Abstract

Chocolate pudding is a food that is rich in fiber and is liked by everyone. Chocolate pudding can be made from several types of chocolate powder with various brands on the market. It is possible that the various brands of chocolate on the market have different tastes. Pudding is a colloid that is good for health, because pudding contains fiber which is good for digestion. Seeing the increasing trend of desserts, the author took the initiative to make dessert cups in order to provide education to people who want to become entrepreneurs in the culinary field, especially desserts. Dessert is not only a sweet food but also a source of nutritional content that can build energy in the body. When eating dessert makes your mood happy and your mind calm, of course the energy in your body also improves. Apart from that, this dessert made from chocolate contains antioxidants and is rich in fiber, which can fulfill the nutrients needed by the body. The methods used in this activity include lectures, questions and answers or discussions, and training. The results obtained were (1) The participants responded well to the training in making chocolate pudding dessert cups; (2) Strong motivation and interest from training participants so that it supports the transfer of information and skills from service providers to participants, and each participant can fully absorb the training material offered; and (3) The training product for making chocolate pudding dessert cups can be consumed daily and can be used as an entrepreneurial product.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the effect of Korean Street Food marketing strategies on MSMEs in Pasar Cidu Makassar on increasing sales volume, with social media as an intervening variable. Quantitative methods were used in this research by collecting data through surveys of 50 MSME owners or managers at Pasar Cidu Makassar who actively use social media in their marketing strategies. The results of multiple regression analysis show that marketing strategy has a significant direct influence on social media (path coefficient = 0.541, p < 0.05) and sales volume (path coefficient = 0.646, p < 0.05). In addition, social media also has a significant influence on sales volume (path coefficient = 0.062, p < 0.05), acting as a mediator between marketing strategies and increasing sales volume. Path analysis shows that the total effect of marketing strategy on sales volume is 0.6795, which indicates the existence of significant direct and indirect effects. These findings emphasize the importance of integrating marketing strategies and social media in an effort to increase the sales volume of Korean Street Food MSMEs at Cidu Makassar Market.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of financial literacy and digital literacy on the growth of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), specifically in the culinary sector in Rappocini District, Makassar City. The research method used is a quantitative approach with data collection techniques through surveys and questionnaires distributed to MSME actors in the Rappocini District, Makassar City. The research sample consists of 102 informants, calculated as 25% of the total population of 408 MSMEs in the area. The results of the study indicate that financial literacy and digital literacy have a significant impact on the growth of MSMEs. Financial literacy helps MSME owners manage their finances better, while digital literacy enables them to utilize technology for more efficient marketing and operations. The conclusion of this study is that increasing financial and digital literacy can substantially promote the growth of MSMEs. Therefore, it is recommended to have training and education programs focusing on these two aspects to support the sustainability and expansion of MSMEs in the Rappocini District.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the impact of increasing value added tax (VAT) rates on society and inflation in Indonesia. The method used is a literature review with a library study approach, utilizing secondary data sources such as books, articles, scientific works, previous research and other related literature. The research results show that the increase in the VAT rate from 10% to 11% and the planned increase to 12% in 2025 have caused various responses among the consumer community, the business community, the macro economy and towards inflation. That this increase will increase the expenditure burden, resulting in an increase in the prices of goods and services, as producers or service providers will most likely adjust their prices to cover the additional VAT costs they have to pay to the government. However, based on the law on harmonization of tax regulations, there are certain criteria regarding goods and services that are subject to VAT. This increase also aims to increase state revenue, expand the tax revenue base, reduce the state budget deficit, and maintain long-term fiscal stability. The increase in VAT from 10% to 11% has a direct impact on inflation with a contribution of around 0.4–0.5%. However, this impact tends to be short-term because it is limited to the initial adjustment phase. The impact on inflation tends to be limited, because the main factor for inflation in Indonesia is more influenced by global commodity prices, namely the sharp increase in commodity prices such as cooking oil and fuel oil (BBM). The government seeks to maintain price stability through a policy of sending taxes on essential goods and subsidies, so that the impact on society can be minimized.

Abstract

This community service aims to improve the skills and income of the community through the production of chocolate banana chips. This activity includes training for housewives and MSME actors on the technique of making banana chips with an attractive chocolate coating. In addition to providing knowledge about the production process which includes the selection of raw materials, processing, and proper packaging, this program also teaches aspects of product marketing effectively. It is estimated that through the innovation of the products produced, the community can utilize the potential of local bananas as raw materials and increase the competitiveness of their products in the market, thereby opening up new economic opportunities and improving welfare. In addition, this community service program also emphasizes the importance of aspects of cleanliness, food safety, and the use of simple technology in the production process. Training participants are given an understanding of how to process bananas into processed products with added value, while introducing various digital marketing techniques to expand market reach. Thus, the community not only masters technical skills in the production of chocolate banana chips, but is also able to manage businesses more professionally and sustainably. This program is expected to be a model of empowerment that can be applied in other communities, thereby encouraging local economic growth through innovative and competitive food products.

Abstract

Pizza rolls are snacks in the form of small rolls that usually contain typical pizza ingredients, such as tomato sauce, cheese, meat such as pepperoni or sausage, and various other toppings. The outer crust of pizza rolls is usually made from thin dough such as bread or pastry, then fried or baked until crispy. Pizza rolls are a small snack that combines the classic taste of pizza with a practical form that is easy to eat at any time. Its popularity makes it a favorite choice for casual events, parties or just an afternoon snack. Seeing the increasing food trend, the author took the initiative to make pizza rolls with topping variants in order to provide education to people who want to become entrepreneurs in the culinary field, especially snacks. Pizza rolls are known as a practical and delicious snack, but their health benefits depend on the ingredients used and how they are made. Some of the potential benefits of pizza rolls, especially if made with quality ingredients and consumed in moderation, are a source of fast energy, rich in protein, a source of calcium, contain vitamins and minerals, a healthy alternative with modifications, and improve mood. The methods used in this activity include lectures, questions and answers or discussions, and training. The results obtained were (1) The participants responded well to the training in making pizza rolls with topping variants; (2) Strong motivation and interest from training participants so that it supports the transfer of information and skills from service providers to participants, and each participant can fully absorb the training material offered; and (3) The training product for making pizza rolls with topping variants can be consumed daily and can be used as an entrepreneurial product.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the connection between students' financial behavior or financial behavior and financial literacy and attitudes. Monetary proficiency alludes to's how understudies might interpret ideas and information connected with individual budget, while monetary perspectives mirror understudies' psychological and close to home mentalities towards cash, monetary administration and speculation. Adult students from a variety of social and economic backgrounds are asked to respond to a survey as part of this research method. The survey has questions about financial behavior, attitudes toward money, and financial literacy. The collected data were then analyzed using statistical techniques and SPSS to determine whether or not the variables of financial literacy, financial attitudes, and financial behavior were linked together. According to the findings of this study, financial literacy and attitudes toward prudent financial behavior are positively correlated. Students who have a high level of financial literacy are more likely to have positive financial attitudes, which in turn influence them to make better financial decisions and manage their personal finances more effectively. On the other hand, students who lack financial literacy or have negative financial attitudes are more likely to engage in poor financial behavior like overspending, not saving enough, and managing their debt in an unhealthy way.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of income level and hedonistic lifestyle on the quality of personal financial management of Generation Z in Makassar City. The research method is a quantitative approach with data collection techniques through surveys and questionnaires to Generation Z in Makassar City using 100 samples with multiple linear regression data analysis techniques. The results of the study indicate that income level has a positive effect on the quality of personal financial management because the higher the income, the higher the ability of Generation Z to manage personal finances flexibly and more stably. The hedonistic lifestyle on the quality of personal financial management of Generation Z shows a pattern that tends to be negative, where the increasing tendency of hedonism will have an impact on the decreasing ability to manage finances effectively if done excessively, so training and education are recommended for both aspects related to understanding and financial management skills, so that Generation Z is able to balance lifestyle with financial responsibility in order to achieve personal economic stability in the future.

Abstract

This research examines the impact of monetary policy on Indonesia's national economic growth through a qualitative approach using the literature study method. The main focus is to analyze the effectiveness of the monetary policy instruments used by Bank Indonesia, namely the benchmark interest rate (BI-7 Day Reverse Repo Rate), open market operations (OMO), and minimum reserve requirements in creating macroeconomic stability. The research results show that monetary policy plays a vital role in influencing national economic growth, but its effectiveness is affected by various external and internal factors. Expectations of economic actors, global macroeconomic conditions, domestic economic structure, and alignment with fiscal policy are determining factors for the success of monetary policy. Research also reveals that the management of the money supply and appropriate interest rates can encourage investment, increase consumption, and create jobs that play a crucial role in sustainable economic growth. To achieve optimal results, Bank Indonesia needs to implement monetary policy with balance and precision, and coordinate with the government's fiscal policy.
