularly in the field of Islamic jurisprudence (Fikih), and are written or printed in Arabic script, using Arabic or Malay, Javanese, Sundanese, and other languages.

Abstract

The purpose of this discussion is to determine the role of Islamic boarding schools in education in Indonesia. This discussion uses a qualitative approach and literature study methods. The aim of Islamic boarding school education is to develop an Islamic personality, namely a personality who has faith and is devoted to allah SWT. Have noble character, be useful and serve the people (khadim al ummah). Islamic boarding school heve long been institutions that have made an important contribution in participating in educating the nation. Islamic boarding school are not only religious institutions. Islamic boarding schools also act as educational, scientific, training, community development institutions, bases for colonial resistance and at the same time as cultural nedes.

Abstract

Curriculum is an important tool in education. To improve the quality of education, curriculum development must be carried out comprehensively. This research aims to describe the curriculum development at Al Madinah Boyolali Integrated Islamic Middle School. The research method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive method, with a research approach in the form of a case study. The results of the research show that the curriculum at the Al Madinah Boyolali Integrated Islamic Middle School is an integrity curriculum, meaning an educational unit-level curriculum that combines the education service curriculum with the Saudi Arabian curriculum with superior tahfizhul Qur'an and Arabic language programs. The model of teaching and learning activities adopted at the Al Madinah Boyolali Integrated Islamic Middle School consists of two combined systems, namely the Salafiyah education system and the modern education system, namely that teaching and learning activities adhere to the school system in general. Four of the existing components include objectives, curriculum content, strategy, and evaluation. The objective component specifications relate to the four core competencies of graduates that must be mastered or achieved by the students of Al Madinah Boyolali Integrated Islamic Middle School, namely the core competency of monotheism, the core competency of having noble morals, the core competency of being intelligent, and the core competency of being competitive. The content components of the Al Madinah Boyolali Integrated Islamic Middle School curriculum are organized in three forms of activities, namely curricular, co-curricular, and extracurricular activities. The learning strategy component refers to the teaching approaches methods and equipment used in teaching. The curriculum evaluation component is intended to assess a curriculum as an educational program and determine the efficiency, effectiveness, relevance, and productivity of the program in achieving educational goals.

Abstract

Islamic boarding schools have unique parenting characteristics compared to other educational environments. Parenting patterns are usually based on Islamic values ​​and are focused on strengthening aqidah, forming noble morals, discipline and independence of students. Parenting patterns in Islamic boarding schools also vary depending on the traditions and approaches of each Islamic boarding school. Therefore, it is very interesting to take research on parenting patterns at the Tahfidz Nurul Quran Islamic Boarding School, Jaten Karanganyar. This research is field research using field observation methods and interviews with Islamic boarding school owners.

Abstract

Mawdu' hadith (false hadith) poses a significant threat to the authenticity of Islamic teachings, potentially leading the Muslim community astray. This study aims to identify the characteristics of mawdu' hadith, analyze the dangers of its spread, and provide recommendations to safeguard the authenticity of the Prophet Muhammad SAW’s hadith. The research employs a literature review method, examining both classical and contemporary texts on hadith sciences, as well as authoritative sources in the field of Qur'anic and hadith studies. The study finds that mawdu' hadith can distort the understanding of Islam, influence worship practices, and cause division within the community. Therefore, systematic efforts are needed to educate the public on the importance of hadith verification and enhance the understanding of hadith sciences. This research contributes to a better understanding of the crucial role of authentic hadith in preserving the purity of Islamic teachings and preventing the spread of teachings that deviate from the Prophet's guidance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the implementation of an adab mentoring program that integrates digital citizenship values and its impact on student character development at Al Abidin Bilingual Boarding School, Surakarta. The study employed a qualitative approach, utilising a case study method, with informants comprising Islamic Religious Education teachers, program coordinators, mentors, and students. Data were collected through observation, semi-structured interviews, and school documentation. The results indicate that the adab mentoring program successfully linked Islamic adab values with digital citizenship principles, including digital communication ethics, tabayyun (religious conduct), digital amanah (trustworthiness), and Islamic leadership. Implementation was carried out through routine activities, discussions, case studies, and reflections on students' digital experiences, supported by a boarding school environment that facilitates habituation and intensive supervision. The program's impact is evident in students' more polite behaviour, critical information filtering, disciplined use of devices, and emulating Islamic leadership digitally. This program effectively forms an Islamic character that is adaptive to the challenges of the digital era.
