Abstract

Kreativitas merupakan pengetahuan kemampuan untuk memikirkan ide-ide yang baru sehingga dapat melahirkan solusi dalam memecahkan masalah yang dihadapi. Kreativitas dapat dianggap sebagai kemampuan untuk membentuk kombinasi ide-ide baru untuk memenuhi kebutuhan. Seseorang dikatakan kreatif ketika orang itu secara konsisten . Motivasi dan semangat belajar yang  baik  serta  ditunjang  oleh  kreativitas yang  tinggi  akan  menjadi  stimulus  sangat penting  dan  diperlukan  oleh  peserta  didik sebagai  dorongan  untuk  memperoleh  hasil belajar    yang    maksimal    terutama    pada pembelajaran. Peningkatan kemampuan koneksi matematik siswa SMP yang pembelajarannya menggunakan pendekatan metaphorical thinking dengan berbantuan software Geogebra lebih baik dari siswa yang menggunakan pembelajaran biasa. Jenis metode yang digunakan adalah Deskriptif kualitatif yang merupakan sebuah metode penelitian yang memanfaatkan data kualitatif dan dijabarkan sejara deskriptif. Subjek penelitiannya adalah Sekolah Smp Al – Washliyah 8 Medan ,siswa kelas VIII2 . Jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif kerap digunakan untuk menganalisis kejadian, fenomena, atau keadaan secara sosial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai - nilai yang diperoleh oleh para siswa /siswi Smp Alwashliyah 8 Medan mencapai nilai dengan rata - rata 82 dan berdistribusi Data normal karna diatas signifikan 0.05 dan berhasil menggunakan aplikasi media IT Geogebra sebagai bahan ajar dan mengajar dengan tetap mengikuti kurikulum yang berjalan pada saat ini

Abstract

Education is one way to improve the quality of life of the nation. The basis of an education aims to improve the level of thinking of students in making a decision, exploring, creating something to compete at the international, national and other levels. One of the compulsory subjects is mathematics which is an important part of science. Low understanding by students in mastering mathematics is a problem that must be solved. The purpose of this study is to determine and analyze the improvement of students' ability to understand one of the mathematical applications, namely tube volume with the help of geogebra applications. This research uses a descriptive qualitative research approach with a case study approach through observation and document studies by researching at the Private Aliyah Madrasah school Ex. PGA UNIVA Medan Project. Data analysis used in this study through data reduction, data presentation and verification by taking samples of class XI Science 2 with 22 students. The first test is given by explaining the manual and for the second test, explaining the tube volume material with the application of geogebra. The results of this study that the use of the gogebra application as a teaching aid greatly affects the improvement of students in understanding space building lessons, including the volume of tubes with an average value from the pre-test of 65.6818 and the average value of the post test of 84.8636 with a value of Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.000 ? 0.05. This research proves that the geogebra application is very helpful for teachers and students in understanding concepts in terms of images in mathematics.

Abstract

The ability to understand mathematical concepts of students is still relatively low, so that more factual learning is needed for students, one of which is with thei eithnomatheimatics approach. This study aims to deiteirminei thei eiffeict of thei eithnomatheimatics approach at thei Simalungun Museium on studeints' ability to undeirstand matheimatical conceipts. This study is a Quasi-Eixpeirimeint study with a samplei of class X-3 of 36 studeints. Thei data analysis teichniquei useis thei t-teist, nameily thei Paireid Samplei T Teist with thei heilp of IBM SPSS Statistics 25 softwarei. Thei reisults of thei study showeid that  was reijeicteid, wheirei thei  is  and thei  valuei is , so it can bei concludeid that theirei is an eiffeict of thei eithnomatheimatics approach at thei Simalungun Museium on thei ability to undeirstand matheimatical conceipts of class X studeints of SMA Budi Mulia Peimatang Siantar. The researcher hopes that this research will be one of the inputs for the mathematics learning curriculum and can be used as basic material for balancing contextual mathematics learning materials based on local culture.

Abstract

Pengembangan modul ajar berbasis inkuiri menjadi salah satu inovasi pembelajaran matematika untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa. Penelitian bertujuan merancang dan mengembangkan modul ajar berbasis inkuiri yang efektif, menarik, dan sesuai kebutuhan siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika. Penelitian menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan pengembangan model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Subjek penelitian terdiri dari siswa sekolah menengah pertama (SMP). Hasil uji coba menunjukkan bahwa modul ajar berbasis inkuiri mampu meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa secara signifikan. Modul ini memberikan pengalaman belajar yang interaktif, menantang, dan berpusat pada siswa, sehingga mendorong mereka untuk aktif mengeksplorasi konsep matematika dan menerapkan strategi pemecahan masalah secara sistematis. Temuan diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi terhadap pengembangan bahan ajar yang inovatif dan mendukung pembelajaran yang lebih bermakna bagi siswa.

Abstract

The research was aimed at examining the extent to which the Realistic Mathematics Learning (RME) model rooted in local Batak cultural knowledge was able to improve students' understanding of mathematical concepts. A total of twenty eighth-grade students from Istiqlal Deli Tua Private Junior High School participated in this research which used a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental design of one group pretest-posttest. The research instrument was a geometry concept test in the context of Batak culture. Data were analyzed using the Paired Sample T-Test, N-Gain analysis, and homogeneity and normality tests. The results showed a significant increase in students' understanding of mathematical concepts, with an average score of 57.25 in the pretest to 86 in the posttest. The Paired Sample T-Test showed a statistically significant difference between before and after the application of the learning model with a significance value of 0.000 (<0.05). The average N-Gain score of 0.6940 placed the majority of students (60%) in the moderate improvement category, while the other 40% experienced a high increase. Thus, the Batak culture-based realistic mathematics learning approach has proven effective in deepening students' understanding of mathematical concepts. Research recommends utilizing local cultural knowledge as a learning resource to provide more relevant and meaningful mathematics learning for students.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a mathematics learning medium in the form of an Indonesian culture-based e-comic integrated with the educational values ​​of Imam Syafi'i on the topic of Two-Variable Linear Equation Systems (SPLDV) to improve the mathematical problem-solving skills of students at SMP IT Al Maidani. The urgency of this research is based on the low mathematical problem-solving abilities of junior high school students, as well as the lack of contextual, engaging, and Islamic character-infused learning media. The development model used was the 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). The research subjects consisted of 30 students in the first trial and 32 students in the second trial. Validation was conducted by media experts, material experts, religious experts, and cultural experts. The validation results indicated that the developed learning medium was valid with an average score of 4.3 (media experts), 4.2 (material experts), 4.4 (religious experts), and 4.5 (cultural experts). The first trial resulted in an increase in the average score from 76.9 (pretest) to 83.73 (posttest), with an N-Gain of 0.32 (moderate category). Based on the reflection results of the first trial, revisions were made, including improvements to the interface, the addition of sample verification questions, and additional contextual exercises. After revisions, the second trial showed a significant increase, with an average score from 77.4 to 94.25 and an N-Gain of 0.78 (high category). A total of 87.5% of students achieved classical learning completion. The results of the study demonstrate that the developed e-comic media is valid, practical, and effective in improving students' mathematical problem-solving skills and instilling Islamic character values ​​aligned with the educational values ​​of Imam Syafi'i.
