Abstract

Nurses bear a fairly high workload in carrying out effective nursing service responsibilities. Work fatigue on nurses is one of the problems in human resource management in hospitals. Based on the initial interview that the author conducted with 10 nurses, 7 nurses stated that they were tired at work, their spines were sore, while the other 3 admitted that they did not experience any disturbances. The purpose of the study was to determine the factors of working period, workload and work shifts related to work fatigue on nurses at Ibnu Sina Hospital Pekanbaru. This research is quantitative with a cross sectional design which was carried out at Ibnu Sina Hospital Pekanbaru. The total population as well as the sample amounted to 120 people. Data analysis was univariate and bivariate using Chi Square Test. The results showed that there was a relationship between workload (p value = 0.017, POR = 2.647), years of service (p value = 0.049, POR = 2.452), work shifts (p value = 0.014, POR = 2.846). In conclusion there is a relationship between workload variables, work period and work shifts on work fatigue in nurses at Ibnu Sina Hospital Pekanbaru. It is suggested that the Ibnu Sina Hospital can be an evaluation material for the Ibnu Sina Hospital, especially in the division of work, work shifts that have an impact on the workload of nurses. Keywords: Workload, Work Fatigue, Nurse

Abstract

Clean and healthy living behavior is the main foundation for maintaining individual health and preventing the spread of disease. Education about clean and healthy living behaviors can be done in various ways, such as through counseling, campaigns, the development of educational materials, collaboration with health centers, training, the active role of schools, the use of social media, exemplary examples, and measurement and evaluation. Educational materials that are arranged in an attractive and easy-to-understand manner are the main instruments in this effort. Collaboration with medical personnel, involving health centers, and the active role of schools are recognized as important supporting factors. The use of social media is also integrated as an effective means of reaching a wider audience. By combining these approaches, it is hoped that people can better understand and adopt clean and healthy living behaviors in their daily lives. Evaluation of the effectiveness of educational programs needs to be done to ensure their success and impact on community knowledge and behavior.

Abstract

Community empowerment is one of the effective strategies to improve patient's quality of life by increasing the capacity of families and communities to provide home care. This service aims to evaluate the impact of home care training on the quality of life of patients with chronic health conditions treated at home. The methods used in the training include theory, practical simulations, and group discussions. The evaluation results showed that the trainees experienced an increase in knowledge and skills in providing home care, which positively impacted patients' quality of life. The program empowers families to treat patients more effectively and reduces the burden on the formal health system by optimizing care at home. This activity concludes that home care training is an effective strategy for community empowerment to improve patients' quality of life and support the sustainability of health care in the community

Abstract

The influence of the quality of home care services on patient satisfaction is an important aspect in the world of health services. Home care is a health service provided by medical personnel or other health professionals in the patient's home, usually to patients who need long-term care or patients with health conditions that make it impossible to come to a health facility. The study aims to determine the effect of the quality of home care services on patient satisfaction. Quantitative descriptive research design with analytical survey type using crosssectional survey approach. The results showed the quality-of-service p value 0.001, home care service p value 0.008, patient satisfaction p value 0.000, patient trust variables with significant values 0.000 < 0.005. It can be concluded that patient trust has a very important role in influencing the level of patient satisfaction and is likely to affect the quality of home care services. Psychologically, it will also affect the level of trust in the institution and service products. Home Care is needed by the community as a form of attention and concern for health workers to residents or communities in need

Abstract

Caring is a crucial aspect of healthcare, especially in the context of care in the internal space, where patients often experience complex health conditions that require special attention. This study investigates factors related to nurses' caring behaviour in the internal care room. roomThis type of research uses quantitative types with analytical descriptive research design through a cross-sectional approach with total sampling techniques. The results of the chi-square statistical test obtained motivation p 0.219, reward p 0.020, and length of work p: 0.008It can be concluded that there is a relationship between reward and length of work with the caring behaviour of nurses in the internal care room. Appreciation and length of work influence the caring behaviour of nurses in the internal care room. Length of work provides extensive experience and knowledge, while rewards increase nurses' motivation and job satisfaction. Combining these two factors can create a caring environment and positively impact patients in the internal care room.

Abstract

Introduction: Bartholin cysts are common in women of reproductive age and may cause significant pain, particularly when infection or abscess formation occurs. Pain management is typically approached through pharmacological and surgical interventions. However, non-pharmacological methods such as deep breathing relaxation (DBR) have emerged as promising complementary strategies. This scoping review aims to identify and map the scientific evidence related to the application of deep breathing relaxation techniques for pain management in patients with Bartholin cysts.. Methods: The review followed the Arksey and O’Malley framework. A comprehensive search was conducted across PubMed, Scopus, CINAHL, Cochrane Library, and Google Scholar using keywords including “Bartholin cyst,” “deep breathing,” and “pain management.” Eligible studies were screened and analyzed descriptively. Results: A total of 11 studies met the inclusion criteria, encompassing randomized controlled trials, quasi-experimental designs, and observational studies. Most studies reported that DBR techniques such as diaphragmatic and paced breathing effectively reduced pain intensity, enhanced patient comfort, and decreased anxiety prior to procedures for Bartholin cyst treatment. Conclusions: Deep breathing relaxation techniques represent a promising non-pharmacological approach for managing pain in Bartholin cyst patients. These methods are simple, non-invasive, and capable of improving the overall care experience. Further high-quality studies are needed to strengthen the evidence base for their effectiveness in this specific clinical context
