Abstract

The present research investigates the intricate interplay among student engagement, school capacity, teacher performance, and the proficient implementation of technology within secondary institutions in Indonesia. This study employs a quantitative methodology to incorporate these constructs into a comprehensive model by utilizing Structural Equation Modeling with Partial Least Squares. The study surveyed 243 educators using a stratified random sample, which yielded valuable information regarding demographic characteristics, patterns of technology usage, and the intricate interrelationships among the variables identified. The robust validity and reliability of the measurement model validated the efficacy of the chosen indicators. Significant positive correlations were identified through path analysis among student engagement, school capacity, teacher performance, and technology effectiveness. By drawing inspiration from the Integrated Educational Technology Ecosystem theory, this model enhances the theoretical comprehension of technology integration specifically within the domain of secondary schools in Indonesia. In addition, recommendations and practical implications for policymakers, educators, and future research are addressed.

Abstract

The science laboratory administration at MTs Darul Amien, which is still managed manually, causes inefficiencies in equipment lending services, inventory accuracy, and report preparation. This study aims to develop a Science Laboratory Information System based on Google Apps Script to improve administrative efficiency using the Research and Development (R&D) method with the 3D model (Define, Design, Develop). Product validation involved 2 material experts and 2 media experts, while testing was conducted on 17 users (2 users in the small group test and 15 users in the large group test). The validation results showed feasibility scores of 93.06% from material experts and 91.32% from media experts, while user responses reached 95.14% in the small group and 88.94% in the large group. In conclusion, the developed Science Laboratory Information System (SILAB-IPA) has been proven valid, feasible, and effective to implement in supporting administrative efficiency and building a modern science laboratory management system at MTs Darul Amien

Abstract

Abstract

Background: Mathematical biology plays a crucial role in understanding the dynamics of ecosystems and biodiversity. By employing mathematical models, researchers can analyze complex biological interactions and predict changes within ecosystems over time. This approach is vital for addressing environmental challenges and informing conservation strategies. Objective: This study aims to develop mathematical models that accurately represent the dynamics of ecosystems and the factors influencing biodiversity. The focus is on identifying key interactions between species and their environment, as well as the implications of these interactions for ecosystem stability. Methodology: A combination of differential equations and computational simulations was employed to model various ecological scenarios. Data from field studies and ecological surveys were utilized to parameterize the models, allowing for realistic representations of species interactions and environmental influences. Results: Findings indicate that specific species interactions, such as predation and competition, significantly affect biodiversity and ecosystem dynamics. The models revealed thresholds beyond which ecosystems could shift to alternative stable states, emphasizing the importance of maintaining biodiversity for ecosystem resilience. Conclusion: This research highlights the value of mathematical modeling in the study of ecosystems and biodiversity. By providing insights into the intricate relationships between species and their environment, the study contributes to a better understanding of ecological dynamics and informs effective conservation strategies.
