Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menunjukkan apakah kesehatan mental siswa SMK Pelayaran Pembangunan Jakarta dipengaruhi oleh kecerdasan spiritualnya. Dalam metode penelitian ini menggunakan survei kuantitatif. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 60 siswa dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kecerdasan spiritual tidak berpengaruh terhadap kesehatan mental siswa SMK Pelayaran Pembangunan Jakarta. Dengan demikian penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kesehatan mental siswa di SMK Pelayaran Pembangunan Jakarta tidak dipengaruhi kecerdasan spiritualnya. Sehingga pentingnya peran guru bimbingan konseling mengadakan konseling individu secara terprogram dalam seminggu satu kali untuk mengetahui perkembangan siswa, dan apa yang sedang mereka alami. Serta menyediakan layanan informasi secara terprogram mengundang nara sumber ahli membahas tentang kesehatan mental di SMK Pelayaran Pembangunan Jakarta.

Abstract

Perbaikan kualitas pendidikan di sekolah tidak dapat dilakukan oleh satu orang saja melainkan memerlukan kontribusi stakeholder dalam upaya memperbaiki kualitasnya. Maka dari itu diperlukan penyuluhan tentang pentingnya penyuluhan tentang managemen mutu berbasis sekolah dengan materi kualitas pembelajaran dan reputasi sekolah. Penyuluhan ini dilaksanakan di SMA Kartika X-1 Jakarta dengan metode penyuluhan yang diharapkan mampu membangun kesadaran kepada seluruh manajemen dan stakholder terkait manajemen mutu berbasis sekolah. Hasil dari pengabdian yang dilakukan bahwa terdapat dampak perubahan kepada stakeholder yang menjadi peserta bahwa manajemen mutu sangat diperlukan karena sangat mempengaruhi kinerja guru dalam mengajar selain itu, peningkatan kualitas mutu memiliki keterkaitan dengan reputasi sekolah sehingga berdampak pada antusiasme peserta untuk mampu berkontribusi terhadap reputasi tersebut.

Abstract

This study emphasizes the significance of providing teachers with opportunities to develop their capacity to implement innovative peer-learning strategies. The research also emphasizes the necessity for educational institutions to guarantee equitable access to resources and facilities to facilitate the implementation of optimal peer-learning strategies. This study employs a framework for analyzing industrial transformation and educational innovation. Students, academics, instructors, heads of educational institutions, and government officials were among the approximately 20 respondents in the study. The focus of the study was on two case studies examining the contribution of peer learning in Physics classes at two Jakarta secondary institutions. Since Physics is one of the principal subjects for which interactive learning methods have been extensively developed, research findings indicate that respondents agree that peer learning is an innovative and engaging method. However, participant teachers' comprehension of the potential of peer learning varied. Some instructors have a solid grasp of the concept and its benefits, whereas others have a limited grasp.

Abstract

Strengthening leadership capacity is key to continuously improving the quality of educational institutions. This community service activity aimed to disseminate the concept and practice of capacity-building leadership to principals, vice principals, and educators, equipping them as agents of change in the educational environment. The implementation method included material delivery, interactive discussions, and case studies based on real-life problems in educational institutions. The dissemination material covered understanding of transformative leadership, educational quality management, data-driven decision-making, and strategies for building a collaborative and innovative work culture. The results demonstrated an increased understanding among participants of the importance of adaptive and visionary leadership in driving improvements in the quality of learning and school management. This activity is expected to be the first step in building a more resilient educational ecosystem that is responsive to the challenges of the times.Penguatan kapasitas kepemimpinan (Capacity building leadership) menjadi kunci dalam upaya peningkatan mutu satuan pendidikan secara berkelanjutan. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan dengan tujuan untuk menyosialisasikan konsep dan praktik Capacity building leadership kepada para kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah, dan tenaga pendidik sebagai agen perubahan di lingkungan pendidikan. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan meliputi penyampaian materi, diskusi interaktif, dan studi kasus berbasis permasalahan nyata di satuan pendidikan. Materi sosialisasi mencakup pemahaman tentang kepemimpinan transformatif, manajemen mutu pendidikan, pengambilan keputusan berbasis data, serta strategi membangun budaya kerja kolaboratif dan inovatif. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman peserta terhadap pentingnya kepemimpinan yang adaptif dan visioner dalam mendorong peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran dan pengelolaan sekolah. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi langkah awal dalam membangun ekosistem pendidikan yang lebih tangguh dan responsif terhadap tantangan zaman

Abstract

This study stems from the limited research on the implementation of Total Quality Management (TQM) in Islamic educational institutions at the district level, despite its significant impact on the competitiveness and relevance of Islamic education in responding to both local and global dynamics. The aim of this research is to descriptively analyze the planning, implementation, evaluation, and the supporting and inhibiting factors in the application of TQM. A qualitative approach was employed using a multi-case study design involving one Madrasah Aliyah and one modern pesantren, both selected purposively. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis, and then thematically analyzed. The findings reveal that both institutions have implemented TQM principles with distinct approaches: the Madrasah Aliyah emphasizes compliance with the National Education Standards (SNP) integrated with Islamic values, while the pesantren fosters a holistic quality environment covering academic performance, student self-reliance, mastery of classical Islamic texts (kitab kuning), and foreign languages. Key supporting factors include visionary leadership, an adaptive organizational culture, and active teacher involvement. Conversely, the main challenges lie in budget constraints, resistance to change, and difficulties in assessing non-academic quality indicators. The study concludes that synergy between the institutions' internal values and external demands is essential for effective TQM implementation. The implications highlight the need to strengthen evaluation systems and provide contextual, sustainable training for human resources to drive holistic quality improvement.

Abstract

This study discusses the role of school principals as managers in improving the quality of education, principals as leaders in improving the quality of education, supporting and inhibiting factors, as well as solutions to facing inhibiting factors in improving the quality of education. In this study the authors used a qualitative research method, namely a method based on the philosophy of postpositivism, used to examine natural object conditions, where the researcher was the key instrument, purposive sampling of data sources, collection techniques by triangulation (combined), analysis the data are inductive/qualitative in nature and the results of qualitative research emphasize meaning rather than generalization. This type of research is field research and library research. Using primary data and secondary data, qualitative research instruments with data collection techniques Primary data obtained from interviews with SMAS KARTIKA X_1 South Jakarta and filling out questionnaires with the relevant informants are collected and processed in advance to simplify the data. The results of this study are that the principal has a major role in improving the quality of SMA. With a clear vision, effective pedagogical leadership, good resource management, collaboration with stakeholders, coaching and staff development, as well as comprehensive monitoring and evaluation, school principals can bring about significant changes in improving the quality of education at SMA Kartika X-1 Jakarta South.

Abstract

The limited research on the application of School-Based Management (SBM) within the context of Islamic education at the regional level forms the basis of this study, despite SBM’s strategic role in enhancing the quality and autonomy of madrasahs. This study aims to examine the implementation, supporting and inhibiting factors, and the forms of SBM models that emerge within the cultural and Islamic value framework at Madrasah Tsanawiyah. A qualitative method with a multisite case study approach was employed, involving three madrasahs (one public and two private) purposively selected. Data collection techniques included in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis of the Madrasah Work and Budget Plans (RKAM), followed by thematic analysis. The findings indicate that SBM is implemented adaptively through three main pillars: transformational leadership by the madrasah head, synergy between the school committee and foundation, and the internalization of Islamic values such as musyawarah (deliberation) and amanah (trustworthiness) in decision-making and management practices. Key challenges include limited human resource competencies, fluctuating community participation, and policy misalignment between the Ministry of Religious Affairs and private foundations. The study concludes that the success of SBM in Islamic schools is highly dependent on the integration of its principles into the institutional culture of the madrasah. The implications suggest the need to develop a context-sensitive SBM theory and design training programs tailored to the unique characteristics of madrasahs through collaborative efforts between the Ministry of Religious Affairs and private foundations.
