Abstract

Chaff waste which has no economic value will become of high value after being converted into rice bran through the milling process. Rice bran is very much in demand because it provides many benefits. The abundant and abundant availability of husk waste and only being left and burned is of course a problem due to the lack of information on utilizing this waste. By processing rice husk waste, it can be used as animal feed for boiler chicken and free-range chicken rations for residents who have poultry such as chickens. Furthermore, bran which is a by-product of the rice milling process can also be a staple food with high nutritional value. Bran has a high nutritional content, and so far only often used as animal feed can also be consumed with various properties, such as having a high content of B vitamins namely thiamine, niacin and B6 which play an important role in energy production, cardiovascular health and preventing depression It is also considered as a source of natural fiber. In order to be able to utilize the abundant rice husk waste, an appropriate technology design is carried out in processing rice husk waste in the Wanasigra village community into various alternative results of processing this waste to support food security. The results and outputs of community service activities for the food security scheme (PBM-KP) for the Wanasigra Village community, namely residents becoming more independent, residents can maintain the food security of their families, residents and farmer groups gain knowledge through coaching and counseling in utilizing the results from the design of rice husk waste processing technology , providing assistance to target partners to be more independent in processing rice husk waste, food availability, earning additional income for their families. The method used in the service is through counseling, discussion, mentoring and introduction and design of technology to marketing through agricultural experts appointed by external parties. Sales are facilitated by the appointed chairman to distribute to other areas outside the Wanasigra village.

Abstract

This Community Service Activity aims to empower women entrepreneurs in Nganjuk Regency through training in processing banana heart and catfish into shredded fish. This program was initiated to improve the skills and economic income of women's groups, as well as to optimize the utilization of abundant but underutilized local resources. The criteria for women entrepreneurs who participate in this program are 1) women entrepreneurs who are members of the Nganjuk Regency UMKM, 2) have an interest in catfish processing and 3) women entrepreneurs who play an active role in developing the creative economy. The methods used include analysis of needs problems, technical training in raw material processing, business management, and shredded fish product marketing strategies, monitoring and evaluation. This activity was carried out at the Village Hall of Kauman Village, Nganjuk District, Nganjuk Regency. The results of this activity showed a significant increase in technical skills, business knowledge, and income of the women's groups involved. In addition, participants were able to learn business management and marketing strategies that helped them develop their businesses professionally and sustainably.. The success of this activity confirms that appropriate training and empowerment can produce sustainable positive changes and become a model that can be applied in other areas.

Abstract

Jember Regency was in the spotlight for the prevalence of stunted toddlers, reaching the highest rank in East Java with a figure of 34.9% in 2022. Teaching Factory Nutrition Care Center (NCC) has nutritional catering services with Managed Health Meal and Kids Meal packages. However, the ordering process was still done via telephone or chat from social media groups. The research objective was to generate an online application for Nutrition Care Center (NCC) called NCC-Food to encourage purchases of Nutrition Care Center products. It used the waterfall method, consisting of system investigation, system analysis, system design, system implementation, and system maintenance. Meanwhile, this article is limited to system design. The results showed that Delivery NCC Food Apps facilitates clients/patients to order nutritious food online according to nutritional adequacy rate needs, particularly for stunted toddlers. The research is expected to promote and improve the accessibility of healthy foods, in particular for stunted toddlers; therefore, the prevalence of stunting is expected to decrease significantly.

Abstract

Abstrak. Kemampuan komunikasi matematik merupakan kemampuan mengekspresikan ide-ide matematis melalui lisan maupun tulisan, menggambarkan secara visual serta kemampuan dalam mnggunakan istilah-istilah dan notasi-notasi matematika untuk menyajikan ide matematis melalui tulisan. Untuk memunculkankemampuan komunikasi matematik, akan dibuat media yang berupa komik. Komik tersebut mengandung materi-materi matematika yang dikemas apik sehingga membuat siswa tertarik. Komik yang dimaksud disebut dengan komik matematika. Komik matematika merupakan media pembelajaran menyajikan materi pembelajaran matematika yang dikemas dalam bentuk sebuah komik dan memiliki sebuah alur seolahmenjadi sebuah cerita yang berhubungan dengan materi matematika. Berdasarkan uraian di atas, rumusan masalah pada penelitian ini adalah bagaimana membangun komunikasi matematis siswa menggunakan media komik dalam pembelajaran matematika. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui cara membangun komunikasi matematis siswa menggunakan media komik dalam pembelajaran matematika. Dilihatdari permasalahan yang akan dibahas pada penelitian ini penulis akan menggunakan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Pola penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SDN Balongmojo kec. Puri Mojokerto yang beralamatkan di Dusun Setoyo, Desa Balongmojo, kec. Puri Kabupaten Mojokerto. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan komunikasi matematik siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal bangun ruang setelah diterapkan penggunaan komik matematika yaitu: Kemampuan komunikasi matematik siswa yang tergolong dalam kemampuan tinggi subjek NF dan SP, kemampuan sedang adalah subjek DR, IR dan RR dalam menyelesaikan soal bangun ruang termasuk kriteria baik. Kemampuan komunikasi metematik siswa yang tergolong dalam kemampuan rendah adalah subjek HS. Kata kunci: kemampuan komunikasi matematika, komik matematika

Abstract

Media e-learning adalah media elektronik berbantuan internet yang dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai media pembelajaran matematika. Adapun salah satu materi pada pembelajaran matematika yang seringkali menggunakan media elektronik ialah materi geometri. Hal ini dikarenakan materi geometri memuat konsep abstrak yang memerlukan visualisasi interaktif.  Adapun tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui seberapa besar efektivitas penggunaan media e-learning dalam hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi geometri yang dianalisis berdasarkan  jenjang pendidikan dan wilayah penelitian, sehingga diperoleh suatu rangkuman melalui meta analisis. Penelitian meta analisis ini menganalisis 23 artikel penelitian dari dalam negeri yang terdiri dari jurnal, prosiding, dan skripsi yang membahas tentang penggunaan berbagai macam bentuk media e-learning dalam membantu pembelajaran materi geometri. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diperoleh rerata effect size sebesar 0,97 yang termasuk dalam kategori effect size besar. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media e-learning dalam membelajarkan  materi geometri memberikan pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan.

Abstract

Penelitian akhir-akhir ini memusatkan perhatian pada pengembangan struktur pemikiran matematika anak-anak prasekolah, termasuk diantaranya aljabar awal. Ada semakin banyak bukti yang menyatakan bahwa kesadaran struktur matematika sangat penting untuk kompetensi matematika di kalangan anak-anak prasekolah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan kesadaran anak prasekolah pada aktivitas pola. Pada penelitian ini menyediakan bukti pendukung yang diambil dari KB-TK ‘Aisyiyah Nganjuk kelas A sebanyak 3 anak, diantaranya 1 anak dengan kemampuan tinggi, 1 anak dengan kemampuan sedang, dan 1 anak dengan kemampuan rendah. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: pertama,  anak-anak memiliki pemahaman yang secara signifikan lebih besar dari repeating pattern daripada growing pattern. Growing pattern lebih sulit daripada repeating pattern. Kedua, banyak dari anak-anak prasekolah melihat repeating pattern memiliki titik awal tertentu, menyiratkan bahwa mereka tidak melihat repeating pattern sebagai perluasan di kedua arah. Mereka menganggap bahwa pola AB berbeda dengan pola BA. Ketiga, anak-anak prasekolah dapat mengungkapkan generalisasi pola. Kata Kunci: kesadaran, struktur, anak prasekolah, aktivitas pola

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe students' mathematical abstraction abilities in terms of the types of learning styles diverger, accommodator, converger, and assimilator. This research is a qualitative research with research subjects namely students of class VIII SMP. Of the 16 research subjects, one subject was selected in each Kolb learning style group based onbasis purposive. The instruments used in this study were Kolb's learning style questionnaire, mathematical abstraction test questions, and interviews. Mathematical abstraction ability tests are given online viamedia google slides. Based on the data analysis, it is concluded that (1) Student with diverger learning styles can complete indicators of mathematical abstraction ability, except indicators make generalizations. (2) Student with an accommodator learning style can complete indicators of mathematical abstraction ability unless the indicator identifies the characteristics of the object being manipulated or imagined and the indicator makes generalizations. (3) Students with converger and assimilator learning styles can solve all indicators of mathematical abstraction ability.
