Abstract

Student comprehension is the ability to understand instructions or problems, interpret them, and rephrase them in one's own words. Currently, comprehension levels among students in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) are still low, as evidenced by students' inability to properly understand and explain the material presented, or to summarize it using their own words. Therefore, innovative and varied learning models are needed, such as the cooperative learning model "Make a Match," which can be applied across different classes and subjects. The cooperative learning model "Make a Match" involves students finding pairs while learning about a concept or topic in an enjoyable environment, thereby enhancing their comprehension. This research aims to describe the impact of the cooperative learning model "Make a Match" on student comprehension in PAI. The research method employed is experimental. Data collection techniques include observation, written tests, and documentation studies. Data processing was conducted through statistical data analysis. The population of this study consists of all eighth-grade students at SMPN 1 Tarogong Kidul Garut, totaling 370 students. The sample includes 33 students from class VIII A as the experimental group and 33 students from class VIII J as the control group. The results show that the average pre-test score for the experimental class was 71.15, while the control class scored 71.52. After implementing the "Make a Match" cooperative learning model, the average post-test score in the experimental class increased to 89.06, compared to 82.24 in the control class, which used the lecture method. Based on the t-test results, the calculated t-value (5.26) was greater than the critical t-value (2.00). Thus, it can be concluded that the "Make a Match" cooperative learning model has a significant impact on improving student comprehension in PAI classes at SMPN 1 Tarogong Kidul Garut.  Keywords: Cooperative Learning Model "Make a Match"; Student Comprehension; Islamic Religious Education

Abstract

Student understanding is the ability to comprehend problems, interpret, and restate them in one's own words. In terms of understanding, students must master skills such as translating, connecting, and interpreting information. However, in reality, student understanding in the Al-Qur'an Hadith subject in Class XI MIPA at MA Al-Musaddadiyah Garut remains low. This is evidenced by findings showing that many students are unable to explain the material presented and cannot summarize the material using their own words. Observations of the daily test scores for the Al-Qur'an Hadith subject in Class XI MIPA reveal that 51% of students have not yet met the Minimum Mastery Criteria (KKM). This indicates that many students do not have a satisfactory level of understanding. To address this issue, one solution that can be employed is the use of instructional media. One form of educational media that is expected to enhance student understanding is the use of InShot multimedia. InShot multimedia is a combination of text, audio, images, animations, and videos edited using the InShot application and can be presented interactively. The purpose of this study is to describe the effect of using InShot multimedia on student understanding in the Al-Qur'an Hadith subject in Class XI MIPA. The research methodology employed is descriptive with the type of Classroom Action Research (CAR). The data sources utilized in this study include primary and secondary sources. Data collection techniques involve observation, interviews, and written tests. Data analysis techniques used in this research include planning, action, observation, and reflection. The results of this study indicate that the use of InShot multimedia can improve student understanding. This is demonstrated by the fulfillment of five indicators of student understanding, namely: the ability to interpret, provide examples, classify, draw inferences, and compare.  Keywords: InShot Multimedia, Student Understanding, Al-Qur'an Hadith Subject

Abstract

Affective issues are considered crucial by everyone, yet their implementation remains inadequate. This is due to the complexity of designing affective learning objectives compared to cognitive ones. An evaluation tool is deemed effective if it can assess something with outcomes that reflect the evaluated state. One of the reasons for the lack of attention to affective assessment implementation is the absence of clear affective evaluation tools. The objective of this research is to describe the influence of using attitude assessment tools in the Akidah Akhlak subject on students' affective learning outcomes in Class XI IPS 2 at MA Al-Ashdariyah Pakenjeng Garut. Thus, it aims to determine the extent of influence between attitude assessment tools in the Akidah Akhlak subject (Variable X) and students' affective learning outcomes (Variable Y). This study adopts a quantitative descriptive approach. Data collection methods include observation, documentary study, and distribution of questionnaires to 25 sampled students. Data analysis is conducted through statistical data analysis. The research findings indicate that the use of attitude assessment tools yielded an average score of 1.68, falling within the range of 1.01-5.00, classified as "Very Good." This suggests an improvement in students' attitudes following the use of these assessment tools in the Akidah Akhlak subject. Meanwhile, students' affective learning outcomes averaged 1.6, falling within the range of 1.01-5.00, also classified as "Very Good." This demonstrates that using attitude assessment tools is an effective solution to enhance students' affective learning outcomes. Based on statistical analysis, there is a significant influence (72.3785%) of attitude assessment tool usage on affective learning outcomes, while 27.6215% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study.  Keywords: Evaluation Tool, Affective Domain, Akidah Akhlak Subject

Abstract

Culture is a multifaceted concept that encompasses how people live, think, feel, believe, and seek what aligns with their cultural norms. Cultural phenomena represent the human way of life, shaped by human creativity, emotion, and the divine will. The interplay between religion and culture is profound, leading to the emergence of ethnopedagogy. Ethnopedagogy is an educational praxis rooted in local wisdom, encompassing various domains. It views local wisdom as a source of innovation and skills that can be harnessed for societal benefit. This study aims to describe the Ethnopedagogical Approach in Islamic Religious Education. The research adopts a library-based approach (Library Research), involving an examination of written sources on Ethnopedagogy and Islamic Religious Education as discussed by experts. The qualitative research method is employed, focusing on content analysis of Ethnopedagogy and relevant textual materials. The findings indicate that the Ethnopedagogical approach in Islamic Religious Education emphasizes an educational model that consistently integrates local cultural values and religious principles, considering both cultural and religious aspects on a global scale. Abstract

This research discusses increasing students' learning activities in learning about Islam through animation media assisted by the Canva application. Learning activities are activities that require students to play an active role in the learning process. However, in reality, students' learning activities are currently still relatively low. This is proven by the results of observations which show that only around 35% of the 30 students can be said to be effective in learning activities so that a learning stimulus is needed, one of which is using learning media, namely animation media which can be created through the Canva application. Canva is one of the many applications that can be used to design learning media, including animation media, in which there are lots of templates available that can be used easily. The aim of this research is to describe the significance of the use of animation media assisted by the Canva application to increase students' learning activities in Islamic religious learning. This research uses a type of Classroom Action Research (CAR) or often called CAR (Classroom Action Research). Data collection techniques include observation, questionnaires, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique uses statistical analysis techniques, in PTK only uses simple statistical formulas to find the average value and percentage of learning completeness. Based on the results of classroom action research carried out in two cycles, there was an increase in learning activities in cycle I to 57%, then there was an increase again in cycle II to 86%. Thus, it can be understood that there is a significant increase in student learning activities of 22% from pre-cycle to cycle I and 29% from cycle I to cycle II. So, overall there was an increase in student learning activities with a significance of 51% from pre-cycle to cycle II. Keywords: Learning Activities, Animation Media, Islamic Religion Instruction.

Abstract

Children who have limitations in development or are born with physical or non-physical deficiencies are considered abnormal people. One of them is a child with a disability, they have intellectual retardation. Many people around think that these children do not need to learn and worship. In contrast, the Islamic view of humans is only seen from faith. To get faith in accordance with the rules that Allah has determined. The purpose of this study is to describe the use of interactive multimedia in meeting the needs of learning Islamic religion in the cognitive domain in children with disabilities. Researchers used a qualitative approach with a case study type of research.  Data analysis techniques through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the fulfillment of Islamic learning needs by using interactive multimedia can meet the cognitive learning needs of the knowledge and understanding level, namely knowing and understanding the names and duties of angels by pairing the names and duties of the appropriate angels in completing the fuzzle game.  Keywords: Interactive Multimedia, Learning Needs, PAI, Cognitive.

Abstract

This research examines increasing students' interest in learning PAI through non-cognitive diagnostic assessments in Phase B SDIT Al-Furqon Garut. Interest is a process that gives enthusiasm, direction and persistence of behavior. This means that motivated behavior is behavior that is full of energy, directed and long-lasting. In learning activities, motivation can be said to be the overall driving force within students which gives rise to learning activities, which ensures the continuity of learning activities and provides direction to learning activities, so that the goals desired by the learning subject can be achieved. However, in reality, students' interest in learning in Phase B SDIT Al-Furqon Garut is still low, this is proven by the results of pre-research observations. About 34% of the 26 students showed that they already had an interest in learning, so stimulus was needed, one of which was carrying out a non-cognitive diagnostic assessment before carrying out learning activities. The aim of this research is to describe the significance of using non-cognitive diagnostic assessments to increase students' learning interest in PAI learning in Phase B SDIT Al-Furqon Garut. The method used in this research is the Classroom Action Research (PTK) method. Data collection techniques include observation, questionnaires, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique in PTK only uses simple statistical formulas to find the average value and percentage of learning completeness. Based on the results of classroom action research carried out in two cycles, there was an increase in students' interest in learning in cycle I to 45%, then experienced another increase in cycle II to 80%. It can be understood that there is a significant increase in students' learning demands of 22% from pre-cycle to cycle I and 30% from cycle I to cycle II. So overall there is an increase in students' interest in learning with a significance of 50% from pre-cycle to cycle II. Abstract

Understanding is defined as the level of understanding of a student taking lessons given by a teacher or being able to understand something after something can be known and remembered. So far, students' understanding of Islamic Cultural History subjects is still low, from the results of student tests as many as 46% of students have not met the KKM (Minimum Criteria Completeness), this can be caused by a lack of variety of methods. Therefore, it is necessary to innovate varied learning methods, such as using the role-playing method is a learning method that involves students directly to act out a story in real life.The purpose of this study was to describe the effect of the role-playing method on student understanding of Islamic Cultural History subjects. The research method uses quantitative experiments. Data collection techniques by means of observation, tests and documentation studies. While data processing using statistical data analysis. The results showed that the average pretest of the experimental class was 71.9 after being treated with the role-playing method, the average posstest value increased to 90.4, while the average pretest value of the control class was 72.4 after being given treatment that did not use the role-playing method, the average posstest value was 80.1. based on the results of hypothesis testing, the posstest results of the experimental class and control class obtained Thitung (4.348) and Ttabel (2.001) with db = 58, then Thitung = 4.348 < Ttabel = 2.001. So it can be concluded that there is an effect of the role-playing method on student understanding of Islamic Cultural History material in class VIII Mts An-Nashr Tarogong Kaler Garut. Abstract

This research discusses the use of Mastery LearningStrategies in learning jurisprudence to improve students' skills in class vii f prayer at MTs Cikajang Garut. students' skills in prayer are the driving force within the individual that gives rise to learning activities that ensure the continuity of learning activities and that provide direction to learning activities so that the desired goals will be achieved. however, in reality, students' skills in praying in class vii f mts cikajang garut are still relatively low, this is proven by the results of pre-research observations which show that only around 26% of 35 have skilled learning skills so that stimulus is needed, one of which is using the Mastery Learningstrategy. The objectives of this research are 1) to describe the use of the Mastery Learningstrategy in the learning of fiqh class vii f at MTs Cikajang Garut; 2)describe students' skills in praying in class vii f at MTs Cikajang garut; 3) describe the Mastery Learningstrategy in learning fiqh to improve students' skills in praying in class vii f at MTs Cikajang garut. The method used is classroom action research (ptk). data collection techniques include observation, questionnaires, interviews and documentation. the data analysis technique in ptk only uses simple statistical formulas to find the average value and percentage of learning completeness. The results of this research show that there was an increase in students' skill activities in prayer in cycle i to 51%, then there was an increase again in cycle ii to 100%. it can be seen that there is an increase in students' skills in prayer by 25% from pre-cycle to cycle i and by 49% from cycle i to cycle ii. so, overall there was an increase in students' learning skills in prayer with a significance of 74% from pre-cycle to cycle II Keywords; Mastery Learningstrategy; jurisprudence learning; prayer worship

Abstract

Students' religious spiritual attitude is the ability of students to behave both vertically to Allah SWT. or vertically to fellow humans and nature.  The inability to behave and think which is also not based on religious teachings will have an impact on life patterns / habits that are far from the happiness of the world and the hereafter. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out the habituation of reading the Koran as a stimulus in shaping students' religious spirituality. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to describe how the impact of reading the Qur'an on students' religious spiritual attitudes. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach which aims to describe conditions based on actual conditions in the field. Data collection is done through interviews, observation, and documentation. Data validity is done through data triangulation. Meanwhile, the analysis was carried out through data collection, data reduction, and conclusion making. The results showed that the habit of reading the Qur'an on the spiritual attitude of religious students at Mts Al Mukhtariyah Bayongbong Garut has a positive impact on the formation of student character in carrying out daily worship and has the ability to stimulate awareness of the importance of living life based on the concept of education based on religious teachings.
