Abstract

This research was conducted in June-August 2020 in Badi Island pangkep regency of South Sulawesi province.. The research method is a case study by following directly the operation of catching 26 squid fishing rods on the capture trip. Observations were made on a squid fishing rod based in the Badi Island environment with relatively the same size and construction. Data taken 25% of the fishing population fishing fishing squid Productivity of squid fishing in each respondent is different. CPUE (Catch Per Unit Effort) value of fishing rod catch in June – August has an increase in value. CPUE for the last five years of 2015-2019 has a very significant difference in value, but there are several factors that affect, among others, the efficiency of fishing gear operations, oceanography, increasing number of capture fleets and increasing number of trips. The area of capture is located around Badi Island and Lumu-Lumu Island. The time it takes to get to the arrest area is about ± 2 hours. Potential fishing area of squid fishing rod in the waters of Badi Island Pangkep Regency supported by several aquatic oceanographic parameters namely sea surface temperature, chlorophyll-a, salinity, current speed, depth and substrak waters.

Abstract

This research was conducted based on the urgency of Islamic education in the 5.0 era where all aspects of life are almost controlled by technology, so the role of Islamic education is needed in facing the challenges that may occur along with the times and technology. Therefore, this study aims to provide insights into how Islamic education should prepare everything to be ready to fight in this era. This research is library research which originates from various literature, both books and journals. The results of the study show that the human resources produced in education are decreasing because they prioritize technology, so Islamic education institutions and systems must be able to carry out various reforms that can maintain their existence in this 5.0 era.

Abstract

Pemanfaatan limbah pasar, khususnya limbah sayuran, sebagai bahan baku pakan ternak ruminansia menjadi alternatif strategis untuk mengurangi biaya produksi sekaligus menangani permasalahan lingkungan. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan dan mendampingi mitra dalam pembuatan pakan fermentasi berbasis limbah pasar yang diberi nama Vege Compfeed. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di Peternakan Limofarm, Kecamatan Ulee Kareng, Kota Banda Aceh, dengan metode fermentasi pakan komplit yang melibatkan bahan utama berupa limbah sayuran yang dikombinasikan dengan dedak, molases, bungkil inti sawit, dan tepung jagung. Proses fermentasi dilakukan selama 14 hari. Kegiatan ini terdiri dari beberapa tahapan, yaitu koordinasi dengan mitra, sosialisasi pembuatan pakan, pemilahan limbah, fermentasi, serta pendampingan dan monitoring. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa Vege Compfeed dapat diterima oleh ternak setelah melalui tahapan adaptasi. Kegiatan ini juga mendorong penerapan konsep green economy melalui praktik peternakan yang efisien, ramah lingkungan, dan berkelanjutan. Diharapkan, mitra dapat terus memproduksi dan memanfaatkan pakan ini secara mandiri untuk meningkatkan efisiensi usaha dan kemandirian pakan ternak.

Abstract

Analysis of students' science literacy skills provides educators with alternatives that can be given to students as an evaluation in learning. This research aims to determine the Science Literacy Skills of Students. This research was conducted in the Odd semester of the 2024/2025 academic year at the State Islamic Institute of Ambon. The subjects of this research were 24 active students of the Biology Education Study Program. The instrument developed was limited to the material on Pests and Diseases of Marine Products. The research method is descriptive statistical analysis by describing the existing conditions without treatment. The instrument developed consisted of eight multiple-choice written test questions. The research revealed that the science literacy ability of Biology Education students at IAIN Ambon is generally still classified as low, with a percentage of (59.47%). The indicator that shows the ability to explain scientific phenomena accurately is in the very low category (37.33%), and the indicator related to data interpretation and drawing conclusions appropriately is in the good category (76.00%). This shows that the science literacy competence of these students needs to be improved through a science literacy-based learning approach.
