Abstract: Technology in learning is very useful during the Covid 19 pandemic. Lecturers can choose learning methods by combining offline and online learning, known as blended learning. The aim of this research is to analyze the influence of the project based entrepreneurial science thinking model on the creative thinking of prospective elementary school teacher students. This type of research is quasi-experimental research with research subjects as many as 72 PGSD students. In its implementation, the experimental class was taught using a project based entrepreneurial science thinking model, the control class was a conventional class. The parameters are creative thinking with 4 indicators, namely fluency, flexibility, originality and elaborative. Data collection uses pretest and posttest assessments. Data is presented and analyzed descriptively. Overall research results, the average creative thinking score of elementary school teacher students in the experimental class was 83.50 with an N-gain index of 0.58, higher than in the control class of 71.25 with an N-gain index of 0.28. From the research results, it can be concluded that the project based entrepreneurial science thinking model has an effect on improving the creative thinking abilities of elementary school teacher students, and is more effective than conventional ones in improving teachers' creative thinking in learning.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a practicum guidelines for natural dyes based on Sasambo (Sasak, Samawa, Mbojo) indigenous plants to enhance students' understanding of using natural materials as eco-friendly dyes. The environmental hazards posed by synthetic dyes form the background for the importance of this research. The research method used was Research and Development (R&D) with a 4D model approach (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). The practicum guidelines includes Sasambo indigenous plants, such as Ruellia Simplex, Curcuma longa, Syzygium cumini, Areca catechu, Pouteria campechiana, Clitoria ternatea, Cajanus  cajan, Murraya paniculata, Pandanus amaryllifolius, Ipomoea batatas. Expert validation and lecturer evaluations demonstrated that the developed practicum guidelines for natural dyes based on Sasambo indigenous plants is suitable for use. This is evidenced by its high level of clarity, graphical appeal, and usability, enabling effective student engagement with sustainable practices. Field and laboratory analyses identified ten plants capable of producing vibrant colors, such as purple, yellow, red, orange, blue, black, and green, with added antioxidant and antimicrobial properties. The conclusion of this study is that the developed practicum guidelines can be utilized as an effective learning medium for introducing natural dyes derived from Sasambo indigenous plants, thereby contributing to promoting sustainable industrial practices by leveraging local resources for environmental and economic sustainability.

Abstract

Mangrove ecotourism in Sekotong, Lombok Barat, holds immense potential for education and local economic development. However, there are still limitations in effectively communicating mangrove education information to tourists and local communities. This study aims to determine the role of "Menu of Mangrove" in raising awareness and knowledge about the mangrove ecosystem among Pokdarwis (tourism awareness groups) and visitors, as well as transforming the traditional perspective on ecotourism visits. The research employs a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data collection methods include participant and structured observation, in-depth interviews, FGD (Focus Group Discussion), and document analysis. The data analysis techniques used are descriptive and qualitative analysis. The findings of the study demonstrate that Menu of Mangrove is an effective innovation in enhancing awareness and knowledge about the mangrove ecosystem among Pokdarwis and visitors. Menu of Mangrove also successfully transforms the traditional perspective on mangrove ecotourism visits and motivates Pokdarwis to better understand and conserve the mangrove ecosystem. Keywords: Menu of Mangrove, Mangrove Ecotourism, Mangrove Education

Abstract

The primary issue in higher education is the low level of scientific attitudes among students, which include curiosity, open-mindedness, and environmental sensitivity. One approach to addressing this problem is through the project based learning (PjBL) model integrated with local wisdom. This study aims to measure the effectiveness of the PjBL integrated sasambo local wisdom model, which incorporates values such as cooperation, respect for nature, and social harmony, in enhancing students' scientific attitudes. The study employed a quasi-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest approach. The research subjects consisted of 70 students from Muhammadiyah Mataram University and Hamzanwadi University. Data were collected using a scientific attitude questionnaire with five indicators: curious attitude, respect for facts, an open-minded attitude, perseverance, and sensitivity toward the environment. The data were analyzed using normalized N-gain to measure the improvement in scientific attitudes and inferential statistical tests to assess the significance of the results. The findings reveal that the sasambo integrated PjBL model effectively improves students' scientific attitudes. The average N-gain was categorized as high (0.81 and 0.83) at both universities. Among the indicators, sensitivity toward the environment showed the greatest improvement, while respect for facts showed moderate improvement. Statistical tests indicated a significant difference between pretest and posttest scores, with consistent results across both universities. In conclusion, the the PjBL integrated sasambo local wisdom model significantly and consistently enhances students' scientific attitudes. This model holds potential as a culturally relevant innovative strategy for improving the quality of science education and fostering students' character development
