Abstract

The role of Pancasila education in shaping the ethics of the younger generation of students is becoming increasingly crucial to ensure that the nation's noble values are maintained and applied in everyday life. This study aims to determine the role of Pancasila education in shaping the younger generation. This research method specifically adopts a qualitative approach with a focus on analytical description. Data collection is carried out by collecting from various literature sources such as scientific journals, articles, books, and related expert works. Data analysis is carried out qualitatively consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of data analysis show that civic education is essentially a conscious and planned effort to educate the nation's life for citizens by cultivating the nation's identity and morals as a basis for the implementation of the rights and obligations of defending the state for the survival of life and glory and the nation and state as well as the development of good citizen attitudes. Pancasila education as character education is one part of instilling character in students because in Pancasila education there is main character education and basic character education. Pancasila education in the Indonesian education curriculum is not only a symbol but also as an initial shield in facing the threat of the decline of the nation's noble values

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to identify the development of emotional, moral, personality, social, language, physical, cognitive, and motor aspects of elementary school students. This research was carried out by observation and direct observation methods on 23 5th grade students of SDN 068 Sindanglaya. This research was carried out through a qualitative descriptive method. The instruments used in data collection are observation and interviews. Data analysis was carried out qualitatively consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The results of the study showed that in the language aspect, speaking ability reached 100%, reading, listening, and communication 80% each. The emotional aspect shows all indicators at 60%. The moral aspect stands out in responsibility (100%), while empathy and honesty 60%. The personality of students also needs to be improved with all indicators at 60%. In the physical aspect, sports while playing reached 100%. The motor aspect, locomotor reaches 90%, non-locomotor and manipulative 80%. Social aspects, social interaction 90%, others 80%. Cognitive aspects, thinking ability 90%, and others 80%. It can be concluded that students show good abilities in various aspects.

Abstract

The transformation of primary education has become a critical issue in the era of globalization and technological advancement. Primary education not only plays a role in shaping children’s character but also prepares them to face global challenges. This study employs a literature study method, utilizing secondary data such as research findings, books, journals, articles, and other relevant sources to analyze the impact of globalization and technology on primary education management in Indonesia. The findings highlight the importance of adapting a globally oriented curriculum, integrating technology, and strengthening character education to develop adaptive and culturally rooted generations. Challenges such as digital inequality and inadequate teacher readiness require collaboration among governments, educational institutions, private sectors, and international communities to establish an inclusive and sustainable education ecosystem
