Abstract

Penelitian ini menerapkan metode eksperimen untuk mengetahui pengaruh  penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw terhadap kemampuan koneksi dan komunikasi matematik peserta didik. Secara rinci penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1)  peningkatan kemampuan koneksi dan komunikasi matematik peserta didik yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw dibandingkan dengan yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan pembelajaran langsung; (2) peningkatan kemampuan koneksi dan komunikasi matematik peserta didik kelompok tinggi, sedang dan rendah yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw; serta (3) sikap siswa terhadap model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik SMK Negeri di Kabupaten Kuningan dengan mengambil sampel 4 kelas dari kelas X Jurusan Pemasaran yang ada di SMK Negeri 2 Kuningan. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi soal tes kemampuan koneksi dan komunikasi matematik siswa dan angket sikap yang digunakan untuk mengetahui sikap peserta didik terhadap model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw. Analisis data menggunakan uji perbedaan dua rata-rata untuk mengetahui peningkatan yang lebih baik antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol serta ANOVA satu arah dengan uji Scheffe untuk mengetahui peningkatan yang lebih baik antara kelompok tinggi,  sedang dan rendah. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan pada sekolah level tinggi maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa peningkatan kemampuan koneksi dan komunikasi matematik peserta didik yang  mengikuti pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw lebih baik dari peserta didik yang mengikuti  pembelajaran langsung. Peningkatan kemampuan koneksi dan komunikasi matematik peserta didik kelompok sedang lebih baik dari kelompok tinggi dan rendah yang  mengikuti pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw, serta peserta didik menunjukkan sikap positif terhadap model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw. Oleh karena itu, guru hendaknya dapat mengubah paradigma pembelajaran matematika di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan dari yang menekankan pada hasil berpikir ke yang menekankan pada proses berpikir. Guru juga hendaknya mempersiapkan terlebih dahulu pembelajaran dengan cara mendesain posisi tempat duduk sebelum pembelajaran dimulai sehingga waktu yang telah ditetapkan digunakan dengan tepat. Kata kunci: Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Jigsaw, Kemampuan Koneksi Matematik, Kemampuan Komunikasi Matematik, Sikap Peserta Didik. ABSTRACT This experimental researh was aimed at inverstigating the effect of applying  Jigsaw cooperative learning model on students mathematical connection and communication abilities, as well as identiying students attitude toward Jigsaw Cooperative Learning model.. The population of this study was all students of SMK Negeri in Kuningan, while the sample was four classes of  grade X of the Marketing Department at  SMK Negeri 2 Kuningan. Data was collected through test on mathematical connection and communication ability, as well as  attitude scale. Independent samples t-Test and One Way ANOVA with Scheffe Test were used to analyze the data. The results showed that:  abilities  improvement on mathematical connection and communication abilities ofstudents who attended instructions with  Jigsaw Cooperative Learning Model were better than those attended direct instruction; in the group treated through Jigsaw Cooperative Learning Model, the  improvement of mathematical connection and communication abilities of medium group were better than high and low groups; and students showed positive attitude toward Jigsaw Cooperative Learning Model. Keywords: Jigsaw Cooperative Learning Model, Ability of Mathematical Connection, Ability of Mathematical Communication,  Students’  Attitude.

Abstract

This study aimed to see the increase of students’ mathematical connection by using model Means-Ends Analysis (MEA), and knowing how students’ learning motivation. The method used was an experimental pretest-posttest design. The study population were all students of class VIII SMP Negeri 3 Manonjaya as much as 121 students. Samples were taken by random technique become experiment class (30 students) and control class (30 students). The research instrument used test questions and questionnaires of mathematical connection. Data analysis concluded there was an increase in the students’ mathematical connection by using model Means-Ends Analysis (MEA), and students’ learning motivation of learning with Means-Ends Analysis (MEA) model was in high level.

Abstract

Chaff waste which has no economic value will become of high value after being converted into rice bran through the milling process. Rice bran is very much in demand because it provides many benefits. The abundant and abundant availability of husk waste and only being left and burned is of course a problem due to the lack of information on utilizing this waste. By processing rice husk waste, it can be used as animal feed for boiler chicken and free-range chicken rations for residents who have poultry such as chickens. Furthermore, bran which is a by-product of the rice milling process can also be a staple food with high nutritional value. Bran has a high nutritional content, and so far only often used as animal feed can also be consumed with various properties, such as having a high content of B vitamins namely thiamine, niacin and B6 which play an important role in energy production, cardiovascular health and preventing depression It is also considered as a source of natural fiber. In order to be able to utilize the abundant rice husk waste, an appropriate technology design is carried out in processing rice husk waste in the Wanasigra village community into various alternative results of processing this waste to support food security. The results and outputs of community service activities for the food security scheme (PBM-KP) for the Wanasigra Village community, namely residents becoming more independent, residents can maintain the food security of their families, residents and farmer groups gain knowledge through coaching and counseling in utilizing the results from the design of rice husk waste processing technology , providing assistance to target partners to be more independent in processing rice husk waste, food availability, earning additional income for their families. The method used in the service is through counseling, discussion, mentoring and introduction and design of technology to marketing through agricultural experts appointed by external parties. Sales are facilitated by the appointed chairman to distribute to other areas outside the Wanasigra village.

Abstract

Education inclusion is an approach aimed at ensuring that children with various needs receive equal and supportive education. The inclusion program at TKIT Lentera Insan CDEC Depok provides valuable opportunities for children with special needs to socialize and integrate into the school community. The role of special education teachers is crucial in creating a conducive learning environment. This article discusses the role of special education teachers in supporting the inclusion program at TKIT Lentera Insan CDEC Depok, with a focus on their efforts to ensure the success of children with special needs.

Abstract

To improve students' mathematical reasoning abilities, it is of course important to look at cognitive and affective aspects together, to see more broadly whether affective factors play an important role in mathematical reasoning abilities. This research aims to determine the differences in self-efficacy between male and female genders, differences in mathematical reasoning abilities between male and female genders, and the influence of self-efficacy on students' mathematical reasoning abilities in terms of gender. The research method used in this research is a correlational method with an ex post facto research design. The population of this study were all class VII students at SMP Negeri 20 Tasikmalaya. The sample in this research was obtained using non-probability sampling with a purposive sampling technique from the existing population. Classes VII-B, VII-C, VII-D, VII-E were selected as sample classes with a total of 102 students. The data collection technique is by giving a mathematical reasoning ability test and a self-efficacy questionnaire. The data analysis techniques used are descriptive statistical analysis, independent sample t-test, and two way ANOVA. Based on data processing, data analysis, and hypothesis testing, research results showed that (1) There are differences in self-efficacy between male and female genders, (2) There are no differences in students' mathematical reasoning abilities between male and female genders, (3) There is no influence of self-efficacy on students' mathematical reasoning abilities in terms of gender. These findings certainly show that affective aspects do have a role in determining students' abilities, but of course some affective aspects have a significant role, some only influence a small part.

Abstract

Epistemological obstacle merupakan tantangan besar bagi siswa dalam memahami dan menguasai konsep matematika. Epistemological obstacle muncul akibat keterbatasan konteks yang dimiliki oleh siswa, yang dapat mengakibatkan penurunan tingkat pemahaman terhadap konsep matematika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan epistemological obstacle siswa berdasarkan taksonomi SOLO pada materi barisan dan deret geometri. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini diambil dari siswa kelas XE-10 SMA Negeri 7 Tasikmalaya sebanyak 5 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data terdiri dari pemberian soal tes pada materi barisan dan deret geometri dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adanya kecenderungan siswa pada level prastruktural, unistruktural, dan multistruktural, tetapi tidak ada siswa pada level relasional dan extended abstrak. Siswa dengan level prastruktural, unistruktural, dan multistruktural mengalami epistemological obstacle paling banyak pada hambatan konseptual dan prosedural. Siswa cenderung melakukan kesalahan dalam penentuan rumus/definisi tidak ditulis, kesalahan interpretasi permasalahan, kesalahan dalam penentuan dan penerapan langkah-langkah penyelesaian.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan spasial siswa ditinjau dari tipe kepribadian menurut David Keirsey. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan tes tipe kepribadian MBTI, tes kemampuan spasial, dan wawancara tidak terstruktur. Instrumen yang diberikan berupa soal tes kepribadian MBTI dan soal tes kemampuan spasial. Pemilihan subjek penelitian dilakukan dengan cara siswa menjawab seluruh tes kepribadian MBTI kemudian dikelompokkan menjadi tipe kepribadian menurut David Keirsey yaitu guardian, artisan, rational, idealist, dan siswa menjawab soal tes kemampuan spasial tanpa melihat benar atau salah pada materi Bangun Ruang Sisi Datar. Teknik analisis data yang dilakukan yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa subjek dengan tipe kepribadian rational dapat memanipulasi objek, memandang objek dari perspektif berbeda, dan mampu merotasi dan menentukan hubungan antar garis. Sedangkan subjek dengan tipe kepribadian guardian, artisan, dan idealist hanya dapat memanipulasi objek dan memandang objek dari perspektif yang berbeda.

Abstract

This research is aimed to describe the mathematical problem solving abilities with Polya steps to the high school student grade XI based on Honey-Mumford's learning style. This research was qualitative research with descriptive method. Questionnaires, mathematical problem solving ability test, and interview were used as data collection techniques. The research instruments that used here were researcher, Honey-Mumford model learning style questionnaires (LSQ questionnaire), questions for mathematical problem solving ability test, and interview guidelines. The source of the data for this research were students of class XI IPA at SMA Muhamadiyah Singaparna in the academic year 2018/2019. Data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing were used as the data analysis techniques. The results showed that students with activist learning style were able to take steps to understanding the problem, devising a plan, carring out the plan, and then looking back for the question number 1. Meanwhile, Students with reflector learning style were able to take steps to understanding the problem, devising a plan, carring out the plan, and then looking back for the question number 1, and also able to take steps to understanding the problem and carring out the plan for the steps in mathematical problem solving abilities for question number 2. In the other side, students with pragmatic type of learning style were able to take steps to understanding the problem, devising a plan, carring out the plan, looking back for the question number 1, and then carry out the solution plan for question number 2. Other than that, students with theorist learning style were able to take steps to understanding the problem, devising a plan, carring out the plan, and then looking back for the question number 1

Abstract

Training on Assessment of PAUD Teachers in Fulfilling Child Health Standards is a community service program designed with the main aim of increasing the knowledge and skills of Early Childhood Education (PAUD) teachers in assessing children's health. This training also aims to strengthen the capacity of PAUD teachers. in proactively identifying and dealing with various children's health problems, which in turn is expected to produce a healthier learning environment and contribute positively to the growth and development of early childhood in the Pademangan District area, North Jakarta. Through structured training methods, this program focuses on identifying the specific needs of PAUD teachers, preparing relevant training materials, as well as implementing training sessions involving opening and orientation, theory sessions, practical sessions, and evaluation and feedback. It is hoped that through this assessment training, PAUD teachers will be able to more effectively meet child health standards, improve the quality of learning, and make a positive contribution to early childhood development in Pademangan District, North Jakarta.

Abstract

Culturally responsive teaching (CRT) is a pedagogical approach that uses the cultural characteristics, experiences and perspectives of ethnically diverse children as a way to achieve these goals in order to teach more effectively. Meaningful learning is expected to grow through values, culture and character education. This research aims to determine the influence of Culturally Responsive Teaching through values, culture and character education on the Mathematics Learning Outcomes of students in class 7 of SMPN 8 Banjar for the 2023/2024 academic year. This research uses Pre-Experimental Design with a One Group Pretest-Posttest Design research design. The sample in this study was 34 grade 7 students consisting of 14 female students and 20 male students. The data collection technique used in this research is observation. Test data about questions using culturally responsive teaching shows an average pre-test score of 35.44, while the average post-test score is 81.62. Both variances are normally distributed using Kolmogorov-Smirnov with a significance value (sig.) pretest-posttest value 70 is 0.069, value 75 is 0.200, value 80 is 0.200, value 85 is 0.200, and value 90 is 0.084, while using Shapiro-Wilk values The pretest-posttest significance (Sig.) with a score of 70 is 0.228, a score of 75 is 0.782, a score of 80 is 0.314, a score of 85 is 0.314, and a score of 90 is 0.347. Both have the same variance (homogeneous) using Levene's test with an average significance value (sig.) above 0.900, thus the significance value for the normality test and homogeneity test is > 0.05. Culturally Responsive Teaching can improve mathematics learning outcomes based on the results of the Paires Sample T-Test calculation with a significance value of 0.00 < 0.05 so it can be said that there has been an improvement.
