Abstract

The Qur'an, revealed by Allah SWT, serves as a testament to the truth of the Prophet Muhammad SAW, with its primary function being a guide for humanity. The Qur'an addresses various aspects of education and its critical importance in human life. The objectives of education are central and crucial issues in any educational discourse. Numerous verses in the Qur'an encapsulate the purpose of Islamic education, including Surah Al-Dhariyat (51:56) and Surah Al-Baqarah (2:30). These verses implicitly outline educational goals and, more specifically, the objectives of Islamic education. This study aims to describe the pedagogical implications of the educational objectives found in Qur'anic verses Al-Dhariyat 51:56 and Al-Baqarah 2:30 from the perspective of Islamic education studies. The research adopts a library research approach, employing qualitative methods. Based on the findings, it can be concluded that the educational objectives encapsulated in Qur'anic verses Al-Dhariyat 51:56 and Al-Baqarah 2:30 highlight that the ultimate purpose for which Allah created humans is to worship Him and to serve as leaders on Earth. Human existence is not a matter of chance or futility; rather, humans are created with specific purposes and responsibilities. The primary objective of human creation is to serve and worship Allah SWT. Abstract

This research is driven by observations of the low moral awareness among students. Evidence of this includes students violating rules, displaying a lack of discipline, attending and entering classes at their discretion rather than adhering to the set schedule, using coarse language, and lacking enthusiasm in their studies. The aim of this study is to describe the implications of internalizing Islamic values within Islamic Religious Education (PAI) lessons on students' moral awareness. The research employs a qualitative descriptive method. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis involves data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that internalizing Islamic values in the school environment and within PAI lessons positively impacts students' moral awareness. This is demonstrated by activities such as praying before starting lessons, performing congregational prayers, and engaging in practical applications and reflection on PAI learning materials.  Keywords: Internalization, Islamic Values, PAI Education, Moral Awareness

Abstract

This research is motivated by the ineffective learning outcomes due to students' low self-awareness in participating in learning activities. This is evident from the lack of achievement of learning objectives and the presence of students who do not meet the Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM) in Islamic Education (PAI). Self-awareness is crucial in learning activities, yet it remains a significant challenge for students. The objective of this study is to describe the effectiveness of Islamic Education (PAI) learning using a self-awareness training model. It is anticipated that the use of this model will have a positive impact on enhancing students' self-awareness. The research method employed is descriptive-analytical, chosen to gather factual data with interpretation. Primary and secondary data were collected through direct fieldwork using questionnaires, interviews, and observations. Data validation utilized triangulation. The findings indicate that the self-awareness training model in Islamic Education (PAI) positively impacts the effectiveness of learning. This improvement is attributed to teachers selecting substantive teaching materials, employing appropriate methods, and using functional learning media.  Keywords: Effectiveness of Islamic Education Learning, Self-Awareness Training Model

Abstract

Academic achievement is the assessment of learning outcomes expressed in the form of symbols, numbers, letters, or sentences that reflect the results achieved by students. Currently, student performance in the subject of Islamic Cultural History remains low, with some students scoring below the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM). Audio-visual aids are teaching materials used in the learning process to convey information or concepts through the use of sound, images, and motion. These aids are designed to provide a more interactive and engaging learning experience, facilitating students' understanding of the material being taught. This study aims to describe the impact of using audio-visual aids in Islamic Cultural History lessons on improving students' academic achievement. The research method employed is experimental, specifically a quasi-experimental design with a pre-test post-test control group setup. Data collection techniques included observation, questionnaires distributed to 68 students, and document study. Data processing was conducted using statistical analysis. The results of the study indicate that the average pre-test score for the experimental group was 58.794, while the control group scored 58.205. After the intervention using problem-based learning with audio-visual aids, the post-test average in the experimental group increased to 69.529, whereas the control group's average, which did not use audio-visual aids, was 61.235. Based on the t-test results, the value of t_calculated > t_table (t_calculated = 4.489 > t_table = 1.996). Therefore, it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of audio-visual aids on the academic achievement of students in the Islamic Cultural History subject in the Xth grade at MA Fauzaniyyah Sukaresmi Garut. Abstract

Morals are the state of a person's soul that appears on its own. It has a central role in human life in various aspects of life. It involves how individual humans interact with other humans, decide between acting good and bad so as to live life with integrity and high morality. The rapid development and advancement of Science and Technology, apparently affects one's morals in life. As Muslims, we have guidelines that can be used as a basis for life, namely the Qur'an and As-Sunnah. This research aims to describe the educational values ​​in the Al-Qur'an Surah Yusuf Verses 23-29 concerning Morals in the Study of Islamic Education, namely; 1. Educational Values ​​contained in the Al-Qur'an Surah Yusuf verses 23-29, 2. Educational Values ​​contained in the Al-Qur'an Surah Yusuf verses 23-29 concerning Morals in the study of Islamic Education.The method used in this research is to use qualitative research methods. Where according to Bodgan and Taylor, qualitative methodology is a research procedure that produces descriptive data in the form of written or spoken words from people and behavior can be observed. This approach is directed at the setting and the individual as a whole. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the educational values in the Qur'an Surah Yusuf verses 23-29 according to the study of Islamic Education Science are including the value of morals to Allah SWT (in the form of khouf), moral values to oneself (in the form of Iffah) and moral values to others (in the form of Amanah).  Keywords: Educational Value, Morals, Q.S Yusuf 23-29, Islamic Education

Abstract

Mosques are the most important facilities for Muslims. There needs to be efforts by mosque administrators to make mosques the center of Muslim civilization, especially in efforts to empower the millennial generation. This research aims to analyze the role of mosques as centers for economic empowerment for the millennial generation in Garut Regency. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach. Data collection was carried out through in-depth interviews, observation and documentation. The research results show that mosques have a strategic role in empowering the economy of the millennial generation in Garut Regency. Some of the roles of mosques include (1) Mosques as centers for creative economic activities, such as entrepreneurship training, business incubation, and promotion of MSME products; (2) Mosques as a place to distribute zakat, infaq and alms (ZIS) funds for the economic empowerment of the millennial generation; (3) Mosques as a space for collaboration and synergy between the millennial generation, mosque administrators and other stakeholders in developing economic empowerment programs; and (4) Mosques as centers for strengthening Islamic character and values ​​that support the economic development of the millennial generation.

Abstract

The development of the young Muslim generation which is starting to enter the teenage phase is a transition period between childhood and adulthood which is marked by significant physical, cognitive, social and emotional changes. Often they are anxious, emotionally unstable, try to rebel, and have minimal understanding of their identity as Muslims. To build good character, a healthy mentality, and help students understand how to apply religious ethical values, Islamic counseling is the right answer to guide them. The aim of implementing Islamic counseling guidance in an institution is that counselors (BK teachers) will help direct and help counselees (students) achieve spiritual, moral aspects and improve learning achievement, especially in Islamic religious education (PAI) subjects. PAI subjects are of course very useful for Indonesia, which is predominantly Muslim because it contains unchanging Islamic teachings, which are sourced from the Al-Qur'an and Hadith. These guidelines teach how students can achieve kaffah Muslims or become pure human beings. This research is a type of research that has a series of scientific activities in order to solve a problem. The method used in this research is a qualitative research method whose research procedures produce descriptive data in the form of written or spoken words from people and observable behavior. This approach is based on the Ciledug Al-Musaddadiyah Middle School in Garut, which has long implemented counseling guidance with an Islamic approach. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the Islamic counseling guidance implemented at Ciledug al-Musaddadiyah Middle School, Garut, can be implemented well in an effort to increase student learning achievement in PAI subjects in accordance with the types of achievement proposed by Bloom, namely the cognitive side, affective, and psychomotor. Abstract

This research is motivated by the problem of the character of politeness of students as the next generation of the nation caused by several factors such as the influence of globalization, the use of social media, and the influence of the surrounding environment which causes the fading of the character of politeness in students, both at the elementary, junior high, and high school levels. Similarly, Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) 2 Garut which is the target of this research, that the problem of the character of students, especially those related to the character of politeness, still shows many gaps that occur in the lives of students in the environment of MAN 2 Garut. It is realized that politeness character education for students is very important to be carried out through planting, forming, habituation, and exemplary practiced by teachers, students, and all elements of educational actors, especially at MAN 2 Garut. Given the character of politeness for students is a fundamental thing that is always attached to him in every action and behavior. The objectives of this research are; 1) Describing the Character Development of Politeness of Learners; 2) Describing the Character of Politeness of Students at MAN 2 Garut; 3) Describing the Efforts of Akidah Akhlak Teachers in Building the Character of Politeness of Students at MAN 2 Garut. This type of research is field research, the method used is descriptive qualitative method with a phenomenological approach that describes the phenomena and events that actually occur at MAN 2 Garut. The data collection techniques used are structured observation, structured interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique is by means of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, verification and conclusion. The results of this study indicate that at MAN 2 Garut there are several problems related to the character of politeness of students, namely: Abusive words to friends, not paying attention when the teacher explains, arguing with friends about differences in opinion, not greeting when meeting the teacher, and dressing in a less polite manner. Efforts made by several moral akidah teachers at MAN 2 Garut include: applying sanctions, applying polite characters, increasing religious understanding, increasing cooperation between the school and student guardians, negligence, having good character, and holding religious extracurricular activities.  Keywords: Efforts Akidah Akhlak Teacher, Character Politeness

The research was conducted using qualitative field methods, carried out at MAN 2 Garut which aims to find out (1) ROHIS extracurricular profile at MAN 2 Garut (2) Strengthening the exemplary character of students at MAN 2 Garut (3) Implementation of ROHIS extracurricular activities at MAN 2 Garut. The results showed that to strengthen the exemplary character of students, it is necessary to implement character education and provide examples, one of which is through ROHIS extracurricular activities with reinforcement steps and the methods of teaching, modeling, habituation and rewarding. Abstract

The role of teachers in education is very important and their quality must be considered. A teacher is someone who provides education to students so that the goals of education can be achieved. However, teachers must also have good and mature competencies so that all learning processes are as expected. One of them is having good personality competence, because when a teacher has good personality competence, this will encourage students to improve their learning outcomes because they make the teacher an example in their life. This research aims to determine the relationship between PAI Teacher Competency and Student Learning Outcomes in the Akidah Akhlak subject in class VIII MTs AL-Ma'arif Kadungora Garut. Apart from that, this research aims to determine the extent to which the teacher's role in the Akidah Akhlak subject affects their personality competence. So that a percentage can be obtained to what extent the teacher' personality competence influences student learning outcomes. The method used in this research uses the Correlative Quantitative Descriptive Method, so that a relationship will be obtained between the Independent Variable (personality competency) and the Dependent Variable (learning outcomes). The subjects in this research are class VIII students at MTs Al-Ma'arif Kadungora Garut, namely as many as 40 people. The results of his study indicate that the statistical tests, there is a relationship between Islamic Education Teacher Competency and Student Learning Outcomes in the Akidah Akhlak subject in class VIII MTs AL-Ma'arif Kadungora Garut of 63%, while other factors that influence student learning outcomes are 37% but were not examined in the research This.
