Abstract

This research aims tothe Government's concern for Islamic boarding schools.This concern was identified by Presidential Regulation (PERPRES) Number 82 of 2021, which concerns the funding of Islamic boarding schools, Islamic boarding school endowment funds, and the prospects for Islamic boarding schools following the stipulation ofPERPRES No. 28 of 2021, as well as political aspects in the stipulation of the PERPRES. Consideringthat Islamic boarding schools are the oldest educational institutions in Indonesia, with their distinctive educational approach, they have also played a pivotal role in the Indonesian independence movement. They are an integral part of the Indonesian educational landscape, contributing to the production of high-quality educational outcomes. This paper draws upon a range of key literature on the subject, which has been selected, organized and categorized according to their suitability for the purposes of this study. The contents of the literature were subjected to a rigorous analysis in order to ensure their suitability as material for the completion of this paper. This explanation is characteristic of library research, which employs content analysis techniques. The findings of the research indicate that the primary functions of Islamic boarding schools are education, da'wah and community empowerment.The existence of political power to pass the Islamic Boarding School Law and the Islamic Boarding School Endowment Fund contained in PERPRES no. 28 of 2021 is a legal umbrella for Islamic boarding school institutions to receive funds from the APBN, APBD in the form of grants, as well as non-binding assistance from other parties.The implications of this government policy have a significant impact on Islamic boarding schools, which are tasked with improving the quality of education in these institutions. However, Islamic boarding schools must also navigate the challenges of maintaining their unique curriculum in the context of government regulations. The primary implications of the establishment of the PERPRES in question are the requirement to register Islamic boarding schools (legalizing Islamic boarding schools administratively) and changes to the curriculum used (the incorporation of non-religious knowledge).

Abstract

Islamic Religious Education (PAI) as one of the subjects in schools needs to follow this development by adapting a curriculum that is in accordance with the demands of the times. This research aims to explore how to develop a PAI curriculum that is adaptive to the development of digital technology. This research uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method that utilizes previous writings such as books, journals, and articles. Content analysis and descriptive analysis are the basis for this research. Propositions and concepts are supported by a comprehensive and critical literature analysis from a variety of sources. The results of the analysis show that the development of an Islamic Religious Education curriculum that is adaptive to the development of digital technology involves the use of digital technology in learning such as interactive multimedia, e-learning platforms, mobile applications, virtual reality, and augmented reality to increase students' interest, motivation, and learning experience. This curriculum also includes the development of quality digital teaching materials such as interactive e-books, learning videos, and the use of e-learning platforms. In addition, training is needed for PAI teachers in integrating digital technology into learning, including the use of digital devices, the development of digital teaching materials, the use of e-learning platforms, digital learning strategies, and the ethics and safety of technology use

Abstract

Pola komunikasi dalam kepemimpinan pendidikan Islam memainkan peran krusial dalam membentuk karakter dan kompetensi peserta didik. Penelitian ini membandingkan pola komunikasi yang diterapkan di pesantren dan madrasah, dua lembaga pendidikan Islam yang memiliki pendekatan berbeda dalam proses pembelajaran. Di pesantren, komunikasi lebih bersifat interpersonal dan informal, dengan pemimpin (kyai) berfungsi sebagai mentor yang dekat dengan santri. Hal ini menciptakan suasana akrab dan memudahkan transfer nilai-nilai agama secara langsung. Sebaliknya, madrasah cenderung menerapkan komunikasi yang lebih formal, di mana kepala madrasah berperan sebagai pengelola institusi pendidikan yang sistematis dan terstruktur. Dalam konteks ini, penggunaan media komunikasi seperti rapat, seminar, dan dokumen tertulis menjadi lebih dominan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan analisis deskriptif untuk menggali pengalaman dan persepsi pemimpin serta peserta didik di kedua lembaga tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pola komunikasi yang berbeda berimplikasi pada efektivitas kepemimpinan dan keterlibatan peserta didik dalam proses pembelajaran. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan bagi pengembangan model komunikasi yang lebih efektif dalam pendidikan Islam, terutama dalam menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang kondusif bagi pembentukan karakter dan keahlian peserta didik.

Abstract

The progress of human civilization has now entered the era of society 5.0. In this era, technology plays a vital role in simplifying community activities. However, this era poses challenges, such as increasing individual competence and potential so that technology does not replace them. In addition, the value of tolerance and social interaction is decreasing due to dependence on technology. Islamic education can be a solution to face these challenges because of its universal nature. This research aims to explain how Islamic education can answer issues that arise in people's lives in the era of Society 5.0. The method is literature; the data source is from books, articles, websites, and the Quran, which are then analyzed to conclude. The results of the study show that Islamic education can integrate the use of technology with Islamic values. This aims to promote the wise use of technology without eliminating the essence of positive character and social values as the foundation. Thus, Islamic education can be the central pillar of forming a better society in the era of society 5.0.

Abstract

Political education in Indonesia is experiencing complex dynamics influenced by regulatory changes, advances in information technology, and increasing political participation of the younger generation. However, crucial problems include low political literacy, unequal access to political education, the practice of money politics, and polarization that hinders objective political learning. The lack of public understanding of the system and its political rights is a major challenge. Political education that is less oriented towards democratic values, freedom of expression, and tolerance makes society vulnerable to information manipulation and identity politics. This study analyzes these dynamics and problems, identifies the causal factors, and recommends strategies to improve the quality of political education. Low political literacy and unequal access cause a gap in political understanding. The practice of money politics and polarization create an unhealthy political climate, hindering critical and responsible political learning. Therefore, the role of formal and informal educational institutions in instilling democratic citizenship values ??is very important to realize a dignified and sustainable democracy in Indonesia. This study contributes to the understanding of the challenges in building critical and responsible political awareness among the community.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the Discourse of Modernism in Islamic Education from the Perspective of the Philosophy of Values. The type of research used is library research, which involves analyzing various conceptual information and data, both qualitative and quantitative, derived from previous scholarly articles. The data analysis techniques in this library research include data reduction, categorization, thematic synthesis, interpretation, and theoretical conclusion drawing. Based on the findings and discussion, the discourse of modernism in Islamic education from the perspective of the philosophy of values emphasizes the importance of harmonizing Islamic teachings with the development of modern science and technology in a selective manner. Modernism is not understood as blind acceptance of new ideas, but as a filtering process to ensure alignment with Islamic principles. Islamic education is required to integrate religious and general knowledge in order to produce a generation that is both Islamic in character and globally competitive. Value-related challenges arise from spiritual crises, materialism, and the negative impacts of technology. Therefore, the philosophy of values serves as a reconstructive approach to balance knowledge, faith, morality, and social responsibility in order to form insan kamil with an authentic Islamic identity.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the concepts of knowledge (‘ilm) and morality (akhlaq) in the thoughts of Ibn Sina and Ibn Khaldun, viewed from the aspect of their contribution to Islamic education. This research is a literature review, analyzing various conceptual information and both qualitative and quantitative data obtained from previous scholarly articles. The databases used to collect articles for this literature study include Google Scholar, DOAJ, ResearchGate, and ScienceDirect, which provide reliable and up-to-date academic sources. The data were analyzed using content analysis, by examining themes, concepts, and theoretical relevance to produce a comprehensive synthesis in accordance with the research focus. The findings and discussion reveal that the concepts of knowledge, ethics, and methods of contemporary Islamic education are greatly influenced by the works of Ibn Khaldun and Ibn Sina. Both rejected the notion of knowledge as merely technical, emphasizing instead its role in guiding humans toward truth, happiness, and morality. Ibn Khaldun highlighted knowledge as a cultural product and a tool for building civilization, with ethics rooted in social interaction. Conversely, Ibn Sina stressed the integration of reason and faith, gradual education, and the teacher as a moral role model. Their ideas are significant as they contribute to shaping the insan kamil a complete human being capable of competing globally while addressing the challenges of globalization through the integration of knowledge, faith, and ethics

Abstract

Research on the authority of prosecutors in confiscating assets of corruption defendants, because returning state assets to Corruption Eradication is difficult. In fact, corruption causes a lot of losses to the country. Even though criminal procedures have been made to save state assets, but it hasn't worked yet. Therefore, returning the assets of Corruption perpetrators can save state assets. The authority of the Prosecutor's Office plays a very important role in this effort. Research problems regarding the authority of prosecutors in confiscating assets of corruption defendants, the authority of the Prosecutor's Office to address the issue of returning state assets. Legal research method with a statutory approach. The result is that after the Corruption Eradication results there is a return of state assets, namely, there is a court decision. The legal basis for return is stated in Article 18 UU.31/1999 jo UU. 20/2001 Corruption Crimes, by summoning the convict, family and legal advisors by the Prosecutor regarding the stages, implementation of the return.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji perencanaan berbasis kearifan lokal dalam Pendidikan Agama islam (PAI) yaitu untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran PAI dengan cara mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai kearifan lokal ke dalam proses pembelajaran. Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) memegang peran penting dalam membentuk karakter dan moral generasi muda bangsa. Guru PAI sebagai ujung tombak dalam proses pembelajaran harus memiliki kompetensi yang memadai untuk melaksanakan tugasnya secara efektif. Salah satu strategi yang dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru PAI adalah dengan menerapkan perencanaan berbasis kearifan lokal. Kearifan lokal merupakan warisan budaya yang mengandung nilai-nilai luhur dan dapat menjadi sumber pembelajaran yang bermakna bagi peserta didik. Konsep perencanaan berbasis kearifan lokal untuk peningkatan kompetensi guru PAI. Dimulai dengan menjelaskan pentingnya peningkatan kompetensi guru PAI dan peran kearifan lokal dalam pendidikan karakter. Selanjutnya, dibahas tentang langkah-langkah dalam perencanaan berbasis kearifan lokal. Adapun langkah-langkahnya yaitu mulai dari identifikasi kearifan lokal yang relevan, pengembangan materi pembelajaran berbasis kearifan lokal, hingga penerapan pembelajaran dan evaluasi hasil pembelajaran dan dapat memberikan gambaran tentang potensi perencanaan berbasis kearifan lokal untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru PAI dan mewujudkan pendidikan karakter yang berkualitas.
