Abstract

The era of Society 5.0 presents challenges and opportunities for schools to adopt a digital culture. Challenges involve disparities in internet access and technology among students, limited educator competence, and lack of infrastructure in schools. This research aims to provide solutions by formulating concrete steps. The method used is a literature review from various sources. Based on the results of research from several literatures, conclusions can be drawn about concrete steps that can be used as guidelines for educational institutions, especially Islamic nuanced schools in facing the digital revolution without losing the roots of Islamic values that become their true identity, namely: (1) A holistic curriculum that integrates Islamic values with digital culture, (2) Teacher training to master technology and understand Islamic values, (3) Creating a technology-enabled school environment. It is hoped that the results of this research will be a valuable guide for educational institutions in facing the digital revolution. Practical implications include curriculum development, teacher training, and the creation of a conducive school environment. Further research can explore the effectiveness of curriculum implementation and character building as well as more effective training strategies for teachers.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the factors influencing teacher performance in the digital age, focusing on both supportive and obstructive elements shaping their effectiveness in integrating digital tools into teaching practices. The research systematically examines how technological and pedagogical factors, personal factors, organizational support, contextual factors, technostress, and the digital divide impact teacher performance. A systematic literature review was conducted using PRISMA guidelines, analyzing 650 scholarly articles published between 2020 and 2024. Articles were sourced through the Publish or Perish (PoP) application, applying specific inclusion criteria, such as empirical studies published in accredited journals and relevance to the study objectives, while excluding articles that lacked methodological rigor or were not written in English or Indonesian. From this process, 94 high-quality articles were selected for analysis. Data were processed using a scoring matrix to assess article quality and relevance, and findings were systematically categorized using Microsoft Excel to generate narratives, tables, and diagrams. The results reveal six critical factors affecting teacher performance: technological and pedagogical competence, personal factors, organizational support, contextual factors, technostress, and the digital divide. These findings highlight the complexity of teacher performance in the digital age and underscore the necessity of institutional support, continuous professional development, and policies to address technology-related disparities and stress. This study provides valuable insights for designing evidence-based strategies to enhance teacher effectiveness and educational quality in the era of digital transformation.

This research aims to analyze the sustainability of technology utilization training programs for teachers in post-pandemic era in terms of influencing factors and applicable strategies. The method used is a systematic literature review following the PRISMA guidelines. After analysis, 33 articles were found to be relevant to the topic. The results indicate that factors such as relevant training materials, trainer capabilities, and participant engagement play crucial roles. Recommended strategies include online-based approaches, hierarchical training, and the formation of teacher communities. The roles of school principals, educational departments, and school communities are also crucial in supporting the sustainability of training programs. Thus, collaboration between various parties and the implementation of appropriate strategies are key in maintaining the sustainability of technology utilization training programs for teachers in the post-pandemic era. Abstract

School literacy policy is one of the education policies that aims to improve students' literacy skills. Although in line with national education goals, the survey results show that the average literacy score of Indonesian students is still far below the average of OECD countries. This study aims to analyze school literacy policies by providing an in-depth understanding of school literacy policies and their contribution to 21st-century skills development, as well as providing solutions to improve the effectiveness and equity of policy implementation. This study used a Systematic Literature Review (SLR). Literature analysis shows that school literacy policies in Indonesia have increased, reflected in the growth of school libraries, the number of books, and the participation of teachers and students in literacy activities. However, challenges such as limited access to literacy resources and lack of student motivation in reading still need to be addressed. A deep understanding of the role of school literacy policy in developing 21st-century skills can make a positive contribution to national education in Indonesia. For future research, it is recommended to explore the impact of the use of technology in improving literacy in the school environment.
