Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui korelasi kompetensi pedagogik guru dengan hasil belajar siswa kelas IX pada mata pelajaran Agama Kristen di SMP Negeri 1 Pulau Rakyat Asahan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah korelasional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa Kelas IX SMP Negeri 1 Pulau Rakyat Asahan yang terdiri dari 4 (empat) kelas yaitu: IX-1, IX-2, IX-3, dan IX-4 sebanyak 146 orang. Sampel penelitian ini adalah sebanyak 50 orang yang diambil dari siswa kelas IX-1 sebanyak 26 siswa dan siswa kelas IX-2 sebanyak 24 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah angket, dokumentasi dan wawancara. Angket yang digunakan sebanyak 30 butir soal dengan 5 (lima) option pilihan jawaban, pemberian nilai untuk setiap jawaban nilai yang diberikan yaitu: a. Selalu dengan nilai 5, b. Sering dengan nilai 4, c. Kadang-kadang dengan nilai 3, d. Jarang dengan nilai 2, dan e. Tidak Pernah dengan nilai 1. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh kesimpulan, bahwa ada hubungan signifikan secara simultan antara metode tanya jawab dengan minat belajar siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 1 Pulau Rakyat Asahan, hal ini telihat dari data yang menunjuKkan rhitung (0,68) pada rtabel (0,18) pada taraf signifikan 5%, atau dapat diformulasikan sebagai 0,68 0,18. Jika dilihat dari tabel interpretasi “r” product moment rhitung (0,68) terletak pada titik 0,60-0,90, maka dapat dikatakan mempunyai korelasi yang kuat dan tinggi atau hubungan yang signifikan.

Abstract

Tujuan daripada pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kepedulian pendidikan pada masyarakat di kampung Bandar Setia Kabupaten Deliserdang melalui program kebersamaan. Latar belakang masalah untuk mengadakan kegiatan pengabdian ini berawal dari keprihatinan kami akan kurangnya kesadaran masyarakat akan pentingnya pendidikan dikarenakan faktor ekonomi dan lain sebagainya terkhusus di kampung Bandar Setia Kabupaten Deliserdang. Sasaran dari kegiatan ini adalah anak anak kampung Bandar Setia Kabupaten Deliserdang yang putus sekolah dan membutuhkan perhatian khusus dalam bidang pendidikan dikarenakan kondisi ekonomi orangtua mereka yang kurang berkecukupan untuk melanjutkan sekolah anak-anaknya setelah sekolah dasar. Letak wilayah yang hampir dekat dengan kota belum menjamin mutu pendidikan mereka. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut kami bekerjasama dengan karang taruna yang ada di tempat tersebut. Luaran dari kegiatan PKM ini adalah berupa fasilitas rumah belajar yang lebih layak untuk anak-anak kampung Bandar Setia Kabupaten Deliserdang dan publikasi ilmiah berupa artikel.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the significant relationship between evangelism and discipleship of science students of SMA Immanuel Medan. This type of research is descriptive correlational, the population in this study were 41 science students of SMA Immanuel Medan while the sample in this study amounted to 41 people with a total sampling technique. The tool used in data collection was a questionnaire consisting of 28 items for valid evangelism 14 items while for valid discipleship 14 items, with 4 options before the questionnaire was used to test its validity and reliability. The results of the data analysis requirements test of evangelism of science students of SMA Immanuel Medan were normally distributed with the calculation of Xcount < Xtable (33.06 < 54.57). The normality data of discipleship of science students of SMA Immanuel Medan were normally distributed with the calculation of Xcount < Xtable (29.361<54.57). The results of the linearity test of evangelism data with discipleship are linear with the equation Y = 10.24 + 0.827 consulted with Ftable obtained Fh> Ft (54.57> 0.355). The tendency test of Evangelism of science students of SMA Immanuel Medan tends to be moderate (41%) and Discipleship of science students of SMA Immanuel Medan tends to be moderate (38.4%). The results of the product moment correlation test obtained rtable = 0.308, rcount = 1.956 and rcount > rtable (1.956> 0.308). This shows that there is a relationship between evangelism and discipleship according to Matthew 28:18-20 science students of SMA Immanuel Medan. To test the significance level of the two variables, a "t" test was carried out, obtained tcount 13.008 ttable 1.684 th > tt (13.008> 1.684). So this shows that there is a significant relationship between evangelism and discipleship according to Matthew 28:18-20 science students at Immanuel High School, Medan

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to improve the quality and effectiveness of message exchanges that occur in various communication contexts within the learning process. This research was conducted at SMK Jambi Medan with a sample of 39 class X students. Communication management is the process of managing communication resources that are frequently used in everyday life, including in the surrounding environment. The communication context referred to here means the individual, interpersonal, organizational, governmental, and social levels of communication. The positive impact of digital era learning media as an efficiency of communication management technological advances, providing many creative and challenging games that are apparently popular with students. The presence of digital technology does provide many benefits and can streamline communication management because work can be done easily and information becomes faster to access via the internet. However, behind it all, there are a million threats lurking, especially in generation 4.0. They are willing to spend most of their time with gadgets rather than playing in their environment. It is truly a heartbreaking reality, gadgets have become a new life for them. The negative impacts and side effects of using digital technology can include decreased academic achievement due to excessive use, limiting physical activity needed for children's growth and development, hampered development of children's social and language skills due to being introduced to gadgets early (especially at the age of under 2 years), brain development is not optimal due to unbalanced developmental stimulation, eye health problems (screen time should be limited to a maximum of 2 hours per day), concentration problems (intermittently looking at and checking gadgets), sleep problems, the amount of sleep time, and poor quality of sleep (due to the content of the viewing), no privacy, allowing personal data to be taken, child predators, cyber bullying, and others, problems with pornography, violence, or the instillation of negative values

Abstract

Increasing the number of new students in each school is very important, where the number of students is one indicator of the success of school management. Therefore, in a situation like this, what is also called strategic management is needed. Strategic management in the form of planning, organizing, action, and control are all functions of management itself that must be used to ensure the achievement of organizational goals with efficiency and effectiveness. The research design used is based on research and development and in this study only at the product design stage can produce a planning strategy to increase the number of students in SMK Jambi. The purpose of this study is to determine the implementation of strategic management applied in SMK Jambi in increasing the number of new students starting from strategy formulation, strategy implementation, and strategy evaluation. This study is a qualitative study using data collection instruments through interviews, observations, FGDs and studying documents. Data analysis was carried out using a SWOT analysis to analyze internal and external factors such as school climate, weaknesses, opportunities, and enrollment to develop a strategy to increase the number of qualified new students. The results of the SWOT analysis indicate that it is in the Strength Opportunity (SO) position, using an aggressive strategy by utilizing internal networks to pursue the goal of capturing certain opportunities from certain external networks. The recommended competitive strategies for planning educational institutions or schools are: 1) Promotion through online and offline media; 2) Holding high school/vocational school student olympiad competitions at the local level; 3) Cooperation with the local village government; 4) Teacher standards have met the qualifications of S2 graduates in their respective fields, 5) With a high fighting spirit or commitment to teaching services for teachers, 6) Facilities and infrastructure are quite complete, 7) Good cooperation with the community, 8) registration fee relief, 9) providing rewards/awards for academics who successfully register new students, ease of registration process; and 10) providing scholarship assistance to underprivileged students
