Abstract

This research aims to describe some efforts to maintain Toraja language as the mother language of Torajan people from the threat of extinction. This paper used a qualitative descriptive study. As it is conceptual writing of a preliminary study, this paper only presents some examples of the two varieties of Torajan language used in society. It proposes some suggested efforts on how to anticipate the extinction of the language concerned in the future. The results indicate some very important suggested efforts to maintain the two varieties (ordinary language and ritual language as used in both thanksgiving ceremony called Rambu Tuka' and death ceremony called Rambu Solo') of Torajan language that requires attention from different parties. As a part of Torajan culture, Torajan language in various uses contains values and norms as the local wisdom. Therefore, various parties should involve in its maintenance, such as governmental institutions, educational institutions, social institutions, and religious institutions in doing research, providing various written documentations, and socializing or disseminating them among the community in general and the schools at all levels in particular for continuous consumption.

Abstract

The presence of technology in the community, especially for farmers, can increase access to information, such as information about better and up-to-date agricultural techniques and market information will greatly help farmers in improving the quality and quantity of production that will encourage village economic growth and farmer welfare. The method used in the implementation of PKM activities uses an interactive discussion method with the local farming community accompanied by practice, a kind of tutorial in utilizing various mobile phone features owned by the community. The result of this study is that people know about how to upload images of agricultural production and market them through their social media, including accessing several marketplace links that allow people to market their agricultural products.

Abstract

Kabupaten Maros yang terletak sekitar 30 km sebelah utara Kota Makassar memiliki luas wilayah 1.619,12 km² dengan 14 kecamatan dan 103 desa/kelurahan. Wilayah ini meliputi daratan dan pegunungan dengan komoditas pertanian unggulan seperti padi, jagung, kedelai, kacang tanah, singkong dan ubi jalar. Maros juga dikenal dengan sektor pertambangan dan pariwisatanya, termasuk Taman Nasional Bantimurung-Bulusaraung dan Rammang-Rammang, objek wisata karst terbesar kedua di dunia. Sebagai pintu gerbang ke wilayah Mamminasata bagian utara, Maros memiliki peran penting dalam pembangunan Makassar. Pemerintah Kabupaten Maros fokus pemberdayaan masyarakat desa melalui literasi digital, berkolaborasi dengan ADPERTISI dalam kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM). Pada tanggal 13 Juli 2024, dilakukan sosialisasi pemanfaatan teknologi dengan perkuliahan, tutorial dan diskusi. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh orang-orang yang antusias meskipun mengalami masalah jaringan internet.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of risk management as a moderating variable in strengthening the relationship between financial literacy and investment decisions. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected from 50 respondents in Indonesia who had at least one year of investment experience. Data analysis was conducted using the Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method. The results showed that financial literacy has a positive but insignificant effect on investment decisions. In contrast, risk management is proven to have a positive and significant effect on investment decisions, and is able to significantly moderate the relationship between financial literacy and investment decisions. These findings confirm that financial literacy alone is not enough; risk management skills are essential to improve the quality of investment decision making. This study provides theoretical contributions by integrating financial literacy and risk management as important factors in investment behavior, and offers practical recommendations to improve risk literacy and awareness in the community.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh motivasi kerja, lingkungan kerja, dan disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan di PT. Asri Tritunggal Property. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 80 karyawan yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa motivasi kerja dan lingkungan kerja tidak memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, dengan nilai t hitung masing-masing sebesar 1,822 dan 1,698 (di bawah t tabel 1,96) serta p-value lebih besar dari 0,05. Sebaliknya, disiplin kerja terbukti berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan t hitung sebesar 4,181 dan p-value < 0,05. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa peningkatan disiplin kerja merupakan faktor kunci dalam meningkatkan kinerja karyawan. Oleh karena itu, manajemen perusahaan perlu menerapkan sistem pengawasan yang lebih ketat dan pemberian penghargaan untuk mendorong kedisiplinan karyawan. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi bagi akademisi dan praktisi dalam memahami faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan di sektor properti.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tentang Penerapan Sistem Pengendalian Intern Pemerintah dalam mewujudkan Good Governance Pada Biro Umum Sekretariat Daerah Provinsi Papua Tengah. Jenis penelitian dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Obyek penelitian di Biro Umum Sekretariat Daerah Provinsi Papua Tengah. Sumber data dari data primer dan data sekunder. Metode pengumpulan data: observasi, wawancara dokumentasi. Informan pada penelitian ini sebanyak 6 orang pegawai di Sekretariat Daerah Provinsi Papua Tengah. Teknik analisis data dengan analisis deskriftif kualitatif, mulai dari pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa Penerapan Sistem Pengendalian Intern Pemerintah (SPIP) di Biro Umum Sekretariat Daerah Provinsi Papua Tengah hampir memenuhi semua komponen pada SPIP, yaitu terdapat pelatihan bagi pegawai, pemanfaatan teknologi dan Sistem Informasi, ada pembatasan akses terhadap informasi penting, pengawasan secara berkala dan tindak lanjut yang dilakukan terhadap temuan audit. Penerapan SPIP di Sekretariat Daerah Provinsi Papua Tengah mendukung terciptanya Good Governance.Kata Kunci: Penerapan,  SPIP, Good Governance

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the implementation of the Government Internal Control System (SPIP) in realizing Good Governance at the General Bureau of the Regional Secretariat of Central Papua Province. The research employs a qualitative approach. The informants in this study comprise six employees from the General Bureau of the Regional Secretariat of Central Papua Province. The data analysis technique employed is qualitative descriptive analysis, which involves collecting, reducing, presenting, and drawing conclusions from the data. This study concludes that: 1) The implementation of the Government Internal Control System (SPIP) in the General Bureau of the Regional Secretariat of Central Papua Province is carried out by establishing clear policies and procedures for internal control, providing routine training for employees, forming a special team to supervise and evaluate the implementation of SPIP periodically,  implementing information technology, and involving external oversight. 2) The obstacles to implementing SPIP in the General Bureau of the Regional Secretariat of Central Papua Province include a lack of understanding and awareness among employees, limited human resources, inadequate information technology infrastructure, resistance to change, and difficulties in integrating SPIP. 3) Implementing the Government Internal Control System (SPIP) at the Central Papua Province Regional Secretariat has benefits in creating public trust in the government. With an open and accountable system, the public feels more involved in the government process, encouraging increased public participation and supporting the creation of Good Governance. SPIP is crucial in ensuring transparent, accountable, and trustworthy financial management.

Abstract

Access to financing remains a major challenge for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in rural Indonesia. The People's Business Credit (KUR) program is present as a government effort to expand access to financing, but credit performance, especially the collectability level is still a concern. This study aims to analyze the effect of customer compliance on the level of credit collectibility of KUR recipients in Lekopancing Village, Maros Regency. This research used an explanatory quantitative approach with a sample size of 200 respondents taken by simple random sampling from a population of 415 KUR customers. The data analysis technique used was Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the help of AMOS software. The results showed that customer compliance had a positive and significant effect on the level of credit collectibility (standardized coefficient = 0.68; p < 0.001), indicating that the higher the level of compliance, the better the credit quality as reflected in the collectability classification. This finding corroborates the theoretical link between debtor behavior and credit risk management, particularly in the context of rural banking. This study provides an empirical contribution at the micro level that has been under-explored, and emphasizes the importance of improving customer compliance in supporting the sustainability of inclusive financing programs such as KUR. Future research is recommended to explore the application of a mixed-method approach, which combines quantitative and qualitative data, to gain a more thorough understanding of compliance behavior and credit risk.
