Abstract

The kitchen is a room used as a place for activities to produce food, from preparing ingredients to processing food into ready-to-eat food. The kitchen has a vital role in food processing. Therefore, the kitchen and the surrounding environment must always be kept clean. Kitchen users are also required to maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen, starting from the equipment used, the place to store cooking utensils, and the place used for work must always be kept clean. The focus of this research is on examining cleanliness, which is directly related to hygiene and sanitation in the kitchen of the Sahid Polytechnic, Roxy Campus. Hygiene is the study of health. Hygiene refers to individuals, food, and beverages because it is a condition for achieving health status. Sanitation is a preventive health effort that focuses on human environmental health efforts. The purpose of sanitary hygiene is to prevent disease and poisoning. Clean hygiene is not only about taking care of individual health, food ingredients storage, and so on; it should also take care of the environment around the kitchen area. This study uses a descriptive research method with a qualitative approach. Determinants of the sample or determining the source of information using snowball sampling. Data collection techniques by observation, interviews, literature study, and documentation. The results showed that the application of cleanliness related to the kitchen hygiene of the Sahid Polytechnic Roxy Campus had not been carried out adequately based on interviews that the author conducted with three workers in the kitchen of the Sahid Polytechnic Roxy Campus. Based on the results of interviews that the author worked with workers in the kitchen of the Sahid Polytechnic, Roxy Campus, they have not been able to implement a good and correct sanitation hygiene system to maintain cleanliness and health in the kitchen environment of the Sahid Polytechnic, Roxy Campus.

Abstract

Tahun 2020 akan diingat dalam sejarah sebagai tahun terjadinya wabah flu mematikan berskala global yang melumpuhkan aktivitas perekonomian dunia di awal abad ke-21. Wabah ini disebut Covid 19 (Corona Virus Disease 2019), virus ini menular dengan sangat cepat dan telah menyebar ke hampir semua negara, termasuk Indonesia. Hal ini berdampak buruk bagi perekonomian negara, salah satunya industri pariwisata karena kebijakan pemerintah yang menerapkan PSBB (Pembatasan Sosial Berskala Besar) serta lockdown yang menyebabkan industri pariwisata tidak dapat beroperasional. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui aktivitas pariwisata tetap berjalan selama pandemi Covid 19 dan mengetahui model pelayanan untuk menarik konsumen berwisata dimasa pandemi Covid 19, Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan mengumpulkan data, mereduksi data, penyajian data dan penyimpulan hasil penelitian. Hasil dari penelitian ini setelah dilakukan wawancara, aktivitas pariwisata tetap berjalan dimasa pandemi Covid 19 dengan menjalankan protokol kesehatan sehingga wisawatawan merasa aman saat berwisata

Abstract

Tujuan: penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi pengembangan bisnis Thrift oleh akun "Koreannoona" dan memahami dampak tren pakaian bekas impor terhadap masyarakat, terutama di kalangan anak muda.Metode: yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif melalui observasi dan wawancara. Subjek penelitian ini adalah akun "Koreannoona" yang menjual pakaian bekas impor (Thrift) dengan memanfaatkan platform e-commerce Shopee melalui Live Streaming. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa bisnis Thrift berkembang karena tingginya minat pada pakaian bekas yang berkualitas dan terjangkau. Penelitian ini juga mengidentifikasi beberapa tahapan penting dalam mempersiapkan pakaian bekas untuk dijual.Implikasi: penelitian mencakup dampak positif terhadap ekonomi lokal, perubahan tren fashion, dan potensi revisi regulasi pemerintah mengenai impor pakaian bekas. Selain itu, penelitian ini memberikan panduan strategis bagi pelaku bisnis Thrift dalam memanfaatkan e-commerce dan mengedukasi konsumen tentang manfaat pakaian bekas.

Abstract

Promotion Strategy is a plan for optimal use of promotional elements: advertising, public relations, personal selling and sales promotion. (Lamb, Hair, McDaniel, 2001). Because of that, the promotion strategy of a hotel is very decisive so that the hotel can survive all conditions and existing competition. In the initial observations, it appears that the promotional elements mentioned above are not in ideal conditions or do not take place as expected. To describe and explain the Promotional Strategy of Mandarin Oriental Hotel Jakarta in terms of Advertising, Sales Promotion, Personal Selling, Direct Marketing and Public Relations. This research is a research with a qualitative approach, using a case study technique, which is an empirical study that investigates phenomena in their context, in real life, especially when the boundaries and context are not clear. Data collection by interview, observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques by means of reduction, display, and verification. Data Validation Techniques by means of Triangulation. Respondents consisted of top managers, middle managers, lower managers, and employees of the internal and external Marketing Department of the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Jakarta, totaling 10 respondents. Before and during the Covid-19 Pandemic, the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Jakarta had implemented a Promotional Strategy to increase and maintain occupancy levels. Likewise, during the post-pandemic Covid-19 era, the Promotion Strategy was carried out, where advertising was carried out massively through digital platforms and third parties (digital media, bank promotion, and partnerships and the use of influencer marketing); Sales (Sales Promotion), modified according to the situation and conditions encountered; Personal Selling (Perjualan Personal), reactivated as an important strategy, apart from that brand awareness is influenced by government policies in terms of PPKM; Direct Marketing (Direct Marketing), carried out even though it is more enthusiastic but taking into account government policies in terms of PPKM; In terms of Public Relations, we always implement the we care program. This whole strategy involves all staff. The result is selling hotel products, creative thinking in developing certain activities, and increased employee loyalty.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Mulyaharja Tourism Village, located in Bogor City, holds great potential for the development of natural and cultural tourism. However, the use of social media as a promotional tool remains limited. This community service program aims to enhance the capacity of tourism actors and local communities in effectively utilizing social media through training in content creation, digital marketing strategies, and consistent account management. The implementation methods include village potential mapping, social media training, workshops on designing tourism packages, and joint evaluations with participants. The results of the program indicate that although the village’s social media accounts already feature attractive content, consistency in posting and strategic management still needs improvement. With consistent and well-directed use of social media, Mulyaharja Tourism Village is expected to strengthen its tourism appeal while also supporting local economic development Keywoards: Media Social, Training, Marketing   ABSTRAK Desa Wisata Mulyaharja, Kota Bogor, memiliki potensi besar dalam pengembangan wisata alam dan budaya, namun pemanfaatan media sosial sebagai sarana promosi masih terbatas. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas pelaku wisata dan masyarakat lokal dalam memanfaatkan media sosial secara efektif melalui pelatihan pembuatan konten, strategi pemasaran digital, serta pengelolaan akun yang konsisten. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi perencanaan potensi desa, pelatihan penggunaan media sosial, workshop penyusunan paket wisata, serta evaluasi bersama peserta. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa meskipun akun media sosial desa sudah memiliki konten menarik, konsistensi unggahan dan strategi pengelolaan masih perlu ditingkatkan. Dengan pemanfaatan media sosial yang konsisten dan terarah, Desa Mulyaharja diharapkan mampu memperkuat daya tarik wisata sekaligus mendukung pengembangan ekonomi lokal.
