Abstract

Distribution system is one of the systems in electrical power that has an important role because it is directly connected with users. Usually there are often unbalanced loads and phase failure on three phase distribution system. Measuring tools here are needed in online monitoring to find out the real time value of a distribution system. Phase and power monitoring tool will be designed in a three-phase distribution system that use the internet so that it can be accessed remotely and uses Arduino Mega, Wemos D1 Mini device with PZEM-004T sensor. So that the display of monitoring results can be accessed via smartphone device using the Blynk application

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the significance of learning management in enhancing teaching and learning productivity. Using a literature review, the research approach analyzes the essential features of learning management, such as arranging time and space, boosting learning effectiveness, assuring student involvement, and managing learning resources effectively. The purpose of this study is to examine the function of learning management in enhancing teaching and learning productivity throughout the new normal period. The benefits of the research can offer recommendations for the phases of implementing learning management in the new normal era, including numerous crucial elements such as identifying goals and objectives, reviewing the current learning system, embracing technology and learning media, and others. By adhering to these steps, schools and educational institutions can ensure that their learning management is consistent with the new normal period and assist students in learning more effectively.

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemanfaatan teknologi dalam pembelajaran online melalui pelatihan penggunaan fitur Canva. Kegiatan dilaksanakan secara daring melalui aplikasi Zoom pada 17 November 2023, dihadiri oleh 44 peserta dari berbagai kalangan pendidikan. Pelatihan melibatkan dosen, mahasiswa, dan guru untuk meningkatkan keterampilan desain grafis mereka menggunakan Canva. Metode pelatihan melibatkan presentasi interaktif, praktik langsung, dan sesi diskusi. Hasilnya menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman peserta terhadap fitur-fitur Canva dan kemampuan mereka dalam menciptakan materi pembelajaran online yang menarik. Kolaborasi antarpeserta juga memperkaya pengalaman belajar. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan Canva berkontribusi signifikan pada peningkatan keterampilan teknologi peserta, yang berpotensi meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran online di lembaga mereka. Dengan adanya dukungan finansial dari instansi tertentu, kegiatan ini dapat dijadikan model untuk pengembangan kegiatan serupa di masa mendatang.

Abstract

Solar power plants (PLTS) are power plants that convert solar energy into environmentally friendly electrical energy. Reducing dependence on fossil fuel electricity and the increasingly expensive price of PLN electricity so that there is a need for alternative sources of renewable electricity, and the obstacle is the large investment in PLTS, including systems on-grid, off-grid, and hybrid. The use of sunlight in solar power plants is still limited to approximately 5 hours, the time range is from 10.00 to 14.30 WIB. To achieve the goal of extending the maximum period for collecting renewable energy, support can be provided by designing a prototype DC Converter, The design to be implemented uses the R&D research method. This research method is carried out to produce a product, test the effectiveness of the product, and perfect the product according to the criteria for creating a new product through different stages. The DC converter prototype functions as a replacement solar Charge Controller (SCC) is low cost and its performance produces electricity from 08:00 to 16:00 WIB. The Inverter is 12V 1000 watts and the output voltage of a 270Wp solar panel is around 33V DC, so the DC conversion function will reduce the output voltage of the solar panel to 12V DC and the load used by 30%. Installed load 240 watts or 0.24 kWh. can be fully lit for an average of 7 hours. By using a DC converter prototype, savings can be achieved assuming the selling price of PLN electricity is Rp. 1,444.70,-/kWH is Rp. 72,812.88/month

Abstract

The article delves into the dynamics of strategic management within the context of PT. Tangerang Tirta Manunggal, examining the relationships among Force for Strategic Implementation (FSI), Information System Sophistication (ISS), External Factors (EF), and Performance Capability (PC). Utilizing a sample of 85 participants, the study employs Smart PLS analysis to scrutinize both direct and indirect effects. The results demonstrate significant direct impacts, with FSI positively influencing EF and PC, and ISS exerting a positive influence on EF. Furthermore, the study unveils meaningful indirect effects, indicating that the influence of FSI and ISS on PC is partially mediated by their impact on EF. These findings collectively underscore the strategic significance of well-implemented strategies and sophisticated information systems in shaping external factors and enhancing organizational performance capabilities. The insights provided are valuable for decision-makers seeking to navigate a dynamic business environment effectively.

Abstract

Employee performance appraisal is very supportive in human resource management that affects various strategic decisions of the company, such as giving bonuses, benefits, and promotions. An objective and fair evaluation is needed to ensure that outstanding employees get the appreciation they deserve.  This research aims to apply the Rank Order Centroid (ROC) technique in determining the priority of assessment criteria. Using 5 main criteria used are productivity, quality of work, discipline, initiative and creativity, and teamwork. The Rank Order Centroid (ROC) method is used because it is easy to determine the weight of the criteria based on the order of the main priorities that have been determined by the decision maker. From the final results of ranking 5 alternatives to the 3 best alternatives, it can be analyzed that the C1 criterion really determines the final score because it is the criteria with the highest priority so that it gets the greatest weight and can affect the assessment results. The implementation of this technique is expected to support more precise and objective decision making and can facilitate decision makers in determining the parameters of the assessment criteria obtained based on the level of priority order of criteria and criteria attributes.

Abstract

Kesehatan dan Keselamatan Kerja (K3) merupakan aspek penting dalam menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang aman, termasuk di lingkungan Lembaga Pembinaan Khusus Anak (LPKA). Anak binaan di LPKA Palembang memiliki latar belakang sosial dan pengalaman kerja yang beragam, sehingga masih banyak yang belum memahami prinsip-prinsip K3. Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan kesadaran anak binaan terhadap pentingnya K3 melalui kegiatan sosialisasi yang meliputi materi teori dan praktik langsung, seperti penggunaan alat pelindung diri (APD), prosedur kerja aman, serta pertolongan pertama pada kecelakaan ringan. Metode kegiatan terdiri dari tahap persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Sebanyak 25 anak binaan mengikuti kegiatan ini dengan antusias, yang diukur melalui pre-test dan post-test menggunakan metode N-Gain Score. Hasilnya menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan peserta, dengan sebagian besar peserta berada dalam kategori peningkatan sedang. Kegiatan ini dinilai efektif dalam memberikan pemahaman dasar K3 serta mendukung pembentukan karakter disiplin dan tanggung jawab pada anak binaan. Sosialisasi ini juga berkontribusi terhadap tujuan pembangunan berkelanjutan (SDGs), khususnya dalam aspek pekerjaan layak dan kehidupan sehat.

Abstract

The development of electronic technology as a control system has progressed rapidly in the era of society 5.0. Various facilities at the airport have implemented microcontrollers, especially bird repellent devices, to realize the concept of a smart airport. Bird repellent devices are designed to automatically and efficiently repel birds. This is because birds pose a threat to increasing the risk of bird strikes, which can cause damage to aircraft engines and trigger flight accidents. When designing bird repellent devices, researchers must consider the design, sensors, and power supply to enhance the effectiveness of the tool when applied in the field. This article will review the factors that influence the effectiveness of bird repellent devices, namely: design, sensors, and power supply, in a literature review. The purpose of this writing is to build a hypothesis of the influence of the design, sensor, and power supply used in the design of bird repellent devices so that it can be used as a reference in further research. The results of this literature review article are: 1) the design affects the bird repellent; 2) the sensor affects the bird repellent; and 3) the power supply affects the bird repellent.

Abstract

Literasi digital merupakan keterampilan penting yang harus dimiliki masyarakat di era transformasi digital saat ini. Sayangnya, masih banyak kelompok masyarakat dari berbagai latar belakang yang belum memahami dasar-dasar pemrograman dan logika algoritma sebagai fondasi berpikir digital. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengenalkan konsep dasar pemrograman dan logika algoritma melalui pelatihan interaktif secara daring kepada 28 peserta dari berbagai kalangan. Pelatihan dilaksanakan pada 6 Februari 2025 melalui aplikasi Zoom dengan pendekatan pembelajaran partisipatif dan praktik langsung menggunakan platform visual sederhana yang sesuai untuk pemula. Metode pelaksanaan mencakup tahap persiapan materi, pelaksanaan pelatihan, diskusi interaktif, dan evaluasi hasil kegiatan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa peserta mengalami peningkatan pemahaman terhadap logika berpikir algoritmik dan dasar pemrograman, serta menunjukkan antusiasme dalam mengembangkan solusi digital sederhana. Pelatihan ini juga mendorong peserta untuk berpikir sistematis dan kreatif dalam memecahkan masalah. Kesimpulannya, kegiatan ini memberikan kontribusi nyata dalam peningkatan literasi digital masyarakat dan dapat dijadikan model pelatihan serupa di masa depan untuk kelompok sasaran lainnya.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penggunaan chatbot berbasis kecerdasan buatan (AI), seperti ChatGPT, sebagai asisten virtual dalam pembelajaran daring. Teknologi AI semakin berkembang dan memiliki potensi besar dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan, terutama dalam konteks pembelajaran jarak jauh. Chatbot AI berfungsi sebagai alat bantu untuk memberikan respons cepat, penjelasan interaktif, serta dukungan terhadap pemahaman konsep dan kemandirian belajar siswa. Melalui studi literatur yang komprehensif, penelitian ini menggali berbagai penelitian terkait penggunaan chatbot AI dalam pendidikan, baik pada tingkat siswa maupun mahasiswa. Beberapa temuan menunjukkan bahwa chatbot dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar, mempercepat proses pemahaman materi, dan membantu siswa untuk mengakses informasi kapan saja dan di mana saja. Selain itu, chatbot AI juga terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran daring. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan lebih dalam tentang manfaat dan tantangan penggunaan chatbot AI dalam pendidikan, serta memberikan rekomendasi untuk pengintegrasiannya di masa depan.
