Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the benefits of lenses on health; the aim of this article includes an in-depth understanding of the benefits of using lenses on eye health, identified through potential risks or health problems related to lens use, as well as investigations depending on the latest innovations or developments in lens technology that can improve eye well-being. In this descriptive research, the researcher uses a method in the form of a literature study that aims to observe, find out, assess, identify, analyze, and determine the topic of related research. The results of data analysis concluded that lenses have significant benefits for health, especially eye health. Lenses also help correct vision problems such as nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism. Lenses have significant health benefits, including protecting the eyes from dust and UV rays, aiding vision correction, reducing exposure to blue radiation, preventing dry eyes, and improving the quality of life for those with visual impairments. In various forms, lenses help maintain and improve eye health for overall comfort and well-being. Lenses can also help in particular situations, such as providing clarity of vision for athletes or physically active people and facilitating proper medical examinations and eye surgery procedures

Abstract

Misconceptions in physics education are a significant challenge, hindering students' understanding and ability to solve scientific problems.  Addressing these misconceptions is essential for enhancing learning outcomes and improving instructional methods. This study seeks to provide a comprehensive analysis of how diagnostic tests have been developed and applied to identify misconceptions in the context of physics education in Indonesia. A Systematic Literature Review methodology was used to analyze 186 scientific articles published between 2015 and 2025, indexed in Google Scholar. The research followed the PRISMA framework to ensure a transparent, replicable process. The findings indicate that diagnostic tests in Indonesia have evolved from simpler two-tier formats to more complex six-tier systems. Among these, the four-tier diagnostic test was the most commonly utilized, proving effective in identifying misconceptions by capturing students' answers, the reasoning behind those answers, and their confidence levels. The review also identified specific topics where misconceptions were most prevalent, including Particle Dynamics, Heat and Temperature, and Vibrations and Waves. These areas showed consistent patterns of misunderstanding across multiple studies. This study underscores the need for continued advancements in diagnostic tools to improve their reliability and validity. It also highlights the importance of exploring less-studied physics topics and expanding the use of multi-tier diagnostic tests. Such efforts are crucial for refining instructional strategies and improving students' conceptual learning in Indonesian physics education. The findings contribute to the field of physics education by offering actionable insights for educators and researchers in designing targeted interventions and advancing conceptual learning.

Abstract

Scientific creativity is an important skill in 21st century learning. In practice, many students still have difficulty in developing ideas, exploring, and solving problems innovatively. Various previous studies have developed teaching materials based on Project Based Learning (PjBL) and Augmented Reality (AR) separately. However, none have integrated the two to improve scientific creativity. Based on the results of previous research studies, this study aims to develop student worksheets (LKPD) based on PjBL integrated with AR to improve the scientific creativity of high school students. The research method used is Research & Development (R&D) from ADDIE which consists of five stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Based on the results of previous research studies, both in terms of methods, approaches and use of physics learning media, there is a research gap, the gap between this research and previous research is the integration between AR technology and project-based LKPD. The integration of AR with project-based LKPD simultaneously is something new in this study. This integration will provide a new experience that is more interactive and interesting in the physics learning process. The results of the study showed that the results of the validity test by three experts obtained an average validity score of 3.91 (98%) with a very valid category and a reliability score reaching 95.6% with a reliable category. Thus, this student worksheet is declared valid, practical, and effective in improving the scientific creativity of high school students. The limitation of this study is that this study has only reached the validation stage so that it needs to be implemented in more high schools.
