Abstract

School accreditation has a very important role in improving the quality of teachers. because school accreditation helps set educational quality standards that must be met by educational institutions. The objectives of this study are: (1) to get an overview of the importance of elementary school accreditation; (2) to get an overview of the importance of improving the quality of teachers in elementary schools. R & D research methods with qualitative descriptive research type. The respondents were 30 elementary school teachers in Jeneponto Regency, South Sulawesi. The results of his research illustrate that school accreditation needs to be carried out in very necessary categories, And the quality of teachers needs to be improved by the category of need. Because accreditation provides a legal framework for educational institutions. The existence of an accreditation body can help ensure that the institution operates by applicable norms and regulations in improving the quality of teachers.

Abstract

Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) bagi guru sekolah dasar dilakukan dalam bentuk kegiatan pelatihan ppelaksanaan pendekatan Teaching At The Right Level . Tujuan kegiatan pelatihan ini untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan pemahaman bagi guru sekolah sehingga dapat membantu sekolah dalam meningkatkan kemampuan guru pada pelaksanaan pendekatan teaching at the right level. Kegiatan pelatihan ini menggunakan metode ceramah, tanya jawab dan diskusi. Peserta pelatihan adalah guru sekolah dasaryang berjumlah 20 orang. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa sebelum pelatihan dilakukan guru kurang baik memahami materi pelaksanaan pendekatan teaching at the right level, dan setela dilakukan pelatihan peserta sudah memahami dengan kategori baik, sehingga diharapkan guru bisa melaksanakan pendekatan tersebut di sekolah masing-masing, Setelah pelatihan guru sekolah dasar dapat mengerti dan memahami materi yang diberikan pada kegiatan ini, karena materi ini di lengkapi dengan latihan memahaman pelaksanaan teaching at the right level (TARL) sehingga kendala guru dalam pelaksanaan pelaksanaan pendekatan TARL di sekolah bisa diselesaikan dengan baik.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of school management based on school accreditation references. the focus of this research is to determine the achievement of school management components at Integral Al Bayan Makassar elementary school. The purpose of this study was to determine the achievement of school management components at Integral Al Bayan Makassar elementary school. The approach in this research is qualitative with descriptive approach. This research was conducted at Al Bayan Makassar Integral Elementary School. The data sources in this study were principals and teachers. Data collection techniques are observation, interview and documentation. Data analysis techniques use data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. Checking the validity of the data using triangulation techniques. The results showed that the implementation of school management based on school accreditation reference includes: (1) Curriculum Management, In curriculum management, Al Bayan Makassar Integral Elementary School involves stakeholders continuously in curriculum development to meet the target of quality excellence in curriculum development, involves stakeholders to adjust programs based on needs and provides a budget for curriculum implementation. (2) Management of Teachers and Education Personnel, Al Bayan Makassar Integral Elementary School in the management of teachers and education personnel by first recruiting teachers and education personnel in accordance with the criteria, recruitment and selection that is transparent and accountable conducted by the foundation and then new teachers and education personnel will be coached and assisted at school for three months. (3) Management of Facilities and Infrastructure, Management of facilities and infrastructure at Al Bayan Makassar Integral Elementary School has a positive impact on the learning process, schools always ensure that all facilities and infrastructure are ready for use by checking regularly so as not to interfere with the entire educational process at school, schools also always observe if there are obstacles or deficiencies in the availability of facilities and infrastructure.

Abstract

The focus of this research is how to describe the implementation of school culture and what are the supporting and inhibiting factors. This study aims to describe how the implementation of school culture is described and describe the supporting and inhibiting factors for the implementation of school culture in SD Muhammadiyah I Layang Parang Layang Makassar City. This research uses a qualitative approach, therefore in order to obtain a research objective, data collection methods are used, namely interviews, observations and documentation. The data sources in this study are principals, teachers and students at SD Muhammadiyah I Layang Parang (LP) Layang Makassar City. Data analysis in this study is data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawn. The results of this study show that the implementation of school culture in SD Muhammadiyah I Layang Parang (LP) Layang Makassar City is identified through values, beliefs and habits. The values applied are the values of honesty, discipline, and social concern. The beliefs in SD Muhammadiyah I Layang Parang (LP) Layang Makassar City are related to Islamic values, namely Tawhid and Akhlak. Then the habits applied are the habit of praying before and after studying, Friday prayers in congregation, cleaning the classroom environment, and weekly infaq. The supporting factors for the implementation of school culture at SD Muhammadiyah I Layang Parang (LP) Layang Makassar City are the participation of teachers, the integration of Islamic values into learning and activities that have been programmed. There are factors that hinder the implementation of school culture at SD Muhammadiyah I Layang Parang Layang Makassar City including inadequate facilities, lack of parental involvement, and lack of support from friends.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis gambaran penerapan metode bernyanyi terhadap kemampuan keaksaraan awal pada anak usia dini 5-6 tahun dan menganalisis faktor pendukung dan faktor penghambat penerapan Metode Bernyanyi Terhadap Kemampuan Keaksaraan Awal pada Anak Usia Dini 5-6 Tahun. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah kualitatif. Subyek penelitian yaitu peserta didik. Data dianalisis dengan reduksi data, penyajian data, verifikasi dan penarikan simpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode bernyanyi terhadap kemampuan keaksaraan awal pada anak usia dini didesain sedemikian rupa, sehingga membuat suasana belajar yang menyenangkan. Metode bernyanyi dilakukan pada satu topik pembelajaran, metode tersebut lebih membantu dan memudahkan anak dalam mengenal, menghafal, menyerap dan memahami huruf dan mempraktekkan bunyi hurufnya. Oleh karena itu diperlukan suatu cara mengemas pembelajaran yang inovatif dalam menyampaikannya kepada anak, anak-anak senang dengan bernyanyi, guru harus memahami apa yang disukai oleh anak, dengan mengemas topik-topik dalam bentuk lagu, diharapkan anak dapat dengan mudah menerima. Guru menjadi kunci utama dalam kelancaran pembelajaran dengan metode bernyanyi, karena sebelum guru mengajarkan lagu sebaiknya guru benar-benar paham akan lagu yang diajarkan.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the ability to recognize numbers in early childhood and analyze the effect of the use of plasticine media on the improvement of these abilities. Early childhood is at a stage of cognitive development that requires concrete and interactive experiences in learning, so plasticine media is chosen as a tool to introduce numbers through play activities. The research method used is quantitative with a quasi-experimental design. Data were collected through observation and tests of the ability to recognize numbers before and after treatment. The results of the study show that the initial ability to recognize numbers in early childhood is at the basic level, namely being able to recognize the numbers 1-5. After the use of plasticine media, there was a significant improvement in the ability to recognize numbers, including understanding shapes, sequences, and number concepts. Children are more motivated and actively involved in learning. The conclusion is that plasticine media is effective in improving children's ability to recognize numbers and provide a concrete, fun learning experience according to the characteristics of early childhood development.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the effect of applying the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model based on the Marind Tribe's life principles on the development of students' compassion. The approach used was quantitative with a quasi-experiment design using Nonequivalent (Pretest and Posttest) Control Group Design. The research subjects consisted of 120 students at SD YPPK St Tarsisius Biankuk, SD YPPK St Fransiskus Xaverius I, and SD YPPK Sta. Theresia Buti Merauke, which were divided into experimental and control classes. Data analysis was conducted using the Independent Sample t-test with the help of SPSS IBM 23. The results showed that the application of the PBL model significantly improved students' compassion attitudes, with a calculated t value (50.842) > t table (1.981) and p-value (0.000) < 0.05, indicating a significant difference between the experimental and control classes.

Abstract

Quality, relevance and competence are three aspects of higher education that are interrelated and have a direct contribution to increasing the nation's competitiveness in the field of human resources. This study uses qualitative research methods. The increasingly fierce competition for job seekers from higher education graduates in Indonesia demands the attention of higher education providers to always make adjustments to the curriculum. Increasing the relevance of this education should be the target of continuous quality improvement as part of an overall higher education quality assurance system.
