Abstract

Pengembangan warga negara yang demokratis sesuai dengan karakteristik warga negara abad ke dua puluh satu yang menekankan pada dimensi pendidikan, sosial, politik, sosial budaya, dan ekonomi sehingga diperlukan materi dan metode pembelajaran yang tepat. Disamping itu digitalisasi juga berpengaruh pada karakter generasi muda yang mudah terbawa arus instan informasi. Berawal dari kondisi seperti ini, perlu adanya  Penelitian tentang pengembangan model pembelajaran Citizen Journalism untuk meningkatkan civic skills dan civic empathy pada mahasisiwa, dimana penelitian tersebut bertujuan untuk melakukan investigasi dampak pada penggunaan model pembelajaran citizen journalism kepada mahasiswa untuk mengembangkan civic skills dan civic empathy sebagai upaya penguatan Pendidikan karakter bagi para mahasiswa. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian Tindakan kelas menggunakan model dari bachman. Informan dalam penelitian ini yaitu mahasiswa Teknik informatika Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Sunan Giri semester dua yang sedang menempuh mata kuliah Pendidikan kewarganegaraan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa para mahasiswa telah memiliki perangkat keteram- pilan dan empati sebagai bagian dari civic competencies yang membentuk karakter dan moralitas publik mereka. Melalui model pembelajaran citizen journalism, kedua kompetensi tersebut diperkuat dan tampak lebih jelas dengan pola pembelajaran berbuat dan penyelesaian masalah melalui penyelesaian proyek. Selain itu, hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa model citizen journalism mampu mengembangkan sikap-sikap demokratis mahasiswa seperti keterbukaan, berpikir kritis, toleran, dan bertanggung jawab.

Abstract

Lack of Computational Thinking in schools can cause problems including lack of problem-solving skills, limited creativity, lack of abstract thinking skills, inability to manage and analyze data, lack of understanding of the implications of technology, and lagging behind in career preparation. Therefore, it is important to strengthen the teaching of Computational Thinking in schools so that students have the skills and understanding needed to face challenges in the digital era. To overcome the problem of lack of Computational Thinking in schools, it is important to improve adequate curriculum, provide training and support to teachers, provide sufficient resources and access to technology, raise awareness of the importance of Computational Thinking, and encourage integration with other subjects. Socialization of Computational Thinking in schools can help prepare students to face an increasingly digital and complex world and can help overcome several problems related to technological developments and competency needs in the digital era. Through the socialization of Computational Thinking, problems such as lack of computational thinking skills, inability to solve complex problems, lack of understanding of the impact of technology, lack of integration of technology in learning, and less than optimal preparation for the digital workplace can be overcome. Thus, students can be better prepared to face challenges and take advantage of opportunities in the ever-evolving digital era

Abstract

Employee performance appraisal is very supportive in human resource management that affects various strategic decisions of the company, such as giving bonuses, benefits, and promotions. An objective and fair evaluation is needed to ensure that outstanding employees get the appreciation they deserve.  This research aims to apply the Rank Order Centroid (ROC) technique in determining the priority of assessment criteria. Using 5 main criteria used are productivity, quality of work, discipline, initiative and creativity, and teamwork. The Rank Order Centroid (ROC) method is used because it is easy to determine the weight of the criteria based on the order of the main priorities that have been determined by the decision maker. From the final results of ranking 5 alternatives to the 3 best alternatives, it can be analyzed that the C1 criterion really determines the final score because it is the criteria with the highest priority so that it gets the greatest weight and can affect the assessment results. The implementation of this technique is expected to support more precise and objective decision making and can facilitate decision makers in determining the parameters of the assessment criteria obtained based on the level of priority order of criteria and criteria attributes.

Abstract

The progress of innovation and data is currently very fast, one sign of which is the presence of the Internet of Things (IoT). IoT is an internet service that is integrated by utilizing certain types of sensorsIn the health sector, both the patient treatment process and the development of health science technology itself is experiencing rapid technological advances. The purpose of this research is to build a health monitoring system based on heart rate and body temperature based on the Internet of Things. The method used in this study is Prototyping.Prototyping is a software development method, which is in the form of a physical working model of the system and functions as an initial version of the system. The prototype of this tool is used to monitor the health of the human body through heart rate and body temperature in humans, namely by using a Pulse sensor and DS18B20 temperature sensor in hand then the results of the sensor readings will appear on the LCD and then configured on the Blynk application on the Smartphone . Based on the results of analysis and testing of health monitoring tools based on heart rate and body temperature based on the Internet of Things. Development of a health monitoring system based on heart rate and body temperature based on the Internet of Things has been made with various electronic components, namely NodeMCU ESP8266, Pulse sensor, DS18B20 temperature sensor , and also a 2x16 LCD. Testing the pulse sensor and temperature sensor DS18B20 is able to detect heart rate and body temperature by holding the two sensors

Abstract

Design and Development of Combat Robots Using Ultrasonic and Color Microcontrollers. Thesis, Computer Systems Study Program. Faculty of Science and Technology. Nahdlatul Ulama Sunan Giri University. Main Supervisor Guruh Putro Dirgantoro, M.Kom and Assistant Supervisor Roihatur Rohmah M.Si. Technology is an important aspect for humans that influences the progress of a nation in competing to make cards of various types, such as making combat robots (battelbots) based on Arduino Uno and Arduino nano microcontrollers equipped with distance sensor modules, colors, LCD modules as displays. enemy value and the motor driver module as the driving force for the robot, by using R&D Research and Development to collect data and analyze and using the Arduino IDE application to create coding for the combat robot project, the design and construction of this project can run well as expected, with the existence of error When experiencing gaps in the socket, the implication of this research is the development of Arduino Uno and Nano devices with distance sensor modules, color and LCD modules, motor drivers as the way for this fighting robot. This robot can be a solution in implementing or developing Arduino extracurriculars and organizing combat robot events among young people. In conclusion, Arduino Uno and Arduino nano can be applied to combat robots equipped with distance, color, LCD and motor driver sensor modules. This research is proof that it provides good value to young people in the learning process based on remote or automatic combat robots that use Arduino.

Abstract

The increasing demand for automated systems that can assist homeowners in managing their electronic devices without physical effort forms the backdrop of this research. With the advancement of Internet of Things (IoT) technology, the concept of a smart home has become more relevant, aiming to provide various conveniences to users. The integration of virtual assistants in smart home systems is seen as a key innovation to enhance the overall user experience. This research focuses on the design and implementation of a smart home system that utilizes a virtual assistant to control household to enhance efficiency and convenience in managing household electronic equipment through voice commands. The system uses a Raspberry Pi as a microcontroller connected devices to control lights and doors. The research involves system design, hardware development, and software development. The test results show that the system can execute user commands with high accuracy, such as turning lights on and off and automatically locking and unlocking doors. This research indicates that implementing a smart home with a virtual assistant for household devices can improve efficiency and convenience in managing household appliances. The system also shows potential for further development by adding additional features such as integration with security alarms and the ability to record user habits to create a more personalized and intuitive experience.

Abstract

In the modern era of technology, it is crucial to have access to the most up-to-date technical advancements. However, not everyone has the means to regularly upgrade their gadgets to keep pace with these improvements. This phenomenon can be attributed to the exorbitant expenses and transitory demand for technology, particularly in emerging nations like Indonesia, where the rental sector remains inadequately developed. This research proposes the construction of a mobile phone and camera rental application named Quick-Rent. The application is created using the Prototyping method, which is a system development approach. The prototyping method was selected due to its ability to enable developers to evaluate and enhance features depending on user feedback right from the outset of the design process. This application is specifically intended to enhance the efficiency of the leasing process by adapting system features based on user needs analysis. The findings indicated that certain system features were modified based on the user needs analysis. The system implementation process and the 7 scenario of blackbox testing confirmed the validity and usability of these features.

Abstract

Subsidized fertilizer is a form of the government's commitment to increasing agricultural productivity, increasing food production and sustainable food security, now the price of fertilizer in Bojonegoro district is getting more expensive, this encourages researchers to raise it as the title of the thesis. The purpose of the K-Means Clustering method is to increase knowledge and understanding of computer-based systems. The K-Means algorithm is an iterative clustering algorithm that partitions datasets into a number of K Clusters that have been set at the beginning. The K-Means algorithm is simple to implement and execute, relatively fast, adaptable, commonly used in practice. From the problem of clustering subsidized fertilizers in Bojonegoro Regency, it can be solved using the ¬K-Means method. The K-Means algorithm can precisely group large amounts of data. The determination of the central point (centroid) in the initial process of the K-Means algorithm has a significant influence on the cluster yield. Based on the research conducted, the authors tested the best cluster grouping using the Davies Bouldin Index (DBI). It was found that the results of 3 clusters were the best with a DBI value of 0.527 while 4 clusters with a DBI value of 0.649 and 5 clusters with a DBI value of 0.677. The smaller the resulting value in the test, the better the result will be. Meanwhile, the Mean Square Error (MSE) produced in fertilizer clustering is 0.588 and RMSE is 0.962.
