Abstract

This research aims to explore the relationship between organizational communication and policy making at the Tangerang City DPMPTSP Secretariat. The research background arises from the important role of communication in forming effective decisions and policies in public service organizations. The main objective is to analyze how the dynamics of organizational communication influence the quality of policies and the implementation process at the DPMPTSP Secretariat. The research method used is a qualitative approach using in-depth interviews with leaders, staff and related external stakeholders. Theme analysis was used to organize and interpret the data. The research results show that the quality of organizational communication greatly influences the effectiveness of policy making and its implementation. The findings of this research highlight the importance of clarity of organizational vision and goals, open communication between leadership and staff, and horizontal coordination between units. The implication of this research is the need to strengthen organizational communication as a strategy to improve the quality of policies and be responsive to community needs.

Abstract

An organization must strive to create a working environment where leaders and employees feel comfortable with each other. To this goal, leaders who have the power and ability to inspire their colleagues to do better in their work. Good leaders have the ability to give direction, correction, and evaluation to their subordinates to help them the goals of the organization. This research is categorized into exploratory research followed by descriptive research. Explorative research is an early study aimed at obtaining an idea of a subject of research that will be further studied. Descriptive study is a study whose purpose is to show (describe) something, and is non-experimental because the research is not under the direct control of the researcher.In delineating the communication patterns at BSI PT KCP Tangerang Terra Alto, the results of qualitative findings from in-depth interviews with employees and leaders describe the application of various forms of communication. Some respondents stated that face-to-face meetings provided opportunities for non-verbal expression and strengthened team members' connections. In the context of evaluating the effectiveness of communication, observational data show that the level of employee participation in policy discussions and implementation is a key indicator. In an in-depth study of the organizational communication and leadership patterns at PT Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) KCP Tangerang Tanah High, the data findings describe the diversity and complexity of the internal dynamics of the organization. Adopting a holistic approach in the type of communication, involving both formal and informal elements, provides room for creative exchange of ideas. Despite the dominant digital media, the value of face-to-face meetings remains significant, enabling non-verbal expression and strengthening interpersonal connections. From these findings, it can be concluded that organizations face complex challenges in managing communication and leadership patterns. Strategic recommendations include optimizing leadership styles, developing communication skills, and setting up forums for exchange of ideas.

Abstract

Pentingnya reputasi promotor di industri hiburan, terutama dalam menghadapi situasi krisis yang dapat memengaruhi persepsi publik, khususnya dalam kasus konser SEVENTEEN "RIGHT HERE" IN JAKARTA. Studi ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif dan purposive sampling. Meskipun komunikasi krisis penting, hasil menunjukkan tidak ada pengaruh signifikan langsung dari kualitas komunikasi krisis terhadap reputasi MECIMAPRO. Sebaliknya, loyalitas penggemar yang kuat terhadap artis dan pengalaman positif keseluruhan dari konser tersebut menjadi faktor dominan dalam mempertahankan dan bahkan membangun reputasi serta ingatan merek MECIMAPRO. Ini menunjukkan bahwa selain strategi komunikasi krisis yang efektif, penyelenggaraan acara yang berkualitas tinggi secara keseluruhan sangat krusial bagi promotor di industri hiburan untuk menjaga reputasi dan partisipasi penggemar yang berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Media sosial memiliki kepentingan yang signifikan bagi masyarakat, menyediakan informasi yang cepat, efisien, dan akurat melalui berbagai saluran komunikasi yang digunakan oleh organisasi, perusahaan, dan pemerintah. Salah satunya pemanfaatan media sosial yang dilakukan oleh Rumah KIM Kota Tangerang. Sehingga tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui proses pemanfaatan yang dilakukan oleh Rumah KIM sebagai media informasi dan publikasi kepada masyarakat serta kelompok informasi masyarakat (KIM) lalu hambatan yang dialami oleh akun instagram @rumahkimkotatangerang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan tipe penelitian studi deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik pengolahan dan analisis data menggunakan model analisis data Miles and Huberman, diantaranya yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini, dalam pemanfaatan media sosial Instagram @rumahkimkotatangerang sudah cukup optimal hanya saja ada beberapa indikator yang masih kurang. Serta faktor penghambat yang dialami yaitu konten, design dan minat masyarakat.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of public relations in utilizing the @kankeranakindonesia Instagram account to maintain the reputation of the Indonesian Child Cancer Foundation using descriptive qualitative research methods and public relations theory. The results showed that the role of public relations in managing the Instagram account is very important to maintain the foundation's reputation, as well as ensuring transparency and accountability in its activities. Public relations is directly involved in managing the uploaded content, as well as interacting with the public through comment sections and direct messages (DM). In addition, PR also plays a role in handling issues that arise on the platform so as not to negatively impact the foundation's reputation. Nonetheless, this study found that there are barriers to implementation, especially related to misunderstandings in the delivery of information between internal parties within the foundation.

Abstract

Purpose: This community service program aims to empower young people by promoting entrepreneurship and enhancing their skills, particularly in response to high unemployment and the economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. The goal is to produce young entrepreneurs who can drive local economic growth.Method: The program includes seminars, workshops, and mentorship in digital marketing, product branding, and entrepreneurial management. It follows a structured process from planning to evaluation, with pre- and post-assessments to measure participant progress.Practical Applications: The program equips participants with skills to leverage digital platforms for business growth, helping them address unemployment and social issues by becoming self-reliant entrepreneurs.Conclusion: The program shows that building entrepreneurial and digital marketing skills boosts young people's productivity and economic potential, contributing to local development and addressing social challenges.

Abstract

Effective communication is an important element in improving employee performance in an organization. This research aims to examine the role of internal communication in improving employee performance at PT. Synergy Karya Abadi Kisamaun, Tangerang. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach with a case study method. Data was collected through interviews, observation and documentation with superiors and employees of PT. Synergy Karya Abadi Kisamaun, Tangerang. This research uses the Neoclassical theory (Human Relations) put forward by Elton Mayo in 1927. The research results show that internal communication has a significant impact on employee performance. Research findings show that effective internal communication can increase employee motivation, job satisfaction and productivity. This research recommends that organizations prioritize internal communication to improve employee performance.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the role of communication in the promotion of the Tangerang City National Amil Zakat Agency (BAZNAS) Tangerang City. This research was conducted at Baznas Tangerang City from February to July 2024. This research used a case study qualitative research method. The author uses observation, interview and documentation techniques to collect data. Data analysis consists of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Based on the research results, in carrying out the role of communication for promotion, there are strategies that might be able to attract new muzakki at BAZNAS Tangerang City, and these strategies are also important tools to implement. This research uses IMC (Integrated Marketing Communication) theory. Based on the results of the research that the author obtained, in practice at BAZNAS Tangerang City, when the socialization was carried out the role of communication media well, and implemented all the indicators contained in it, and was also able to inform the muzakki and many people who learned new things about zakat, as well as educate the public about paying zakat Fitrah and Zakat Maal, and several obstacles that can arise from several factors.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the migration motives that underlie generation Z in following Ustadz Hanan Attaki's TikTok account. Alfred Schutz's phenomenological study was used as a theoretical framework to understand the motives and subjective experiences of the informants. The research method used was a qualitative approach by conducting in-depth interviews with 9 informants who were active viewers and followed Ustadz Hanan Attaki's TikTok account from generation Z. The data collected was then analyzed based on the concept of "because" motive and "goal" motive. " (motif in order) Schutz. The research results show that there are various migration motives behind generation Z in following Ustadz Hanan Attaki's TikTok account. The “because” motive includes past spiritual experiences, environmental influences, and identity crises. Meanwhile, the "goal" motive includes the desire to improve oneself, search for the meaning of life, and gain inner peace. These findings provide a deeper understanding of the dynamics of migration among generation Z in the digital era.

Abstract

The Peh Cun Festival is one of the cultural traditions brought by ethnic Chinese who came to Indonesia, the Cisadane River Peh Cun Festival itself is one of the oldest festivals in Indonesia. This festival is one of the big and lively cultural tourism agendas because there are various interesting event activities presented, the Peh Cun media can be said to be lacking in terms of promotion, especially in promotion using existing digital media. So, promotions need to be carried out to increase the number of tourist visits. This study aims to determine how to utilize effective Promotional Media in Marketing the Peh Cun Cultural Festival in Tangerang City. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method, with data collection techniques using interviews, observations and documentation. The results of the study show that the Tourism Communication used by the Boen Tek Bio Association in promoting the 2024 Peh Cun Festival includes Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC). This implementation can be seen from the use of Print Media, Outdoor Media, Electronic Media and Content on Social Media. Inhibiting factors in the 2024 Peh Cun Festival activities are time constraints and natural factors, while supporting factors include full support from the City Government, local television and radio stations, surrounding communities, and the local community.
