Abstract

Tolerance among adolescents in a multicultural society is essential. In today's diverse world, young people must embody specific values of tolerance, especially within a multicultural community. From the perspective of Islamic Education, tolerance carries particular significance, and issues of multiculturalism have been addressed historically since the time of the Prophet Muhammad (SAW). This study aims to understand and describe: (1) the profile of the multicultural community in RW 04, Ciwalen Subdistrict, Garut; (2) the attitudes and practices of instilling values of tolerance among adolescents within this multicultural community; (3) the practices of instilling tolerance values for adolescents in the multicultural environment of RW 04, Ciwalen Subdistrict, Garut, from the perspective of Islamic Education. This research explores the phenomena or practices of inculcating tolerance values among adolescents in RW 04, Ciwalen Subdistrict, Garut, and examines these practices through the lens of Islamic Education. The research employs a qualitative descriptive method. The primary data sources include observations, interviews, and documentation. Secondary data sources comprise books and other references, especially the Qur'an and Hadith, relevant to this study. Data processing in this research follows qualitative analysis principles, including data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The findings indicate that the practice of instilling tolerance values among adolescents in the multicultural community of RW 04, Ciwalen Subdistrict, Garut, is conducted in a manner characterized by peace, harmony, simplicity, unity, tolerance, and coexistence. These practices align with the values of tolerance and the essence of multicultural life in accordance with Islamic Education. Abstract

The Akidah Akhlak subject for Grade XI MIA 3 at MAN 2 Garut has faced challenges with fully online learning, particularly during the pandemic. Students often scored below the minimum competency standards (KKM), were less active during the learning process, and exhibited a lack of discipline, such as attending lessons late. To address these issues, the blended learning model is proposed as a suitable solution. This model integrates both online and offline learning, with each accounting for 50% of the instructional time. Blended learning is expected to enhance students' academic performance across cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains. The objectives of this study are to: (1) describe the academic performance profile of students in the Akidah Akhlak subject for Grade XI MIA 3 at MAN 2 Garut, (2) examine the implementation process of the blended learning model in the Akidah Akhlak subject, and (3) assess the impact of the blended learning model on students' academic performance in this subject. The research employs a descriptive survey method, gathering data and information about the studied phenomena through questionnaires, observations, interviews, and document analysis. Questionnaires were distributed to 20 respondents, and data processing involved statistical analysis. The research findings indicate that the blended learning model received an average score of 4.1, placing it in the "very high" category (4.01-5.00 scale), and another average score of 3.6, categorizing it as "high" (3.01-4.00 scale). Student performance in the Akidah Akhlak subject averaged at 4.3, also in the "very high" category, with another score of 3.9, categorized as "high". Statistical tests revealed that the blended learning model accounted for 44.9% of the variance in student performance. Furthermore, t-test results showed a t-value of 3.78, exceeding the t-table value of 1.73. Consequently, the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted, and the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected. These results confirm a significant influence of the blended learning model on student performance in the Akidah Akhlak subject. Abstract

Memorization is a crucial ability required during the learning process, especially when children are engaged in their educational journey. Memorization in the context of learning, particularly memorizing the Quran, involves the efforts to educate, guide, and maintain Quranic memorization. Therefore, children with special needs, specifically those with intellectual disabilities, require specialized instruction for Quranic memorization as the Quran is a guide for all humanity. This study aims to describe: (1) the memorization ability of special needs students in class IX at SLB BC YGP Cibatu in memorizing the Surahs Al-Fiil and Al-Lahab before any intervention, (2) the application of the Wahdah Method for special needs students at SLB BC YGP Cibatu in memorizing the Surahs Al-Fiil and Al-Lahab before any intervention, and (3) the impact of using the Wahdah Method on the memorization abilities of special needs students in class IX at SLB BC YGP Cibatu for the Surahs Al-Fiil and Al-Lahab after the intervention. The sample in this study consists of students with mild intellectual disabilities at SLB BC YGP Cibatu. This research employs the Single Subject Experiment method. Data collection techniques include tests, observations, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that teaching using the Wahdah Method is highly effective in enhancing the memorization abilities of the children, as evidenced by the improvement in scores across all subjects. The data analysis shows that the post-test scores for the first subject in Surah Al-Fiil and Al-Lahab are 92. For the second subject, the score for Surah Al-Lahab is 88, and for Surah Al-Fiil, it is 80. Statistical analysis reveals that the calculated t-value for Surah Al-Lahab is significantly higher than the critical t-value, with 12.04 > 1.000. Similarly, for Surah Al-Fiil, the t-value is 2.37 > 1.000. Based on these results, the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected, and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is a significant impact on the memorization abilities of special needs children using the Wahdah Method at SLB BC YGP Cibatu. Abstract

Interpersonal Intelligence is an individual's ability and skill to create, build, and maintain social relationships. In the context of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) courses, students' interpersonal intelligence has not yet developed adequately. This is evidenced by instances where students exhibit a lack of mutual respect for others' opinions during the learning process, passive participation, hesitation to express their views in front of others, shyness, predominance of more capable students during the learning process, lack of cooperation among group members, and insufficient stimuli encouraging students to express their opinions. The Group Investigation type of cooperative learning model involves students throughout the learning process, which can significantly enhance their interpersonal intelligence. This study aims to describe: (1) the profile of students' interpersonal intelligence in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning, (2) the application of the Group Investigation cooperative learning model in PAI courses for the 11th-grade students at SMAS Asshiddiqiyah, and (3) the effect of the Group Investigation cooperative learning model on the interpersonal intelligence of students in PAI courses for the 11th-grade students at SMAS Asshiddiqiyah. This research employs a descriptive correlational quantitative method. Data collection techniques include observation, questionnaires distributed to 23 respondents, interviews, and documentation studies. Data processing was conducted through statistical data analysis. The findings indicate that the application of the Group Investigation cooperative learning model scored an average of 4.30, which falls within the 4.01-5.00 interval, categorized as very good. Additionally, the improvement in students' interpersonal intelligence in PAI courses scored an average of 4.14 and 4.30, both falling within the 4.01-5.00 interval, also categorized as very good. Statistical tests reveal that the implementation of the Group Investigation cooperative learning model accounts for 65.61% of the improvement in students' interpersonal intelligence, aligning with the functions and objectives of Islamic Religious Education, while 34.39% is influenced by other factors not included in this study. Abstract

Religious literacy involves placing religious literacy practices within the context of ideology and power relations reflected in literacy artifacts (texts). In this study, religious literacy is specifically examined through instructional materials designed to enhance students' understanding in Islamic Religious Education (PAI), particularly in the area of ethics (akhlak). Understanding is defined as students' ability to grasp the literal messages embedded in communication, interpreting theories using their own language. Each student inherently possesses varying levels of comprehension regarding the subject matter presented, especially in PAI ethics. This research aims to determine: The level of students' understanding in the ethics course in the XI MIPA 2 class at SMAN 14 Garut before intervention. The implementation of religious literacy as instructional material in the ethics course in the XI MIPA 2 class at SMAN 14 Garut. The level of students' understanding in the ethics course in the XI MIPA 2 class at SMAN 14 Garut after the intervention. Thus, the study explores the relationship between the use of religious literacy as instructional material and students' comprehension in the ethics course within PAI. The methodology employed in this research is a quantitative experimental approach, gathering data or information on the observed phenomena. Data collection techniques include distributing test questions to 25 respondents, observation, interviews, and document analysis. Data processing is conducted through statistical data analysis. The results indicate a correlation value of 0.70 between the pre-test and post-test scores in student understanding of the ethics material, which falls within the high correlation range of 0.60 to 0.80. The coefficient value suggests that religious literacy impacts 49% of students' understanding in the ethics material in the XI MIPA 2 class at SMAN 14 Garut, while 51% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study. Additionally, the calculated t-value (4.73) is greater than the t-table value (1.71), leading to the rejection of the null hypothesis (H0) and acceptance of the alternative hypothesis (Ha). This means that utilizing religious literacy as instructional material significantly enhances students' comprehension in the PAI ethics course. Abstract

The ability of students to comprehend material is crucial as it supports other necessary skills they must acquire. However, in Class XI MIA MA An-Nashr, many students have yet to meet the required proficiency criteria. Therefore, a stimulus is needed to assist students in achieving the desired cognitive learning outcomes. The objective of this study is to determine the effect of using the sociodrama method on students' cognitive learning outcomes. The research employs an experimental method with a pretest-posttest control group design. Data were collected through questionnaires, observations, interviews, and documentation. The analysis reveals that the calculated t-value exceeds the critical t-value (t_calculated > t_critical), specifically 13.63 ≥ 1.685. Consequently, the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected, and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. This leads to the conclusion that the sociodrama method significantly impacts the cognitive learning outcomes of students in the subject of Islamic Cultural History. Abstract

Responsibility is defined as an individual's willingness to bear the consequences of their decisions regarding choices made, accepted with full willingness, awareness, and commitment. Currently, the level of responsibility among students in Islamic religious education is lacking, with many students not fully recognizing their responsibilities, particularly in their studies. The Jigsaw cooperative learning model, which emphasizes collaboration and mutual dependence among students, has the potential to enhance their sense of responsibility. This study aims to describe: (1) the profile of student responsibility in Islamic religious education in grade XI at SMA Ciledug before the intervention, (2) the application of the Jigsaw cooperative learning model in Islamic religious education in grade XI at SMA Ciledug, and (3) the impact of the Jigsaw cooperative learning model on the sense of responsibility among students in grade XI at SMA Ciledug after the intervention. The research employed a pre-experimental method with a One-Group Pretest-Posttest design. Data collection techniques included observation, questionnaires distributed to 17 respondents, and document studies. Data analysis was conducted using statistical methods. The results, based on statistical analysis, indicate that the calculated t-value is greater than the t-table value (t_calculated > t_table), with a t-value of -6.696 or 6.696 > t-table value of 1.745. Therefore, it can be concluded that the Jigsaw cooperative learning model has a significant impact on enhancing students' sense of responsibility in Islamic religious education in grade XI at SMA Al-Musaddadiyah Garut. Abstract

Cognitive learning outcomes are the results students achieve through learning processes that involve techniques such as memorization and retention, allowing them to master foundational knowledge or understand other concepts. To date, students' cognitive learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) have not developed satisfactorily. Issues include difficulties in understanding the material, inability to explain the concepts taught, and challenges in retaining information. Digital modules engage students actively in the learning process, potentially enhancing their cognitive learning outcomes. This study aims to describe the impact of using digital modules on students' cognitive learning outcomes in PAI instruction. The objective is to assess the relationship between the use of digital modules and the improvement of students' cognitive learning outcomes. The research method employed is descriptive quantitative correlational. Data collection techniques include observation, questionnaires distributed to 35 respondents, and documentation studies. Data processing is conducted through statistical data analysis. The findings of this research reveal that the use of digital modules in learning received an average rating of 4.26, categorized as very good. Additionally, the improvement in students' cognitive learning outcomes in PAI instruction achieved an average rating of 4.32, also categorized as very good. Statistical tests indicate that the use of digital modules accounts for 62.12% of the variation in students' cognitive learning outcomes, aligning with the goals and functions of Islamic Religious Education. Abstract

Cognitive learning outcomes are essential in the educational process as they stimulate students to learn. However, cognitive learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) subjects have been notably low. This is evidenced by mid-term test (UTS) results that have not met the minimum competency standards (KKM), and a significant number of students still struggle to understand the material, indicating a need for optimization in cognitive learning outcomes. The project-based learning model (PBL) has been selected for the PAI subject as a means to improve students' learning outcomes and encourage independent, creative, and innovative learning. This study aims to describe the impact of the project-based learning model on the cognitive learning outcomes of students in the Islamic Religious Education subject for Grade XI IPS 2 at SMAN 19 Bayongbong Garut. The research employs a quantitative descriptive correlational method. Data collection techniques include observation, questionnaires, interviews, and document analysis, with data processing carried out through statistical analysis. The findings indicate that the implementation of the project-based learning model in the PAI subject scored an average of 4.44, placing it within the 4.01 – 5.00 interval, which is categorized as excellent. The improvement in students' cognitive learning outcomes in PAI subjects also averaged 4.03, within the same interval of 4.01 – 5.00, indicating a very good category. Based on statistical testing using simple regression analysis, project-based learning was found to influence cognitive learning outcomes by 60.10%, aligning with the functions and objectives of Islamic Religious Education. Abstract

Student creativity is a skill that students have to create or produce something new. Creativity can also be defined as a person's ability to see various possible solutions to problems by creating something new, both in the form of ideas and in the form of real works, both new works and combinations of existing things. However, in fact the learning creativity of students at SMA Plus Al-Qomariyah Garut shows that it is still low, this is evidenced by the findings of researchers when learning takes place. Students who have shown creativity are only about 25% and 75% of students still have not shown creativity. Social media Instagram is one of the developments in social media which is one of the trending choices and is widely used by students every day. Thus the researcher will try to use product evaluation by assigning students to create da'wah content by posting da'wah videos on the Instagram social media platform. The purpose of this study was to find out the use of Instagram social media in increasing student creativity in PAI subjects, Dakwah material K.D 1.1 in Class X IPS 1 SMA Plus Al-Qomariyah Sukaresmi Garut. The method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR), which is a form of reflective and collective research conducted by researchers in social situations to improve their social practice reasoning. The data sources used in this study are primary sources and secondary sources. Data collection techniques in this study were observation and documentation. The data analysis techniques in this study are planning, action, observation, and reflection. Utami Munandar argues that creativity is the result of interactions between individuals and their environment. The results of this study indicate that the use of Instagram social media can increase student creativity by fulfilling 5 indicators of student creativity including; broad and deep curiosity, often asks good questions, gives many ideas or suggestions for a problem, is able to see a problem from various perspectives/points of view, and has imagination.
