Abstract

Struktur beton bertulang seringkali terekspos pada lingkungan yang mengandung zat-zat perusak seperti ion klorida. Penetrasi ion klorida akan merusak lapisan pasif pada beton dan mengakibatkan terjadinya korosi, sehingga penggunaan beton berkualitas baik sangat dibutuhkan. Pada penelitian ini, beton mutu tinggi memadat mandiri dengan variasi substitusi metakaolin terhadap berat semen sebesar 0% (kontrol); 10%; 12,5%; 15%; 17,5 %; dan 20% digunakan sebagai solusi. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengidentifikasi pengaruh substitusi metakaolin dan kadar optimumnya untuk meningkatkan resistensi beton terhadap penetrasi klorida. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimental dengan benda uji silinder beton berdiameter 7,5 cm dan tinggi 15 cm. Pengujian kedalaman penetrasi klorida menggunakan metode uji penetrasi klorida laboratorium dipercepat, benda uji dipaparkan pada lingkungan klorida dengan konsentrasi 2% dengan variasi waktu pemaparan 15, 37, dan 51 hari dan kemudian dianalisis menggunakan metode AgNO3 colorimetric (Fu et al., 2022). Pengujian sorptivitas klorida dilakukan berdasarkan ASTM C.1585 (ASTM International, 2013) menggunakan variasi waktu 30, 90, dan 1440 menit. Dari hasil penelitian, didapat bahwa substitusi metakaolin 15% merupakan kadar optimum untuk menurunkan penetrasi dan sorptivitas klorida pada beton sebagai kontribusi dari reaksi pozzolaniknya. Penelitian diharapkan dapat bermanfaat sebagai pencegahan kerusakan beton bertulang pada lingkungan agresif dengan menghasilkan analisis beton bermutu baik dan ramah lingkungan. Reinforced concrete structures are often exposed to environments containing corrodents such as chloride ions. The penetration of chloride ions will deteriorate the passive layer of the concrete and result in corrosion, thus the use of good-quality concrete is required. In this study, high-strength self-compacting concrete with a variation of metakaolin substitution to cement weight of 0% (control); 10%; 12.5%; 15%; 17.5%; and 20% was used as a solution. The objective of the study was to identify the effect of metakaolin substitution and its optimum level to improve concrete resistance to chloride penetration. This research used an experimental method with concrete cylindrical specimens of 7.5 cm diameter and 15 cm height. The chloride penetration depth test used the accelerated laboratory chloride penetration test method, the specimens were exposed to a chloride environment with a concentration of 2% with a variation of exposure times of 15, 37, and 51 days and then analyzed using the colorimetric AgNO3 method (Fu et al., 2022). The chloride sorptivity test was conducted based on ASTM C.1585 (ASTM International, 2013) using time variations of 30, 90, and 1440 minutes. Based on the results, it was found that 15% metakaolin substitution is the optimum level to reduce the penetration and sorptivity of chloride in concrete as a contribution to its pozzolanic reaction. The research is expected to be useful in the prevention of deterioration of reinforced concrete in aggressive environments by producing good quality and environmentally friendly concrete analysis.

Abstract

Permintaan mengenai kebutuhan pada bidang konstruksi terus meningkat tiap waktunya. Banyaknya Perusahaan yang bergerak pada bidang konstruksi bersaing untuk memberikan pembangunan yang terbaik pada clien-nya. Namun pada kenyataan, setiap proyek yang berlangsung tidak selalu berjalan mulus. Banyak sekali terjadi humans erorrs selama proses konstruksi berlangsung. Hal tersebut bisa saja terjadi karena pihak penyedia jasa masih mengandalkan metode- metode konvensial pada kegiatan konstruksi dan belum menerapkan digitalisasi. Digitalisasi ini merupakan bentuk kepedulian terhadap dunia konstruksi di Indonesia, khususnya area Solo raya. Untuk mencapai hal tersebut, maka dilakukanlah pengabdian yang bertujuan untuk memberdayakan penyedia jasa untuk melakukan digitalisasi pada kegiatan konstruksi melalui penerapan BIM. Penyedia jasa yang digandeng merupakan penyedia jasa lokal yakni, CV Batu Intan. Pengabdian ini berisikan kegiatan sosialisasi dan pelatihan penggunaan BIM 5D. BIM 5D dipilih karena BIM 5D dapat menentukan volume material serta biaya secara akurat. Hal tersebut tentu sangatlah membantu selama kegiatan konstruksi berlangsung. Metode yang digunakan pada pengabdian ini adalah perencanaan, sosialisasi dan pelatihan (short course), serta peninjauan dan monitoring evaluasi. Kegiatan pengabdian ini memberikan hasil yang baik pada penyedia CV. Batu Intan dalam penggunaannya terhadap BIM menjadi lebih paham dari yang sebelumnya masih awam mengenai BIM. The demand for needs in the construction sector continues to increase. Many companies operating in the construction industry compete to offer the best construction to their clients. However, in reality, every project that is carried out does not always go smoothly. Many human errors occur during the construction process. This could happen because service providers still rely on conventional methods in construction activities and have not implemented digitalization. This digitalization is a form of concern for the world of construction in Indonesia, particularly in the greater Solo region. To achieve this, a service has been produced which aims to enable service providers to digitize construction activities through the application of BIM. The partner service provider is a local service provider, namely CV Batu Intan. This service contains socialization and training activities in the use of 5D BIM. BIM 5D was chosen because BIM 5D can accurately determine material volumes and costs. This is definitely very useful during construction activities. The methods used in this service are planning, socialization and training (short courses), as well as evaluation, monitoring and follow-up. This service activity gives good results to CV providers. Batu Intan, in his use of BIM, has become more proficient than he was before.

Abstract

Geographic Information Systems (GIS) have become very interesting and provide hope and the development of information and communication technology. One of the efforts to support the management of PBB geospatial data is by developing a Spatial Data Infrastructure (IDS). To determine the quality of geospatial data used in PBB management and the condition and readiness of IDS for PBB. A GIS-based computer program was used it. This study aims to determine the quality of geospatial data used to manage PBB in Gajahan Village, Colomadu District, Karngayar Regency. We collected data using observation and documentation techniques and data analysis of the PBB Block Map using the Arcgis software. The results showed that the position was less accurate in terms of geospatial data quality and the geometric shape had similarities. Also, the digitized results of the PBB block map can be used to support policymaking in local governments. However, the results of interviews with village officials were that they could only read old maps and could not update new data.

Abstract

Building construction in the Soloraya area often encounters cracking problems. This problem is generally caused by various factors such as improper design, poor material quality, building age, etc. which can have an impact on durability and structural strength. Therefore, Appropriate Structure Research Group conducted a community service with the aim of providing solutions to be utilized in the construction of buildings in the Soloraya area. This service was carried out with CV. Sokogi Reksacipta which is a local construction consultancy service provider. The concrete innovation presented as a solution is hybrid fiber concrete that combines natural fibers, i.e. ramie fibers and synthetic microfibers with improved mechanical properties to increase resistance to cracking. Through a series of laboratory tests and data analysis, the effectiveness of using hybrid fiber concrete in reducing the risk of cracking and increasing the durability of concrete structures was evaluated. The method used in this community service is socialization of the use and method of making innovative concrete. From the results of this program, 93.75% of participants understood the socialization activities, therefore this program is expected to contribute to the development of more durable and sustainable concrete technology for building construction applications in the Soloraya area.

Abstract

Karanganyar Regency is one of the regencies located in Central Java. The Karanganyar Regency area is located in a mountainous area to a plain area. Urban Karanganyar Regency has experienced an increase in population, causing a reduction in absorption areas to be built up. Development in urban areas always increases as a support for facilities and infrastructure. Urban drainage is one of the important facilities and infrastructures in urban areas to regulate water disposal. Increased urbanization causes inundation and flooding. The problem of urban inundation causes many losses. Overcoming problems in Karanganyar District, the purpose of this service together with partners is to socialize the application of SNI 02-2406: 1991 and SNI 03-3424: 1994 in urban drainage planning as flood mitigation. The method used is through socialization of urban drainage planning material and direct question and answer discussions with participants and pretest and post tests related to drainage planning. Prior to the socialization, a survey of drainage channel conditions including dimensions, sedimentation and debris and drainage flow direction was conducted. The results obtained from this activity are the increased ability of participants in optimal urban drainage planning. This community service activity is able to provide an understanding of the importance of maintaining drainage channels from garbage and sedimentation. The community and government can be directly involved in urban and sustainable drainage management.

Abstract

Floor slabs are important structural elements in building construction that function as floor coverings and withstand various loads. The purpose of this study is to identify the implementation method of the slab work and analyze the material requirements for the slab work of the Joglo Elementary School Building Construction project. This research applies quantitative research type. The volume calculation method is manual (conventional). The calculation analysis is only limited to the work of reinforcing iron, formwork, and concrete. The implementation of floor slab work in this project includes reinforcement work, formwork work, casting work, formwork demolition work, and floor slab concrete maintenance work. The reinforcement requirement for the 1st floor needs 8,551.02 kg, the second floor 17,102.04 kg, and the third floor 17,102.04 kg. The formwork requirements for the 1st floor slab amounted to 1038.34 m2, the second floor amounted to 1038.24 m2, and the third floor amounted to 1038.34 m2. The casting requirement for the 1st floor slab is 103.83 m3, the 2nd floor is 124.60 m3, and the 3rd floor is 124.60 m3.
