Soniya Tri Handayani. PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN KARTU HURUF TERHADAP KETERAMPILAN MEMBACA PERMULAAN PESERTA DIDIK KELAS 1 SD NEGERI KLECO 1 NO.7 SURAKARTA TAHUN AJARAN 2022/2023. Skripsi. Surakarta : Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Slamet Riyadi Surakarta. Juni 2023 Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh penggunaan media pembelajaran kartu hururf terhadap keterampilan membaca permulaan peserta didik kelas 1 SD Negeri Kleco 1 No.7 Surakarta tahun ajaran 2022/2023. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SD Negeri Kleco 1 No.7 Surakata, menggunakan dua kelas yaitu kelas 1.1 berjumalah 27 peserta didik sebagai kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan kartu hururf dan 1.2 berjumalah 27 peserta didik sebagai kelas kontrol yang menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Quasi Eksperimen dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes unjuk kerja membaca permulaan dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dilakukan sebanyak 2 kali yaitu : 1. uji prasyarat menggunakan uji normalitas dan uji homogenitas, 2. uji hipotesis menggunakan uji t independent samples test. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dengan uji independent samples test yang dilakukan pada kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol maka diperoleh sig (2-tailed) 0,012 < 0,05. Sesuai dengan kriteria pengambilan keputusan sig (2-tailed) < 0,05 maka H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Selain itu, jika menggunakan t-hitung dan t-tabel maka diperoleh hasil dari t hitung dari uji independent samples test adalah 2,604. Sedangkan besar t-tabel yaitu 1, 675. Maka dapat diketahui 2,604 > 1,675 atau nilai t hitung lebih besar dari t tabel, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Artinya terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara media pembelajaran kartu huruf terhadap keterampilan membaca permulaan perserta didik.

Abstract

Penelitan ini bertujuan untukk mengetahui bagaimana kemampuan pemecahan masalah peserta didikkkelas SD Negeri Ngandul 1 dalam menyalesaikan soal matematika berbasis HOTS, khususnya pada materi KPK dan FPB. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes, observasi,wwawancara, dan dokementasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan subjek melibatkan pesertaadidiik, guru kelas IV, serta orang tua wal murid kelas IV SD Negeri Ngandul 1. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan dari Miles dan Huberman.Keabsahan data diperoleh melalui triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi teknik, Berdasarkan hasil temuan selama didapatkan informasi mengenai kemampuan peserta didikk dalam memecahkan soal cerita matematika terkait KPK dan FPB berbasis HOTS. Penelitian ini mengambil 3 sampel yaitu peserta didik dengan kategori nilai tinggi yang mampu menyelesaikan soal pemecahan maslah secara baik, pesertaadidikkyang masih mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami dan membedakan bentuk soal cerita dengan baik dan masih kesulitan dalam membedakan soal cerita, dan terakhir dengan kategori nilai rendah tidak mampu dapat menyelesaikan soal pemecahan masalah dengan baik.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to determine whether there is an effect of using educational comic media on the reading and writing literacy skills of second-grade students at SD Negeri Kleco 01 Surakarta. This study employs a quantitative approach with a Pre-Experimental method, using the One Group Pre-test Post-test design. The population of this research consists of all second-grade students of SD Negeri Kleco 01 Surakarta in the 2024/2025 academic year, totaling 112 students. The sample includes 28 students from class II A of the same school in the 2024/2025 academic year, selected using a Non-Probability Sampling technique. Data collection was conducted through tests, interviews, observations, and documentation. The data analysis techniques used were the normality test and hypothesis testing with the Paired Sample T-test. Based on the research results and data analysis at SD Negeri Kleco 01 Surakarta, it can be concluded that there is a significant difference in students’ reading and writing literacy skills when using educational comic media. This finding is supported by the results of the Paired Sample T-test, where the sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000 < α (0.05), indicating a significant difference in learning outcomes before and after the treatment. The average pre-test score was 48.85, while the average post-test score increased to 88.42. These results demonstrate that students who learned using educational comics achieved better performance compared to before using the media. Therefore, this study shows that the use of educational comic media has a significant effect on improving reading and writing literacy skills.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the implementation of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model based on e-learning using the Quizizz application with QR codes in IPAS (Science, Social Studies, Arts, and Culture) learning at SD Negeri Karangasem 1 Surakarta. The background of this research is the challenge of creating interactive and relevant IPAS learning in the digital era, as well as the potential of technology to enhance student engagement. The research method employed is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach. Data collection was conducted through observation, interviews, and documentation. The subjects of the study were teachers and fourth-grade students at SD Negeri Karangasem 1 Surakarta. The results show that the implementation of PBL based on e-learning with Quizizz QR codes was effective in increasing student motivation and conceptual understanding. Students showed high enthusiasm in solving presented problems, and the use of QR codes facilitated access to interactive quizzes, encouraging independent learning and collaboration. However, some obstacles were identified, such as limited access to devices and internet networks for some students. The implications of this research highlight the importance of developing learning tools that are adaptive to school conditions and the availability of student technological facilities. This study recommends using a combination of online and offline methods to overcome these limitations, as well as continuous training for teachers in utilizing learning technology.

Abstract

This study was conducted to examine the implementation of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model combined with crossword puzzle media in teaching Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) Chapter 5 for fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 3 Mangunrejo. The main purpose of this research is to explore how the PBL model is applied through this medium, the challenges encountered during its implementation, as well as the strengths and weaknesses experienced by both teachers and students. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed, with the subjects consisting of the principal, teachers, and students, while the research object was SD Negeri 3 Mangunrejo. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, with validity tested using triangulation of techniques and sources. Data analysis followed Miles and Huberman’s stages, including data collection, reduction, display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that the application of PBL supported by crossword puzzles can enhance students’ participation and enthusiasm in the learning process. Nevertheless, teachers still face certain obstacles, such as limited instructional time and difficulties among some students in understanding the given tasks. The advantages of this method include improved interaction, critical thinking skills, and a more enjoyable learning atmosphere, while its weaknesses lie in varying levels of student comprehension that require teachers to adopt specific strategies.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) cooperative learning model combined with flashcards in improving Indonesian language learning outcomes among second-grade students at SDN Kleco 1 Surakarta. The approach used was quantitative, with a pre-experimental method and a One-Group Pretest-Posttest research design. All 112 second-grade students served as the population in this study, while class IId, consisting of 28 students, served as the sample, using a non-probability sampling technique. Data collection was conducted through several methods, such as observation, interviews, tests, and documentation. Furthermore, the data were analyzed using a normality test and a Paired Sample T-test for hypotheses. The results showed a significant change in Indonesian language learning outcomes after the use of flashcards. This is evident from the comparison of pretest and posttest scores, where the Paired Sample T-test yielded a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.000, which is less than α (0.05). This means there was a significant difference between the scores before and after the treatment. The average student pretest score of 50.71 increased to 79.10 in the posttest. This increase indicates that learning using flashcards positively impacts students' understanding of Indonesian. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the TGT cooperative learning model supported by flashcards positively contributes to improving student learning outcomes in grade II of SDN Kleco 1 Surakarta.

Abstract

This research is a quantitative research with the method used is the pre-experimental design method and using the one group pretest-posttest research design. The subjects in this study were students of class V, totaling 28 students. The data analysis technique used is the normality test with the one-sample Kolmogorov-Smirnov formula, Paired Sample t-tets. Based on data analysis on the effect of using sociodrama-based Project Based Learning on Javanese language learning, the average pretest result was 54.46, after being given the sociodrama-based Project Based Learning treatment the posttest results obtained an average of 78.04. Based on the paired sample t-test table, the t_count value is 30.797, this t_count value can be compared with t_table with dk = (N-1) so (28-1) = 27 at a 5% significance level, namely 2.056. Which means H_0 is rejected and H_a is accepted. So the hypothesis states that "there is an effect of using sociodrama-based Project Based Learning on Javanese language learning in class V SD Negeri Sambirejo Surakarta Academic Year 2022/2023" can be stated as true.

Abstract

Background: Hypertension remains a major global health problem contributing significantly to cardiovascular morbidity and mortality. Poor medication adherence is a key factor leading to uncontrolled blood pressure, particularly in primary care settings. The SMART-HTN pocketbook is a structured educational tool integrating medication adherence, lifestyle modification, and self-monitoring strategies for hypertension management. Objective: This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of SMART-HTN pocketbook-based education on medication adherence and blood pressure control among hypertensive patients in primary care. Methods: A quasi-experimental pretest–posttest control group study was conducted involving 60 hypertensive patients (30 intervention and 30 control). The intervention group received structured education using the SMART-HTN pocketbook combined with follow-up reinforcement for eight weeks, while the control group received standard care. Medication adherence was measured using the Morisky Medication Adherence Scale (MMAS-8), and blood pressure was assessed using a calibrated digital sphygmomanometer. Data were analyzed using paired and independent t-tests. Results: Baseline characteristics were comparable between groups (p > 0.05). After eight weeks, the intervention group demonstrated a significant increase in medication adherence scores (mean difference = +2.3 points; p < 0.001) compared to the control group. In addition, systolic blood pressure decreased by 13.3 mmHg and diastolic blood pressure decreased by 8.3 mmHg in the intervention group, both significantly greater than the control group (p < 0.001). Conclusion: SMART-HTN pocketbook-based education was associated with improved medication adherence and better blood pressure control among hypertensive patients in primary care. This structured and low-cost intervention shows promise as a scalable strategy for hypertension management in resource-limited settings

Abstract

Penyakit jantung merupakan salah satu penyebab utama kematian yang dapat dipicu oleh perilaku tidak sehat sejak usia remaja, seperti pola makan tidak seimbang, kurang aktivitas fisik, dan kebiasaan merokok. Rendahnya pengetahuan dan kesadaran remaja terhadap faktor risiko tersebut menjadi dasar perlunya upaya promotif dan preventif melalui edukasi kesehatan. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kesadaran remaja melalui edukasi kesehatan berbasis komunitas dalam pencegahan risiko penyakit jantung sejak dini. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di wilayah Gunungan, Kecamatan Serengan, Kota Surakarta, Jawa Tengah, dengan melibatkan 28 remaja usia 12–21 tahun. Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan pendekatan pemberdayaan berbasis komunitas melalui penyuluhan edukatif, diskusi interaktif, demonstrasi praktik sederhana, dan pendampingan reflektif. Evaluasi kegiatan dilakukan menggunakan desain pre-test dan post-test serta observasi partisipasi peserta selama kegiatan berlangsung. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan peserta, dengan nilai rata-rata meningkat dari 62,5 sebelum kegiatan menjadi 85,3 setelah kegiatan edukasi kesehatan berbasis komunitas dilaksanakan. Sebanyak lebih dari 75% peserta menunjukkan partisipasi aktif selama kegiatan dan mengalami peningkatan pemahaman terkait faktor risiko penyakit jantung, seperti merokok, pola makan tidak sehat, kurang aktivitas fisik, dan stres. Kegiatan ini memberikan kontribusi praktis dalam meningkatkan literasi kesehatan remaja serta mendorong keterlibatan aktif masyarakat dalam upaya promotif dan preventif penyakit jantung sejak dini. Dengan demikian, edukasi kesehatan berbasis komunitas dapat menjadi salah satu strategi pemberdayaan remaja dalam membangun perilaku hidup sehat secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Deep learning pedagogy has recently been promoted as a strategic response to the evolving demands of Indonesian basic education under the Merdeka Curriculum, which emphasizes student-centered learning, meaningful projects, and the cultivation of 21st-century competencies. Objective: This study investigates primary school teachers’ perceptions of deep learning pedagogy within the Wahidin Sudiro Husodo Cluster, Jumapolo Subdistrict, Karanganyar Regency. Novelty: Implications for developing a teacher training model and future research directions are discussed. Methods: Using a descriptive survey design, data were collected from 30 teachers across eight schools through a structured questionnaire (Likert scale) and complemented by short interviews and documentation review. The survey assessed three major dimensions: conceptual understanding of deep learning, classroom enactment, and school-level readiness for implementation. Results: Findings show that teachers’ conceptual understanding reached a “good” level (M = 3.65 on a 1–4 scale), while classroom enactment was “fairly good” (M = 3.40) and readiness for implementation remained “moderate” (M = 3.25). Qualitative evidence indicates that teachers commonly interpret deep learning as meaningful learning and higher-order thinking, yet some still conflate it with general active learning. Teachers reported constraints related to time allocation, learning media availability, class size, and limited technical training, despite acknowledging the relevance of project-based and problem-based learning for deep learning pedagogy. Conclusions: The study concludes that deep learning pedagogy is viewed positively but requires systemic support through structured professional development, school leadership facilitation, and practical guidance for authentic assessment and reflective learning routines.
