Abstract

This research explores the evaluation of Arabic language learning by teachers at MDTA Al-Jihad. The study focuses on the teaching methods, challenges faced by the teacher, strategies for motivating students, and initiatives for enhancing students' engagement beyond the classroom. The research was conducted through observations and interviews with Arabic language teacher Najwa Amelia, a 22-year-old graduate in Communication and Islamic Broadcasting from UIN Sumatera Utara.

Abstract

One of the learning models included in the 2013 curriculum is the problem-based learning model. The PBL learning model is expected to improve the problem solving abilities of as many students as their problem solving abilities are considered to be still low. The aim of the research carried out by researchers was to determine and verify the impact of implementing the problem-based learning (PBL) model on students' abilities in solving problems, especially mathematics. This research uses a qualitative method by interviewing 4 informants from Pelangi Elementary School. The results of this research are that the problem-based learning (PBL) model has a positive impact on students' problem-solving abilities.

Abstract

This research aiming to produce a product in the form of learning media, namely animated video- based learning media. Then a media validation test was carried out to determine the feasibility and quality of animated video- based learning media in grade IV elementary school science learning. This type of research is development research or Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model which consists of five steps or stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. Data collection techniques are by means of interviews, observations, and questionnaires. The results of the validation test by two validators, namely the media expert validator obtained an average of 9 scores interpreted into the very appropriate category, and the material expert validator obtained scores of 9, 2, and 3 in the very appropriate categories. The students ' response to the media obtained 92% results in the very appropriate category. And the teacher's response to learning media obtained a percentage score of 96% in the very appropriate category. Based on the data that has been obtained, it can be concluded that animated video- based learning media in grade IV elementary school science learning is suitable for use in learning activities.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan karakteristik perkembangan peserta didik anak sekolah dasar usia 11 tahun melalui studi kasus pada seorang siswi bernama Atsila Naura Adzkia. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus, dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perkembangan fisik Atsila berada pada kategori baik ditandai dengan proporsi tubuh yang ideal, stamina kuat, dan koordinasi gerak yang matang. Pada aspek kognitif, anak telah mampu berpikir logis sesuai tahap operasional konkret dengan kekuatan pada pemahaman berbasis media visual. Perkembangan psikomotorik juga berada pada kategori sangat baik, tercermin dari motorik kasar yang aktif dan motorik halus yang berkembang stabil. Dari segi sosial, anak menunjukkan kemampuan beradaptasi, bekerja sama, serta empati yang kuat terhadap teman sebaya. Sementara itu, perkembangan emosional tergolong stabil, karena anak mampu mengekspresikan emosi secara terbuka dan kembali tenang setelah mendapat arahan. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa perkembangan peserta didik usia 11 tahun pada kasus ini berjalan optimal dan harmonis pada seluruh aspek, sehingga dukungan stimulasi lingkungan keluarga dan sekolah serta penerapan metode pembelajaran sesuai gaya belajar sangat diperlukan untuk mengoptimalkan perkembangan anak.
