Abstract

 Penelitian dalam skripsi ini di latar belakangi oleh tren thrift yang mulai marak padatahun 2021 di Kota Solo. sehingga muncul berbagai toko thrift. salah satunya adalahtoko Murda Thrift yang dimulai pada tahun 2021 dengan menggunakan mediapromosi Instagram dan mengikuti berbagai kegiatan untuk meningkatkan penjualanproduknya. Penelitian Bertujuan untuk menjelaskan berbagai strategi komunikasipemasaran yang dilakukan Murda Thrift melalui unsur 4P (Produk/Product,Harga/Price. Tempat/Place, Promosi/Promotion). Dalam penelitian ini menggunakanmetode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui observasi,wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini strategi komunikasipemasaran Murda Thrift dengan menerapkan unsur 4P: 1) Produk/Product yangdimana produk Murda Thrift lengkap dan memiliki kualitas yang unggul, 2)Harga/Price yang ditawarkan tergolong ramah dikantong semua kalangan, 3)Tempat/Place toko Murda Thrift strategis berada di HTC Solo Baru, 4)Promosi/Promotion yang efektif dilakukan melalui Instagram dan Tiktok. Implikasiatau saran dari penelitian ini adalah penelitian ini bisa dijadikan bahan untukmeningkatkan penjualan produk Murda Thrift dengan mengembangkan promosisecara online melalui media sosial.Kata kunci : komunikasi pemasaran; thrifting; strategi; pakaian

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to look at the Organizational Communication Strategy of the Karanganyar Student Forum in Maintaining Existence through External Events in Karanganyar Regency. This study uses the theory of organizational communication strategy. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection techniques in this study were using participant observation methods, in-depth interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques use data collection, data reduction, presenting data and drawing conclusions or verification. Based on the research results, it was found that determining the audience of an external Expo Campus event conducted by Formaka to maintain its existence, that is seen from the initial purpose of holding the Expo Campus, namely to introduce and disseminate information about lectures to Senior High School and Vocational School students who are still in school so that motivate them to continue their education to a higher level. The message was structured so that many would come to the Expo Campus in the form of outreach activities to Senior High School and Vocational School schools in Karanganyar, then making unique and interesting pamphlets and finally doing branding on social media. The method used to maintain the existence of Formaka is the Expo Campus. The selection and use of the media most often used by Formaka in conveying messages is Instagram, in collaboration with mass media such as radio. The conclusion from this study is that the organizational communication strategy of the Karanganyar student forum in maintaining its existence through external events in Karanganyar Regency, namely using the Expo Campus, can be said to be successful. Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to determine the form, purpose and impact caused among Unisri students after self-disclosure through a second Instagram account. In this study using qualitative methods with observational data collection techniques, interviews and documentation. In this study, researchers used the theory of Dramaturgy developed by Erving Goffman. The main informants in this study numbered six people with predetermined characteristics. The results showed that the form of self-disclosure carried out was in theform of activities, romance, opinions, and so on. Informants conduct self-disclosure aimed at self-expression, self-clarification, and developing relationships. The impact is in the form of positive and negative impacts. The positive impact is in the form of solutions, suggestions, getting to know yourself better and not disturbing others. While the negative impact caused is addiction, and reduced self-confidence. So that users are expected to be wiser and can limit themselves in using social media by not providing personal data to just anyone. Researchers also remind to pay more attention to things that will be shared on social media, so that no party feels disadvantaged. Keywords : Self Disclosure, Second Account, Instagram

Abstract

The LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender) phenomenon is an issue that is increasingly prevalent in Indonesia, there were at least 119 LGBT organizations in 28 of 34 provinces in 2013. Pros and cons certainly occur in Indonesian society, LGBT is considered to violate existing norms in this country. However, several opinions say that LGBT perpetrators should receive clear human rights protection, the perpetrators also use human rights as a form of their struggle to immediately recognize their existence. LGBT issues related to human rights have also adorned various information media in Indonesia, especially online news portals, including Detik.com, which is the most popular online news portal in Indonesia. Detik.com's framing of this phenomenon is interesting considering that LGBT people have never found clarity regarding their existence and rights. Therefore, this research aims to determine Detik.com's framing regarding LGBT news that is linked to human rights. This research uses qualitative methods and is analyzed using Zhongdang Pan & Gerald M. Kosicki's framing analysis theory with four analytical tools (Syntax, Script, Thematic, Rhetorical). The conclusions from this research also show how Detik.com frames LGBT actors as a group of figures who must have clear rights protection, and recognition of the existence of LGBT is an urgency that needs to be considered so that LGBT actors are no longer subject to acts of discrimination by any party. However, Detik.com also frames LGBT as a group that is at risk and vulnerable in terms of health and a deviation from norms in Indonesia. Abstract

Existence has an important role in expressing oneself, especially through social media such as TikTok. TikTok's popularity is growing and is of interest to young people, especially students. The informants in this study were selected using purposive sampling, as many as 3 students from the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences from Slamet Riyadi University, Surakarta with the TikTok user account names @fajri.i, @wulanmudmud.hehe and @lauraanste who used TikTok social media to display creativity through creating videos or content to gain popularity. Method used is a qualitative method which aims to explain an in-depth phenomenon by collecting data related to the research. Data collection techniques in this research are by observation, interviews and documentation. In this research, Erving Goffman's Dramaturgical Theory is used, a theory that describes life as a drama performance with two aspects of self-image, namely, front stage and back stage. The results of this research are the use of TikTok to develop self-existence in the front stage aspect of the three student accounts @fajri.i, namely comedian, @wulanmudmudhehe, namely influencer and @lauraanste, namely beauty creator. Meanwhile, in the back stage aspect, things are not visible on the front stage and prepare various strategies to prepare for the front stage. KEYWORDS: Existence, TikTok and Dramaturgical

Abstract

Social media Instagram has become a popular medium as a means of information for the general public, one of which is the Instagram account @lkp.cakra.surakarta. The Instagram account @lkp.cakra.surakarta provides information regarding pre-employment wave schedules, training programs, recommendations and tips. This research aims to understand and describe the use of social media Instagram accounts as a means of information for prospective training participants at the Cakra Surakarta Course and Training Institute. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data collection techniques are carried out using interviews, observation and documentation. Research subjects with 3 informants, namely the foundation owner, Instagram admin and prospective training participants. The validity of the data used is source triangulation. The research results show (1) Information Needs Approach: Utilization of Instagram social media to convey the latest/newest information. (2) Routine Information Approach: Regular posting schedules and relevant content help increase general public awareness about the programs offered (3) In-depth Information Approach: Presentation of call center tools to make it easier for prospective training participants to seek further information from the Instagram admin and present explanation of using the Instagram reels feature. (4) Information at a Glance Approach: Use of short posts such as Instagram stories and responsiveness to interactions via the comments column. Keywords: LKP, Instagram, Information Facilities.

Abstract

Previously, Lokananta was the first recording studio in Indonesia located in Solo City, but it has now transformed into a public space with an educational tourist destination. Following the revitalization process and a change in its business objectives, Lokananta Surakarta created a vision to become a Creative and Commercial Hub for local musicians, artists, and UMKMs, thereby contributing to social impact, economic growth, and the preservation of Indonesian culture. The aim of this study is to understand and describe the rebranding strategies employed by Lokananta after its revitalization to enhance brand awareness. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach with a case study method to describe the issues and focus of the study. In executing its rebranding process, Lokananta employed several primary strategies, including: 1. Repositioning 2. Renaming 3. Redesigning, 4. Relaunching. Additionally, to maintain and enhance its brand awareness, Lokananta utilized strategies such as: publication, events, community building, informing or imaging, lobbying and negotiation, and social responsibility. The results show that Lokananta has successfully executed rebranding while maintaining its primary role as an Indonesian recording industry while providing valuable experiences for visitors. Abstract

Communication is a process of conveying messages carried out by one party and anotherparty with the aim of achieving mutual understanding of a message or information sent to eachother. Communication can occur anywhere including in the health sector. The purpose of thisstudy was to determine interpersonal communication between midwives and pregnant womenpatients in antenatal care (ANC) services at Sri Winarti's Independent Midwife Practice(PMB) Sanggrahan Ngadirojo Village. This research is based on the theory of interpersonalcommunication or interpersonal communication is a dialog communication that is establishedthrough a direct communication process between two or more people. Messages are received intwo directions, nonverbal and verbal, for example between midwives and patients. This type ofresearch is descriptive qualitative. The object of this research was conducted at PMB SriWinarti with informants of midwives and pregnant women patients. Data collection methodsused interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis used qualitative analysis. Theresults of this study indicate that there is an interpersonal communication process carried outby midwives of pregnant women patients with 6 stages of interpersonal communication,namely the desire to communicate midwives with the intention of conveying messages.Encoding of the communicator, the use of words that are easy to understand and the use ofIndonesian and Javanese. Delivery of messages by midwives with verbal and nonverbalcommunication. Receiving messages that patients receive is done directly without media.Decoding from communicants, understanding the messages conveyed by midwives to patientsis understood and understood and understood. Abstract

Every activity in an organization whether or not communication activities are effective is largely determined by communication strategy, strategy is essentially planning (planning) and management (management) to achieve a goal.The purpose of this research is to see the organizational communication strategy of the Head of Tunas Mekar Youth Organization in the Tunas Mekar Cup IV event.This research uses the theory of organizational communication strategy. Types and methods of research using primary data from interviews and secondary data from documents, books, and journals. The data collection technique used is Purpose Sampling, while to test credibility using Triangulation of Sources and analyzed by the interactive analysis method developed by Mattew B. Milles and A. Michel Huberman. Milles and A. Michel Huberman, namely data condensation, presenting data, then drawing conclusions or verification. In running an event Tunas Mekar Cup IV requires stages of communication strategy, namely strategy formulation, strategy implementation, and strategy evaluation. In the strategy formulation, researchers use communication strategy planning to achieve success. In planning the communication strategy itself using the planning model from Cangara Hafied, namely, the “Sign Flow Communication Planning Model”. In the target team selected must have high quality and loyalty. Organizing the Tunas Mekar Cup IV event is based on the initial goal of providing a forum for the younger generation and providing entertainment to the community. The messages used are persuasive and informative messages. Building commitment to the Tunas Mekar Cup IV event still uses previous values and techniques and increases commitment. Selection and use of media in delivering messages with online media and print media. Making a communication plan can be by direct negotiation, the concept of the media used, licensing of related parties, proposals for sponsors and donors, evaluation of success. In the implementation of communication strategies in the Tunas Mekar Cup IV event requires collaboration between parties. The chairman overcomes member problems by taking a personal approach to members who run away from the assigned tasks. The success of the Tunas Mekar Cup IV event can be obtained by all committee members doing their duties and responsibilities well. Evaluation of the communication strategy of Tunas Mekar Youth Organization is done by forming a group discussion forum (FGD) and evaluating individual and team performance. The conclusion of this research is that the communication strategy of the Head of Tunas Mekar Youth Organization in the Tunas Mekar Cup IV event can be said to be not in accordance with expectations, but in its implementation it is still running smoothly. Abstract

Abstract Social interaction an important part of human life, making the ability to adapt very necessary, especially when in a new environment. Students from Solo who are members of the Solo Pride Community who choose to continue their studies at the University of Jember campus experience obstacles when adapting due to differences in cultural backgrounds such as language, social norms and cultural values which can hinder the communication process and trigger culture shock to overcome these obstacles, Solo students carried out an adaptation process. This research aims to find out the adaptation process carried out by Solo students in facing culture shock in the city of Jember. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Data was obtained from interviews and observations with informants, namely students from Solo who are members of the Solo Pride Community who are studying at the University of Jember class 2021-2022. The adaptation phases carried out by Solo students are the honeymoon phase, the frustration phase, the readjustment phase, and finally the resolution phase. Through adaptation phases and support from the Solo Pride Community, Solo students are able to adapt and accept differences and be well accepted by the surrounding community. Apart from that, Solo students also feel comfortable and happy because they have been able to adapt to the culture in the city of Jember.
