Abstract

This study delves into Indonesia's pursuit of zero-emission clean energy by 2060, focusing on advanced light particle tracking technology and the transition to Clean Coal Technology (CCT) such as Carbon Capture Storage (CCS). Using a qualitative research approach with data from diverse sources, it discusses Indonesia's goals for reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 2030 per the National Determined Contribution (NDC) plan. Emphasizing strategies like Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR), Enhanced Gas Recovery (EGR), and Carbon Capture Utilization and Storage (CCUS), the study highlights their role in emission reduction. It also analyzes global and Indonesian advancements in CCS/CCUS technologies, underlining their potential across sectors like oil and gas, power generation, and industries. The study advocates for regional cooperation and infrastructure development to promote CCS/CCUS adoption, stressing technological progress and international collaboration in Indonesia's clean energy journey and emission reduction efforts. The government's commitment to implementing CCS and CCUS is reflected in the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources Regulation No. 2 of 2023. Indonesia has a CO2 storage potential of 8.4 Gt CO2, and so far, there are 15 CCS and CCUS projects underway.

Abstract

Background: With the potential market share as the country with the largest Muslim population in the world, the existence of Indonesian Sharia Bank/Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) in Indonesia has indeed increased the development of Islamic banking, but has not been able to keep up with the prevalence of conventional bank market share so that both external and internal marketing strategies are needed with the utilization of marketing intelligence. This study aims to identify the characteristics of BSI customers by analyzing processes and performance, including comparing strengths and weaknesses with conventional banks so as to obtain marketing strategies to increase BSI market share. Methods This research is descriptive with a qualitative approach to the data obtained from interviews, documentation, and analysis of research subjects. Findings: The results show that the characteristics of BSI customers are young urban people with higher education and middle to upper economic levels. In BSI's marketing process and performance, the utilization of marketing intelligence is likened to an intelligence cycle, although it is not optimal because it still depends on data from external research companies. BSI has also not optimally implemented Blue Ocean Strategy that utilizes product uniqueness and tends to conduct Red Ocean Strategy to dominate the conventional bank market in increasing market share. Conclusion: The recommended marketing strategies include utilizing product uniqueness to create new markets, developing user-friendly transaction technology and digital platforms, strengthening positioning and brand awareness through Islamic ecosystem-based marketing, and intensifying digital marketing as a brand presence that increases public trust. Novelty/Originality of this article: The novelty aspect refers to the new or innovative elements in a research study that distinguish it from previous work. It includes unique contributions, new methods, or findings that have not been explored before in the field.

Abstract

The use of social media has become an inseparable part of teenagers' daily lives. Apart from having a positive impact, the existence of social media also has an impact on the negative behavior of its users, one of which is cyberbullying. This research aims to identify forms of cyberbullying among teenage victims on social media, estimate the impact of cyberbullying on teenagers' emotional intelligence abilities, and how to mitigate it. This research uses qualitative data collection techniques, including literature studies and expert interviews. The analysis uses qualitative thematics to identify forms of cyberbullying among teenage victims on social media, then analyzes predictions based on expert opinion and experience. The research results showed that there were five cases of teenage victims of cyberbullying in the form of insults and harassment on social media. Estimated impacts of these two forms of cyberbullying include teenagers having difficulty understanding and managing their own and other people's emotions, difficulty building social relationships, lack of self-confidence, stress, depression, and failure in academic achievement at school. Teenagers need to have the ability to mitigate adverse impacts; namely, first, teenagers do not need to respond to the cyberbullying they experience. Second, teenagers need support from their families and the school environment. Teenagers need to build good communication with their parents and understand how to use social media through literacy and legal risks by teachers at school. The government plays a vital role in controlling social media content that leads to cyberbullying (taking down the perpetrator's account).

Abstract

Garbage endangers the community in terms of health, the economy, and the land that is taken up. Indonesia is a country with many waste piles, but there is waste management in terms of recycling, the use of computers, and other things, even from energy sources for power plants. The Waste Power Plant (PLTSa) is an electric power plant that helps add electrical energy for the PLN to be distributed to the community. The source of combustion and the driving point for garbage power plan (PLTSa) is waste; therefore, most of these locations are located in landfills in big cities. This research article aims to strengthen the argument that the development of PLTSa can be accelerated because the increase in waste piles every year will cause unmanaged waste to also increase. The results of studies and literacy studies show that the average managed waste pile is 15,000 tons/year and still leaves 5 million tons/year of waste that is not appropriately managed; however, the PLTSa capacity is still small at 10 MWh/year. It is necessary to increase the quality of waste containers as a source of PLTSa energy to reduce the amount of unmanaged waste.

Abstract

Every human being always produces waste in his life, be it organic waste or inorganic waste. With the increasing number of people in the world, of course, the amount of waste produced will increase. To overcome these problems, we need a technology that can utilize waste to be used as a source of renewable energy, as was done by PLTSa Benowo in the city of Surabaya. At PLTSa Benowo, the use of waste to be used as a renewable energy source is carried out in two ways, namely Landfill Gas Recovery (LFG) and Gasification. The two processes will produce gas which will be used to generate 11 MW of electrical energy. Utilization of waste to be used as a source of electrical energy provides many benefits for humans, besides being able to overcome the problem of urban waste which is increasingly piling up, it can also provide electricity supply for PLN. The author uses descriptive methods through a qualitative approach, this research intends to understand what phenomena are experienced by the research subjects. The results of the research are expected to provide additional knowledge about PLTSa Benowo which is located in the city of Surabaya.
